The pictures of the base(5th and 6th pictures) are the actual color. It was taken when I had it apart and was cleaning it before dark, the other pictures are taken with flash and do not show the true color, will take more tomorrow in daylight. I don't know the age of it or any more information other than it appears to be very old. Going by the condition of the original cord and the plug that was on it. I would think its from the 1920s to 1940s but really have no way of knowing. I did some searching on ebay archives and did not find one like it that had been sold in the last 2 years. T here are some numbers stamped on the bottom of the base but the switch is in the way and all I can make out is S11 with 2 more numbers under the switch. And I would rather not remo ve the s wit ch as I'm afraid I would have to replace i t if I did. It screws into the base and it doesn't want to come loose. But if it would help someone by knowing what the n umbers are under it I will remo ve it and if it gets damaged will replace it with a new switch. Purchased at a fine estate sale in Philadelphia is a very unique and ornate lamp. This art deco lamp is probably from the 1930's. Heavy cast metal with Jadite Candelabra and 2 electric candles. This lamp works perfectly. And seems the cord was replaced. It measures from the tallest point approx. 15" to end of candle and approx. 8 1/2 wide side to side under candles. Selling: a vintage 1950's era glazed pottery TV PLANTER LAMP with Egyptian Princess design. It is not marked by the maker. It measures 10" tall x 8" wide x 5-3/8" deep. It has two wells in the back at each side for flowers. The wells have old hard foam inside that can be removed. The base of the lamp has a partial felt liner. The electric cord and hardware are old and appear to be original to the lamp. The light fixture works good(does not include bulb) The color is a mustard yellow and the glaze has light overall crazing that is normal for pottery of this age. Date: Around 1935 +/ Maker: Degue(bowl is signed) Materials: The center bowl has a rare shape and is made out of thick-walled. Molded glass. The bowl has a soft pink to salmon tone and has a mostly frosted surface with clear-polished elements in it. In the center the bowl shows a floral decor that is reduced to its strict geometrical forms. The applications and the canopy are most likely made out of bronze. The chains are made out of solid brass and were recently renewed. I have other fixtures listed and more on the way. This is an amazing find fresh from an estate the scroll work is beautiful. This will look fantastic in any home or office. I have a matching fixture listed separately. The sockets do not fit normal bulbs they are foreign possibly French. Easy to swap out for ones that accept normal bulbs or possibly there is an adapter that can just screw in. The milk glass shades look great and have no chips or cracks. The fixture with the shades is 20 wide and 34 from the ceiling to the bottom. the shade fitters are 2 1/4.

A Superb & Rare Antique Art Deco Bronze & Brass Lizard Lamp & Ashtray-c1930s.
This superb and rare Antique Art Deco Bronze and Brass Lizard Lamp and Ashtray dates to around the 1930s or thereabouts. I have never seen another like it. And so consider it to be even more desirable as a result. To the underneath the base is clearly marked"Made in Scotland" The Base of the Lamp is actually an Ashtray, and I believe that this part of the Lamp is Bronze. The rest of the Lamp is I believe Brass. The Ashtray Base has the most fabulous detail, and I have tried to capture this in the photographs. I have no idea who the Maker is, but those with more knowledge than myself may know at a glance. The electrics were cut out of the Lamp before I acquired it, and so the Lamp will need to be rewired by a fully qualified Electrician. The Ashtray base of the Lamp has a diameter of approximately 5.75 inches maximum. The Lamp stands ... moreapproximately 10.5 inches high. It weighs around 760 grams and is in wonderful vintage condition, with only the most minimal signs of wear commensurate with age and use. The Lamp stands upon 5 rubber tipped feet. Vintage 50's Gilner Co.TV Lamp Doe & Fawn Deer Art Deco Mid Century Modern
Vintage. Black and gold,ceramic pottery, 1950's, television,table, T V accent lamp, and planter in nice shape. The Bakelite electric light socket works and easily unscrews from the lamp with just your fingers. I am leaving it unassembled. This old lamp is in excellent shape with normal use and age wear.Has normal glaze crazing. The tips of the ears have very small painted and repaired chips.Very hard to tell or see( see picture) but you can feel them. Planter has two hairline cracks on the left and right top edges that I can see.Planter clunks, not chimes when you flik it. Please ask any questions. Item sold as used and as is. The globe is held by the base featuring 3 female gargoyle figures similar to what you can spot on top of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. Selling very nice Deco lamp with QUEZAL shade. Lamp stands from bottom to top of the shade is 22 1/2" tall. Lamp works. Shade is in good condition. No chips. Figurine has something missing that she suppose to hold. Prisms will have nicks. The bulb socket is Edison Patent. The other mark I found by the socket is Pat. Feb 23, 1904, the part that its on I don't think its the same deal that attaches to socket. Her left hand has little piece of pinky missing, right above the nail see pic for details. LARGE PAIR OF ITALIAN ART DECO CARVED ALABASTER LAMP VASES
PAIR OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HANDCARVED ALABASTER LAMP VASES. High quality representation of the stone carvings that the Italian sculptors were creating in the early part of the 20th century. The lamps are fully operational and when lighted give off a very soft and warm reflection through the alabaster prism that surrounds the light. When not lighted the vases are simply spectacular exhibiting that rare aged patina gained only from absorbing years of natural lighting and environmental exposure. The aged patina is a soft brownish hue with traces of darker natural verigated lines. Both have highly decorated lids that are art forms in themselves. In very good condition with some some edge nicks consistant with use and age. Lamp#1 on the right has some heat damage from over wattage bulb in the past which lessens the light reflection intensity escaping ... morethrough the alabaster and causes the dark ring at center. The heat also altered the crispness of the carving and softened it's appearance(see close up of Lamp#1) Age: Early 20th century(1910 to 1930) Condition: Very good vintage condition with traces of normal use some edge nicks expected for its age. lamp#1 on right has some heat damage lessening light visibility through alabaster. Muller freres A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall sconces in bronze or solid brass holding Muller shades in moulded pressed glass both signed Muller freres Luneville. The sconces are 37 cm high(14-1/2" Depth 16cm(6-5/16" And the shades are 4-1/16 inches wide. I have cleaned the fixtures and protected it with an invisible layer against oxidation. This model Muller shade is refered to in the old Muller catalogues as"tulipe aux rideaux"the curtains) The signature on this model shade is placed very high. Close to the hole for the socket. Since all shades with a hole on top were grinded after being moulded very often the signature becomes practicaly invisible. On both shades of these sconces they are clearly there. this is a really amazing genuine art deco lamp. The naked figure is made from bronze so its pretty heavy, it stands on top of a thick glass bowl which is filled with glass marble type balls and a multicoloured painted glass vase has been placed in the centre where the bulb slots into, never seen another like it before, ive not put a plug on the wires, all ive done is used a torch to try and show what effect it might have lit up, im sure it would look amazing, just imagine it with one of the flickering flame type bulbs or a coloured bulb, the glass bowl does have chips around the top, buyt these are covered by the metal surround,it might have been altered over the years as the centre coloured glass looks more recent, under the base of the figure it has remains of glass covering the slots and some old glass mixed in with the glass balls. the ... morebowl and balls are extremely heavy so i would prefer collection on this. im sure you wont find another like it. probably one of the best deco lamps ive seen. the figure itsel measures 20.5cm high or 25cm high measuring the rest of the lamp fitting which slots over the bowl. the wiring does look like it may have been re-wired as the cable looks in good condition and it also has an earth. but i would recommend having it checked out before using. viewing highly recommended otherwise please enlarge all 12 photos.
