Nice antique dresser lamp 20 inches tall. Base is 8 inches across. Old cord is cloth covered but not in the greatest condition. I have never worried about it, but someone else may. All lights up nicely including the base. the decal is all around and does show some cracking, but doesn't appear as if it is ready to fall off. Underneath says All-Lite fluorescent table lamp. Vtg Egyptian Revival TV Lamp Art Deco Marble Hand Carved Alabaster Works
For your consideration is this Old Marble or Alabaster Table or TV Lamp of Queen Nefertiti. The owner said her mother had it for many years. The only information I could find about it was that it was made in Egypt during the Art Deco or Egyptian Revival Period. And imported to the US. The lamp works. But it has what I'd consider very primitive wiring, and it should be rewired. I couldn't believe it when I found no socket inside. The wires are just soldered to the top and base of the bulb! I've taken close-ups so you can see everything well. The plug is an old one, but there is no cardboard insert inside to cover the screws. I also see a bit of the copper wire showing near the base. So it definitely needs rewiring before using for safety sake. I must say that the bust is beautiful when lit. The alabaster glows orange in places ... morewhich truly enhances the bust. There are some natural striations to the stone which also adds depth and interest. I don't see any chips. The top of her hat comes off to get at the bulb. There are two rusty pieces of metal in the top that fit inside tiny holes in the head. To keep it in place. The base was glued onto the bust at one time, so there's some dried glue on it. It will make the wiring easier to replace with the base separated. Our lamp measures 7 1/2" high x 3 1/4" wide x 4" deep. This will make a lovely accent piece in any room. Low starting bid and NR. Rare Antique Art Deco 1930's JESUS CHRIST ON WATER Motion Lamp from Estate
Rare 1930's Motion Lamp Very rare antique Art Deco 1930's"Christ on the Water No. 435G" motion lamp in a gold gesso covered wood frame. Motion lamp was made by the"N.L. E. Co. which stands for the"National Lamp& Electric Co. Motion lamps with biblical scenes are scarce and I have never ever seen one portraying Jesus! This beautiful old motion lamp was recently picked fresh from an estate and has been untouched. The only thing I have done is dusted it off with a damp rag. I plugged it in and the lamp works fine. The glass over the Jesus print has no damage. There is a small chip off the wood frame on the inside of the lamp that you can see in the 3rd picture above. The celluloid spinner has no cracks or breaks. When the lamp is plugged in and heats up. The water appears to have motion, and looks like there are ... morewaves moving under Jesus's feet towards the front of the lamp. I noticed a slot on the inside of the lamp which I am guessing might have once held an animation glass panel? I have never seen this particular lamp before so I am unsure if there originally was such a glass panel in the slot but if there was, it is now missing. The waves of the water appear to move nicely without the lamp having a panel. I am also unsure if the lamp originally had a silk covered wire? This one has a rubber covered wire and I do not see any evidence of it ever being replaced. The on/off switch on the side of the lamp works good. There is a US $5 bill in the pics to give you an idea of size. I have other vintage items listed. Please note: lot came from a smoker's estate if you have allergies. Very nice condition with minor wear.gold gesso covered wood frame has some scuffs along the edges.metal back has some scratches and wear in spots to the old grey paint.there is a slot on the inside of the lamp that may have had a second glass panel for animation? if there was an animation glass. Antique Art Deco Faceted Stacked Solid Glass Lamp Pair with Glass Finials
This pair of solid faceted glass mid century modern art deco lamps have solid glass finials and are 23 1/2 inches high at the top of the finial. And the solid glass bases are 5 inches square. They work, and it appears that one lamp was rewired some time ago, as the cords are different, one still has the original cord with bakelite plug which is broken on the end, see photo) but still can be plugged in& it works, but can be re-wired easily(I have rewired many a lamp myself) Also, it can possibly be glued back together, as the two pieces fit easily together and nothing is missing. Whether the vase was fabricated this way or whether the hole was executed later, I don't know. As neat as it is, it would appear to have been accomplished at the factory. In any case, I've plugged the hole with some silicone to use the vase to hold water and flowers, which is does quite nicely without leaking. Push the silicone out and in two seconds you have your lamp-cord exit back again. Circa 1935-1955- Genuine Star-burst light pattern Assumed Lightolier- Flush Mount fixture(See other listing for smaller"sister" fixture) Frosted Glass- Pattern along rim 10" Glass. With fixture 5" deep and 10.5" wide. Suitable for damp locations- Bathrooms. Outdoors We selected this mid century modern lamp for restoration due to certain design elements that made it stand out. First was the frosted glass which features a pattern on the upper rim which causes the light to escape creating a pattern on the ceiling. A vintage art deco lamp with the original amber satin glass shade. Has been recently rewired and in good working condition. Dates to the 1930’s. The silverplate base has not been polished. Leaving the natural patina present. Measures a full 10 1/4 inches tall. The original glass shade measures 1 full 5 1/2 inches tall with a 3 1/4 inch fitter collar. The base measures 5 1/4 inches tall and 3 7/8 inch base. Condition with both pieces is excellent as there are NO chips. Cracks, scratches, internal staining, crazing or repairs present. A lovely vintage table or desk lamp. With a nice glass shade, as shown. the lamp, itself, measures 22" in total height, with the shade measuring 7" in height. The base measures 5& 1/2" in diameter. The lamp's fittings are made from solid brass, although the base, which has some nice age wear, looks to be plated. The shade is made of a nice pink swirled glass and is very attractive. The lamp's design is very unusual and I don't think you're likely to see