This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's ... morestandard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. The lily pad base of the lamps were made of cast iron and thus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer pot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. The f igural part of the lamp appear s to be a cold painted bronze/brass type metal. The bird I believe is a Heron surrounded by flowing branches and foliage. Th ese shade is a crystal etched light cranberry pink. The fitting rim and top rim of the frill are smooth glass free from etching. The glass fount is so unusual. It appears like end- of- day glass with spatters of red and yellow over a clear-ish glass then a nice feature to notice is flecks of what appears to be real gold(possibly gold leaf? Definitely look to be pieces of gold coloured metal) I tried to show these in the image s. Rather than sitting in the shade ring the shade is a little smaller in diameter than the gallery fingers(I believe it wa s originally for a gas lamp) However. It sits perfectly central around the inner raised rim of the shade gallery so looks fine and suits the lamp well. It is all how it arrived so Left it that way. Dimensions; 23" tall to top of chimney. Shade is 6" across frill. 5" tall and has a fitting rim just under 2 1/2" Condition; shade is in excellent undamaged condition. Usual fleabites to rough-cut fitting rim, fount is free from damage, as it is hand-blown it is slightly irregular, metal base has what appears to be some(crude) restoration over the years but this is so small it doesn't really stand out until examined at close range, a leaf appears to be missing as there is solder where it may have once been re-applied, the feet of the stork appear to have been broken at some time and soldered back then painted over(looks a lot uglier in the images) unless you are looking you don't see(plus a lot of the leaves and things obscure them)

Degué A gorgeous french 1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze. A beautiful chandelier holding a rare model shades by Degué in frosted moulded-pressed glass. Degué. The company of David Guéron, opened their doors in 1926. Guéron employeed the ceramist and designer Cazaux as his artistic director and head designer. In 1936 production stopped and it finaly closed down in 1939. The slip shades of the chandelier on offer almost never come for sale. I havent seen any on the market since 20 years. Vintage Glass Chandelier Mid Century Modern Ceiling Light Fixture Art Deco Lamp
This ceiling light fixture has some old parts and some new. It's in great condition. The frosted glass shade has no chips or cracks, it measures 16 1/4" across and 4" deep, the amber/beige color is a little darker in the center with one discolored place that's only noticeable on the inside from the top. The gold colored ceiling canopy is 4 3/4" X 1" It must be hard wired in and mounted to a securely mounted ceiling box. It uses 2 candelabra bulbs. 9 watt bulbs were used in the photos and are not included.

The lamp has been rewired and has its original porcelain meteor brass pull chain socket with a fancy colored and cut glass beaded pull. The metal shade has a fancy pierced brass border with 39 strands of fire polished bohemian crystal lustres decorating it. The clock part doesn't run but can most likely be fixed. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. Stunning Art Deco Fulper 1920's Ballerina Lady Perfume Lamp - Frankart Era
Here is a stunning and elegant Art Deco Fluper ballerina lady figurine perfume lamp from San Francisco Estate. Made by Fulper Pottery Company. Flemington, New Jersey. Circa 1920's. She is exquisite! This wonderful deco lady has a light brown flapper hairdo, blue eyes, red lips, and rosey cheeks. She is wearing a pink and white ballerina outfit, and is in a seated position with head bent forward. This cool lamp is made of a pottery material with a matt finish. It has a beautiful golden glow when lit(see picture) The lamp is in two pieces- the lady figurine is the top part, and the lamp with perfume holder is the bottom part. 1920's Gerdago Art Deco Harlequin Dancer Pixie figural lamp. Please check out the pictures as they are part of the description. Generally in nice condition. Beautiful face. Nice patina on the metal and a good clean, unchipped marble base. One problem: A fairly tight crack in the metal in the ankle area. Still stable. There must be an internal support inside the ankle area. Very restorable by a craftsman who specializes in such repairs. Lamp stands 8.75" tall. No shade. Art Deco Desk Lamp Lithographed Wood-Grain Finish Beautiful Machine Age Lamp
The lamp holder has 1945 stamped on it. This 1940's american art deco fluorescent desk lamp has an original lithographed blonde wood grain finish. This lamp features a uniquely shaped shade bent to create a curved shield for a 14 watt fluorescent bulb. The stepped end caps with the original chrome finish have slightly tarnished with age. The shade is supported by two bent tubular steel arms and the canopy can swivel thanks to ball and socket joints. This lamp design is attributed to. And patented by Paul H. Irmisefaer. Bringing up the rear of the Art Deco era, this lamp would look right at home on the famous Hiawatha rail cars of the Milwaukee Road, it's that spectacular! The canopy is 15.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide. The base is 9 inches long by 5 inches wide and the lamp stands 10 inches tall. HTF vintage 1930s Art Deco Satin Consolidated Glass Lamp
