The best antique art deco adjustable swivel type brass bankers lamp! 1920s-30's* This is a really great looking solid brass bankers desk lamp which is 14 inches high and 7 inches wide at the octagonal shape base. The main column is reeded. The brass is in excellent condition with only a few very tiny spots of discoloration. The lamp has had a new wire added. The loaf shaped cased green and white glass shade is 8 1/2 inches in length and 5 inches wide which has an extended front area. No chips or cracks. Vintage Art Deco Retro/ Mid Century Electric Table Lamp w/ Shade Works! This lamp is in wonderful condition. My first thought when I saw this lamp is the base looks sort of like a whales tail as they entered the water.pretty cool. We may decide to ship this lamp in two boxes. The lamp stands approximately 21 3/4" tall to top of the finial. It is approximately 17" wide. The round base is approximately 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade is 10 1/8" tall x 17 1/4" wide x 7" deep. The"whales tail" is a made of pottery or ceramic. There are no cracks. Chips on the design. It is a grayish brown color with white/ivory"bumps" for lack of a better word) The metal ... moreround base has some wear. Spots and scratches from years of use. The metal bar and harp seem to be in good shape. This shade is textured as seen in pictures. The shade has a spot on it. Not sure what it is or how to clean it. So I will leave that up to the high bidder to do as they wish. The shade is yellowed and a little dirty on the top edge. The seam is on the side, so if the spot won't come out, this could be put in the back. Because this shade is old and most likely brittle, we may ship it in its own box to protect it. This is a great antique abalone/ nautilus shell lamp with a carved dancer as well carvings around the shell rim. Beautiful opalescence in the light. And looks wonderful when lit. It is in good vintage condition although the shell bobbles because the screws that fasten it aren't tight enough. I don't want to touch it for fear of cracking the shell. Boch Freres Keramis became the foremost producer of art pottery in Belgium. This was at one time a motion lamp with clock. But the motion part is no more and it has been replaced with a metal diffuser. I added some velcro to the sides of the diffuser in the back so I could place some different colors of art glass behind it(shown in photos) and they would stay put. You can easily remove the diffuser and velcro, if you can find or have the original parts of the motion lamp. If you like it the way it is, I will include the 4 pieces of art glass. The Sessions clock does work and it keeps time(pics 8& 9) Wood platform and the metal are a little worn, but this lamp is so beautiful and rare, it's pretty easy to overlook those things. Awesome antique art deco fantasy figural table lamp 1920s* This is a really cool art deco era figural lamp which is 16 inches high. 6 1/2 inches wide at the base and 9 1/2 inches wide at the top opening. The lamp is quite heavy, weighing 9 lbs. The lamp has been rewired. It has a brass pull chain socket with a multicolor rhinestone and metal pull on the end of the chain. The three figures holding the lamp top look like swans with elongated lion paw feet. There are 42 strands of old fire polished crystal lustres which have had new brass bow tie pins added due to the old ones being corroded. The shade rings that hold the crystals are solid pierced brass. This was purchased from a very nice estate sale which featured many old lighting items. This is a working lamp, but since it is very old it should be checked over by a lighting/electrical specialist in order to insure it meets up to date safety codes and for your own well being. This authentic Steuben Globe Luminor is in superb vintage condition. There are no chips or other damage to the black glass square base. The original lamp parts are all there and it appears to have been rewired for safety. The crystal globe is in excellent condition with only two tiny eight of an inch chips at the bottom lip edge which is fitted into and hidden by the base. The globe is marked with the Steuben"fleur de lys" mark on the base bottom. Which I could not get a decent photo of. This will be a wonderful addition for the Steuben collector. Steuben Glass was founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It was the world's foremost artisan glass house. Steuben glass was hand made by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY. Because it was hand made. Each piece is unique. Steuben glass was frequently the United States’ gift of State to foreign dignitaries. This little beauty has 2pieces of slag glass in its construction. Quite by accident. I found out that it lights up under UV light, just like Vaseline glass! As I explained with the other lamp, this has been rewired and is absolutely authentic. I have looked up ones that are very similar or identical to these online at certain stores, and they sell for somewhere between five and seven hundred. Well, I am no store, so I set my bar a little lower. I love these things, but there is no room in a small place for them, I need to make some money. My best stuff is up for sale over this summer. Up for bid/sale is this set of 3 Art Deco Lamps. All lamps are in perfect working condition as you can tell from the pictures. All wiring is in perfect condition. The glass is perfect in all the lamps. No cracks. Stains, or chips in any of the glass or bases. The base of the two nightstand lamps seem to be made of some type of a softer metal, aluminum maybe? I'm not sure. I put these are post 1940 as there is no manufacture or dating on the base or glass of the lamps. For your consideration is this very unique and rare item resembling an apparatus that you'd find in an underground secret Frankenstein laboratory! It has been stored for at least 10 years. It features two large rings made of some kind of non-metallic high density fiber. Fiberglass, etc material. These upper and lower rings are approximately 12" in diameter and attached to them are 4 metal threaded rods. The upper ring has 4 Thumbscrews which secure and adjust 4 metal bolts/rods. The lower ring has a total of 16 of these unique thumbscrews and 4 of them also secure 4 more bolts/rods. Fantastic 1920's French Art Deco Bronze Sculpture"Nude with Parrot" Flame Lamp You are bidding on a fantastic 1920's vintage French Art Deco Bronze sculpture(what looks like Armand Godard style- but not signed than I can find) of a partially Nude woman sitting and holding her hands out for a large Parrot to rest on. The Bronze sculpture. Which is 6 inches high and 7 inches wide, sits on an ivory marble base 11.75 inches long by 4.75 inches wide and.75 inches thick with beveled edges around the slab. Near the end of the slab is a frosted glass structure 8 inches tall in the shape of a Flame. This Flame surrounds a small electrical brass base with three screws to tighten the glass flame globe in place. The fixture holds a C-7 or equivalent bulb. This truly wonderful piece is in very good to excellent condition with only very ... moreminor wear to the slab. The slab does have what looks like a drilled hole near the feet of the nude, but has been filled with a ceramic material and blends in very nicely when displayed. The frosted glass flame globe has 2 or 3 very small areas where the glass has chipped due to the tightening of the screws to hold the glass flame in place. The very minor chips are not visible when the flame globe sits in its base and are as the photos show, very tiny. This truly wonderful Art Deco piece would be the centerpiece of conversation in any room displayed, and would make a stunning gift for that special person. Attributed to Gerdago, this lamp is in good condition with some paint loss, as shown in the pictures. She has not been touched up or re-painted, but is shown in the condition as found. large ceiling lamp w/ shade Vintage Art Deco styling beige decor frosted 3 bulb
Beautiful art deco era frosted glass ceiling shade and lamp fixture. The fixture is plastic(middle portion) and it's all very dirty and surely needs re-wiring. It has a three bulb fixture. The top piece that attaches to the ceiling is 5-1/2" across and is metal. The fixture is 18" long. The shade measures 19" across. The design is done in a beige color and the trim accents are just clear glass. The rest is frosted glass. There is a nip out of the rim, but it's not sharp to the touch, very smooth and not really noticeable. The metal on the hanger is possibly brass, but it has paint smudges around the edge and the whole thing needs to be refreshed/painted to make it presentable. The plastic mid-section is very dirty- I don't know if this will end up clear after cleaning or not- it looks tan right now. The design is ... morejust perfect for the era- love it.
