French Art Deco Chandelier lamp c1920 Bronze, Pate de verre, ex- Chateau France
Instantly recognisable as early French Art Deco. In nickel plated bronze with pate de verre shades, this beautifully detailed 4-light chandelier is enchanting and imposing, without being too large for pratical use. From the tip of the central, geometric pressed, frosted pate de verre shade to the detailed ceiling fitting is aprox 31" 80cms) And from the edge of one of the three pate de verre tulipes. Across the chandelier it is aprox 15" 40cms) Meaning that although this once hung in a grand chateau it doesn't need such a vast space to be enjoyed. The detailing to the three arms supporting the outer lights is particulary impressive. Representing feathers and their elevated angle suggesting wings in flight- quite engaging once hung high above. The wiring(which functions but may need updating) is hidden inside the three hexagonal ... morerods which run from the ornate ceiling rose to the main body. In very good condition. Up for auction is one neat industrial looking retro floor lamp and hair dryer. You can use this as an adjustible floor lamp. It has one light bulb already in it although its untested. I dont have a small bulb to fit. Its a regular lamp base bulgb though. The fan and dryer work fine. You can get creative and add a center light bulb and use it stricly as industrial lighting. Its mostly aluminum and has a great deco shape. I know not too many people will use it as a dryer but oh what a floor lamp it can be with a little creativity. Removing& replacing the kerosene/oil font when filling or for cleaning often lead to the glass being chipped at the top rim- there is'1' L. 1/4" x W. 1/8" chip with'2' flea minute chips around the top rim. Notice the contrasting band of dark green around the edge of the base. It's painted on the outside while the vase color is fired on the inside of the glass, with'6' small feet instead of the'3' common to the Venetian Vase lamp. Lamp comes with a B& H font/burner, brass filler cap, shade ring and a beautiful matching glass ribbed shade with pink rose with floral leaves. MARKS: On burner ~'B& H' CONDITION: USED. Very Good to Excellent. Considering age& use. With'2' flea minute chips& 1' L. 1/4" x W. 1/8" chip around the top rim. Bubbles in the glass vase, a manufacture flaw at the base( L. 3/8" x W. 1/8" pictured) a minor chip underneath the base(pictured) does not distract or mar it's beauty. Offering a wonderful. Antique figural lamp by Gerda Gerdago. This wonderful art deco lamp is in the figure of a harlequin danger kicking a ball and is in the rare chartreuse color with an ivorine face. The globe is the original Millefiori 4 1/4" shade. The Italian marble base measures 7.5" x 3.25" and the dancer stands 8.5" tall. The all parts are in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the globe as well as the lamp. All parts are in strong condition. It could use a good cleaning, but otherwise it is great working order. The cord is also in great condition! The lamp was produced at the Grapeville. Pennsylvania factory as part of their"Shell Dolphin" line which was introduced in the 1920's. The figural dolphin stem was inspired by Boston& Sandwich designs from the mid 19th century. The"No. 1049/ 1 Dolphin Lamp" is well executed with crisp mold and nice detail to the dolphin's head features, scaled body and tail fins. The piece is done in Westmoreland's desirable 1920's blue shade which shows bright color. The lamp measures 9 ¼" high, 4" wide at the base and 3 ¾" at the shoulder. This item offered is a fabulous Art Deco skyscraper ceiling light fixture that was make into a table lamp. Wow what a great piece the globe sits it original light fixture. Measures a large 9"tall with a diameter of about 10"wide. There are no chips or cracks in the shade that I can see someone put some tape on the edges of the globe but don’t see any indentations to indicate any chips. I can’t figure how to get the globe out of the fixture to clean. The shade is a little dusty on the inside.as we will leave the cleaning up to the buyer. This is a 1940's Art Deco bed lamp that works but the wire is dry rotted and separated and I would want to replace the wire. It is metal and has a brass color flower and loop hook detail. But just a plain metal, not brass. It does have some scars and wear, see pictures. It has felt backed loops that hook on the bed, but has loosened over the years. Modelled as a scantily clad dancing girl holding aloft the light fitting and standing on as stepped base. She stands 15.25" high to the top of the fitting and the base is 4" square. There is some wear to the silvering on the plinth and her legs but overall I would say she's in pretty good shape for her age and ready to light up someone's life! Vintage Chrome Mid Century Art Deco Industrial Jewlers Lamp Antique
The coolest lamp ever. Manufactured by Apollo Electric Co. sometime between the 1920's-1950's. My reasearch has turned up other lamps from the same company but nothing quite like this one. A heavy duty cast iron base beneath the chrome base. The lamp pivots 360 around the central stem and the shade with a ball and socket joint. It stands 21" tall. It is 10 1/2" at base and shade diameter. The polished chrome table lamp retains the original full size interior glass shade used to greatly enhance or intensify the light source. Appears to have original switch(which works correctly) and cord(has been patched) The finish has a few specks of oxidation but they are hardly noticeable. Light scratching on base from use. Aug Moreau Signed Art Deco Woman Figural Lamp
Aug Moreau Signed Art Deco Woman Figural Lamp As seen in our pictures below. We have a Art Deco figural lady lamp, that is signed on the back by Aug Moreau, and has a plate attached to the marble base, that says FLORE par Aug. Moreau. This lamp has the bronze lacquering worn off, and the base metal can be seen through this. It has what we will call a corrosion patina, like it was weathered, and a couple of leaves at the top are broken off. There is an old cloth electrical cord with a good plastic plug. With solid wiring, and will take a small bulb in the socket. We didn’t try it out, but looks like it will still work. The marble base is in great shape with no chips or cracks. It measures 14 inches tall. The lady is 8½ inches tall, and will still make a nice addition to some table or collection. Shipping options can be found under shipping ... moretab to your location. Here we have a very collectable and sought after Art Deco signed Max Le Verrier heavy spelter Lamp for restoration. Weight- 2.2 Kg Height- Approximately 19 cm Condition The figure is in good condition apart from the two thumbs on her hands are broken off and she has slight scuffing to one knee( see photo of hands) The original paintwork is very good with no marking apart from her scuffed knee. It is missing one panel that can be easily replace. It's a 6 panel lamp. The panels are tinted and have some chipping on the corners but its not noticeble when in place. The electrical candles flicker for a real candle effect. Also, it has a switch on the bottom to turn on and off and it has an extra long cord.