Scroll down for more photos/ more views below description Great design 1930s/40s vintage art deco frosted-look satin glass lamp and shade from the Consolidated Glass Company. Wonderful classic deco design. Including the cool metal deco finial. This cute little boudoir/ vanity or desk lamp looks to me to have a slight blue hue to the glass, and has a blue wash paint to it, but much of this color is worn away. I don't know if the glass is truly blue or just a matter of perception due to its frosted satin look/ see the photos. Glass is easy to strip if you want to remove all the old paint. Stands about 13 inches tall at the peak, not counting the finial; the shade is close to 8" diameter at the bottom opening, and the lamp bottom is approx. 4.75 across the scalloped ridged base. Works fine, and looks nice for use and display; does have ... morea rough spots/ chips(see close views- a few chips on the bottom rim of the shade, some rough spots on the edges, wear and rough spots around the hole where it mounts to the lamp; some flake chips and fleabite on the triangle fin/ zipper" look design of the lamp itself, and one triangle that is missing an edge/part of the triangle, but does not feel rough so it may be a factory flaw or has been ground, but I note it here for your inspection in any case. Sold as it stands/please consult the photos. While it does have some imperfections, they do not stand out, and it would still look great in any home for a bedside or desk lamp/ cool example of classic art deco styling; note the ridges in both the lamp and echoed in the the lamp shaft. The cord, plug, and socket look sound/ work fine, but have not been inspected by a professional for safety as is recommended for all antique electrical appliances/ we leave this to the new owner. French Degue Studio Art Deco Lamp Base Circa 1925
Up for auction is an authentic Degue Studio Lamp Base as purchased in France in 2003. Regrettably the molded Degue shade has been damaged in a long distance move and this auction is for the base only. The certificate of authenticity is pictured. As supplied at the time of purchase. The lamp base is a very fine piece, intricate design and presents beautifully. The lamp was rewired in the USA with a period correct black fabric cord with on/off switch located on the cord- a black bakelite USA plug finishes the rewire and the lamp accepts a candelabra style bulb. Dimension of the base is 10" high and 11 1/2" high to the top of the socket. Shade max. dimension would be 9 3/4" wide with the base being 7 1/4" wide. A rare and beautiful circa 1920 French or Czechoslovakian glass nude fairy lamp with exceptional crystal glass beaded wing decoration. The lamp retains the original early 20th century fixtures and silk cord. The base is black glass. There is a small tight crack in the bottom of the base(see pics. The base of the frosted glass figure has a 1cm edge chip on the back behind the left foot(see pics. This chip is only seen from the back and is not distracting or unsightly. There appear to be five tiny red beads missing from her belt buckle. I have plugged in the lamp and it does function properly. Here is an unusual and attractive vintage ceiling light which features 5 arms with up-light cups plus a lower ribbed white glass section which looks to be Alacite- a type of glass used by Aladdin. The frame. Cups, and stem all have a copper finish to them and the ceiling piece is solid copper. There is a 3" glass ball in the stem. Rare style which would date to 1940's or so. The total light is about 21" tall by about 21" wide. Each cup is 6" wide and each arm is 8" long. This auction is for one of a matching set of 3. Made of cast iron with a bronze finish. Magnificent and rare Sphinx figural top would date this to the 1920 Egyptian Revival era with the discovery of King Tut's Tomb. Not marked but certainly made by a well known maker such as Bradley& Hubbard. Salem Brothers or Rainaud. Fine clean solid complete condition- the electrical cord and plug are old but still work(you may want to replace for safety) It came with the fine vintage shade shown and I will include it with the lamp. The glass shade has been replaced with a detailed etched glass shade from the period. The antique lantern is made of copper/brass and measures 6" tall by 4" in diameter. With the stand it measures about 24" high. For sale I have my unique Art Deco french antique lamp. This originally works by gas but for approx £15 you could have it re wired and converted to electric. On the makers label it says radiateur veritable no 299. I have never been able to find another one and I have had this for many years. A great decorative and superb conversation antique with age related wear. I have chosen never to polish it because it adds to the character of this unique lamp. Gilles& Schneider A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 French art deco wall sconces in nickeled bronze or solid brass holding Schneider shades in moulded pressed glass both are signed Schneider. High up, close to the hole for the socket. The sconces are 20 cm high(7-7/8" Depth 18 cm(7-1/16" I have cleaned the fixtures and protected them with an invisible layer against oxidation. The Original nickel plating shows some wear allowing the bronze to shine through. Nice colored patina of time and I felt no need to replate them. This model Schneider shade is always signed. But the signature is often almost impossible to read. The shades are in good condition. The sconces are rewired. They have new european E14 base sockets for which 220 volt bulbs will be added. You are bidding on a vintage Milk Glass opaque glass Ribbed Scalloped White Antique floor lamp or ceiling Shade circa 1930. In very good condition no damage at all it does have a light rust spot around fitter so it can't be seen when mounted and straw or factory marks. Has a 2 1/4" fitter it stands 5" tall by 7 1/8" long.