another one like this. The lamp's base base one small dent and the shade has a few small edge chips but these can't be seen as they are obscured by the rim of it's mount. The lamp base originally had a"banker styled" shade and I tried to find one for over a year but added the slag/stained glass shade instead. The lamp has been rewired with a new switch and has a period socket. The bookends are matching with one repair on one of the horse's ears. The pieces are marked. There are no bottom covers but they could be easily added. This set makes a striking statement for those of us who love Frankart pieces, the art deco era and the equestrian motif. HETTIER& VINCENT MULLER FRERES An exceptional very rare and authentic french art deco lamp in wrought iron. The Hettier& Vincent base holds a precious cameo shade in coloured glass produced by Muller freres. Hettier& Vincent was a famous french lighting company. Wholesale and retailer with its shop at the prestigeous and beautiful Place de Vosges in Paris. On page 7 of the H&V general catalogue a range of wrought iron lamps was presented with luxerious shades by Gallé Muller freres and André Delatte. H&V also sometimes used Daum shades for their top pieces. These lamps from the early 30ies show the transition from art nouveau to art deco and are nowadays wanted collector items making high prices at auctionhouses. The lamp can be dated around 1922-25. By that date the famous Muller freres glass company issued ... morea serial of cameo shades and vases showing lakes and trees in deep-marroon on a yellow-orange background. The images were created by acid engraving the upper dark brown layer and then polishing the orange layer underneath. The orange layer itself has a mottled brown structure in the lower part of the shade which vaguely shines through and attributes to the decoration giving it a subtle depth. Only top glass manufactories during the interbellum like Gallé Daum and Muller were capable of producing glasses of this quality. Here below I add some pictures of my HV catalogue(catalogue general planche 7) representing the lamp under#5925. The catalogue is no part of the sale. The lamp is 35.4 cm high. It's in excellent condition. One unimportant tiny flake to the rim. The lamp is rewired with new cloth covered twisted cord and has its old european E14 candelabra-base socket. A bulb will be added. I will rewire the light with US candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug for the US. Canada or Japan. I can also wire for Australia or the UK and place a B22/BC cap bayonet socket. For sale is this very neat 1920's Art Deco industrial era hanging lamp! It is made of aluminum. All original and very neat! Comes with a bulb adapter so you can used modern bulbs. I bought this from a man who ran a photography studio and had these hanging in his studio. The lamps still retains it's original manufacture sticker that reads Alzak Aluminum Reflector and the other reads Union Made. These are the real deal! This auction is for 1 hanging lamp, but if interested I have 9. The largest ring measures 19in across and the hanging rod measures 25in. I have seen people cut the rod down for lower ceilings and it looks real neat. Has original wires, they worked for the last owner but I'd recommend re wiring! Vintage Art Deco Venetian-style metal lamp shades(SHADES ONLY) Very durable metal(not a thin metal like typical venetian shades) Hard To Find Smaller Size Shades(9 inches at bottom of shade& 7 inches in height) shades are a very Pale Pink, some fading to paint and scratches to paint on one shade, no dings& no dents, have never seen another pair like these, each layer of shade is suspended with silver beaded chain, not with original finials but will proved the blush/chrome cubes until you find replacement finials, these shades are typically topped with a marble& brass styled finial. VINTAGE ART DECO TABLE LAMP- CHINESE FIGURINES- CERAMIC Up for sale this art deco vintage figural table lamp- with two chinese figurines. A boy and a girl sitting on a rectangle base, which is kind of a bowl and in the center, the green metal, cone shaped lamp shade. The figurines need to be repainted to show the details of their faces and attire which is peeling. The lamp base is approx. 13" by 3-3/4" and the whole piece is 10-3/4" tall. Vintage Art Deco Alabaster Marble Stone Mantle Torchiere Lamp Garniture Set Please read description below and. Included In Auction: Vintage Art Deco Alabaster Marble Mantle Torchiere Lamp Garniture Set I think these are made of alabaster and am selling them as such but they may me marble or another stone. Please be your own expert if you know more than I. Lights work(see photos) I am guessing that these are from the 1930s or 1940s, Dimensions Total Height: 8.5" Base: 4.25" Diameter, Globe: Height 6" x Width 3.5" Cord Lengths: One is 8 foot& other is 12 foot long. I am guessing this is meant for using on either side of a bed or mantle and both being plugged into the same outlet on one side. I can't find a name or makers mark so I am unsure which designer produced these. I actually haven't been able to find another ... moreexample of these anywhere. So I think these are pretty rare. Nice warm glow. They almost look like glowing mushrooms. Bases have a notch in them to allow the lamps to sit flat, Each globe has 3 vents/holes near the point which I believe allows heat to dissipate, This requires the smaller size bulb base. I do not see any cracks or cracking. There are some surface scratches- some a little deeper than others. You may be able to buff them all out. A light rubbing of oil may help with the scratches as well. I'll let the new owner work their magic. The tooth/fringe at the bottom does have some chipped ends. Base has some scratches, The pieces fit together a little loose right now. There are nuts that can be tightened at the base of the bulb. Sold as is. In used condition. No warranty. This listing is for a vintage Art Deco. Retro headboard bed reading night light. The light is adjustable up and down with the bracket. The light has slotted holes on the bracket so it can be mounted if you wish. The light measures about 12" x 4 1/4" and has about a 68" cord attached. The hooks on the back have about a one inch separation at the bottom.and can expand some. This light does work! This is a nice lamp from a nice estate. Thanks for looking!
