Here is an antique four-shade hanging ceiling light fixture made of brass with soldered seams/ joints from the 1920's or 30's. With 4 etched green glass shades. About 26" tall, and includes the top brass plate to hide the electrical junction box. In good condition, the brass has not been touched or cleaned and has the uniform tarnish of 80- 90 year old brass. The green glass shades are 5-1/5" high with 4-1/4" dia bottoms, with an etched pattern(all 4 shades the same) and note that all have some small chips and one shade has a crack from top to bottom. The 4 bulb sockets are original and have mica insulation washers that I tried to show in photos. Please note that this may well need rewiring, has the original cloth-covered wire, and some of the set-screws to hold shades in holders are missing. This listing is for VINTAGE(2) ART DECO MID CENTURY MODERN WALL LAMP SCONCES w/ FROSTED DEVO SHADES purchased in the 1970's. They are both really pretty units with real. Frosted Glass design shades. The heavy glass shades measure 7" across and appox 5" high with alternating bands of clear and frosted glass. The wall units are made of painted metal. The pots where the light bulbs go measure 4 1/2" high x 2" across with frosted plugs at the bottom of each one. The back of the unit. Where it connects to the wall, measures 5" across. There are some scuffs in the white paint, as the pictures show, but there are no dents or gouges in the metal. It would be easy to hit them with another coat of paint to hide them. MOE LIGHT COMPANY INDUSTRIAL ART DECO DESK LAMP
This is a beautiful antique lamp with elegant art deco lines and brass decorations. It has been very well taken care of and shines brightly. The only imperfections are very minor and are shown in the pictures. This was owned by the same lady since she bought it new and I bought it from her estate. You can see the name of one of her sons scratched in the base. The letters are less than 1/8" high so you can only see it up close. I love that it adds character to the lamp. It tells me that kids did homework by it many years ago. It is a DOUBLE LAMP so it's larger than others here on Ebay. It is well worth my buy it now price. It's about 20" wide at the top and about 12" high.

Up for sale is this great Art Deco night light with a glass owl. It looks like it runs on batteries. I have not tested it, so I'm selling it unt ested. As you can see in the pictures there are areas with some light surface rust on the metal areas. The Owl looks to be in very good condition. Besides the paint on the eyes. I haven't cleaned it because I don't want to mess up his great piece of history. As seen in the pictures it has PIF Co. printed on the bottom of it, looks like an old light bulb is still in it. like I said untesed, so I don't know if the bulb is good or not. For your Consideration. I have here An Amazingly Gorgeous Cast Iron Victorian/Asian Style Art Deco Lamp. This lamp stands 37 1/2" tall from bottom to tip of finial. It appears to be some sort of cast iron or cast bronze. The shade appears to be made of persian wool. Up around where you put the light bulb in appears to be wood and as you can see there is a couple of chips in it not bad hardly noticeable. From my personal collection is this stunning, elegant, fully restored, LARGE, Art Deco/Nouveau Chandelier, circa 1930's. It has been professionally restored to its original grandeur and is in like new, mint condition. It features 5 brand new, glazed porcelain sockets, all antique glass and a beautiful, amber and clear glass shade. It hangs approx. 35 1/2" and is 15 1/4" wide. Adjustable between 26" and 35 1/2" Details: Antique glass shade: Shade is in mint condition and has heavily molded out leaf type pattern. Very visually interesting with lots of depth. No chips, cracks, fleabites or stains. Color is a medium amber. I do think that the pictures I was able to take show it ... morea bit lighter than it actually is. It's over 15" wide and it's quite heavy and thick. This is a warm color that goes with any color scheme. I have taken pictures both lit and unlit so you can see how beautiful it looks both ways! Rewired with period correct gold. Cloth covered wire. 5 beautiful. Brand new glazed porcelain sockets, each holding up to 60 watt bulb. There is plenty of room to use normal size light bulbs with a standard base, but used the fat based candle shaped bulbs in my pictures. Great use of semi-indirect lighting, and also lights up a room very well with all that wattage! Antique glass parts: The column and the glass at the ceiling are thick. Heavy antique glass, quite massive, and matches the rest of the fixture in proportion. Absolutely no cracks or chips. The metal parts: The metal parts just above and below the glass column pieces are. I believe, pot metal, which is zinc. This was very commonly used instead of brass in the early 1900's because it didn't rust, was less expensive than brass, and could be finished beautifully. Very nice condition and sturdy. Really cool design. I've not seen another like this. Torchiere type with diffuser globe and has a larger than normal bulb socket and 3 way switch. There will be a bulb included. Sort of a modern or mid century design. Very lean. Shade is nice too. There is an F on the turn switch but no markings. I received this as payment for some painting work from a customer who bought it new a long time ago new, and told me it was a Stiffel. Everything works great and looks great with usual normal wear. Shade is i ncluded and is in pretty good shape overall. Has nice finial attacked to shade. 3 way switch works great too with no issues. Has been very well cared for. Bertie Butorac chalkware lamp This is a fabulous mid century chalkware piece from Bertie Butorac. This lamp features an elegant woman dressed in an aqua green and gold dress. She has black flowing hair and holds a bouquet of roses. This is in much better condition than any others that I have seen. Her dress color is fantastic as well. This piece is marked on the back with Bertie Butorac#1105 and the date 1952. There is crazing that is most visible on her skin. Given that its a light paint color. I have not found any chips. There is a some paint loss on the bouquet of flowers and at the edge of her dress. The original lamp components for this were removed. There are no lighting parts included. Up for auction is this rare antique art deco bullet shaped machine age cobalt blue glass and chrome decorative lighthouse with sailing ship nautical boudour lamp aesthetic c. 1930's. The base has a sailing ship that slides onto a chrome mast pole that is attached to the frame of the lamp base. Cobalt blue glass inserts are ribbed and are see thru glass. VTG Mid Century Modern 70's Art Deco Majestic Atomic Space Age Table Lamp Clean
For your consideration: A huge. Extremely clean table lamp. There are a number of reasons it appears to be from the 70's(one example is the second to the last pic- the plug) and has that kitsch vibe that was personified by the Majestic Lamp Company. However, I believe they sold the company in 1963 to a larger manufacturer. Who knows if they continued to produce lamps in the 1970's with that signature Majestic aesthetic. The lamp stands a whopping 36" The base alone is 10" in diameter and over 1 1/2" high. This is one. Big table lamp. A lamp with the size and design that will really make a statement in any mid century environment. As you can see in the pics. It can be lit at the top, the bottom, or both. The glass shades are good(no chips or cracks) The metal is good(no pitting, rust, or discoloration on either the stainless ... moreor the chrome) And the black finish on the wood is good(no paint loss, but if you look at the last pic you'll some paint bubbles- probably from sunlight- on the top of the base) Because of the lamp's size and extreme design. This lovely antique displays an art glass fitter shade 5.5" Long at it's Widest. Art glass fitter shade done in an Aurene Oil Spot Finish with lovely Textured draping in the glass. The end portion that fits into lamp is 2.25" wide. The metal portion measures 8" tall at wall mount and extends outward 7.75" This has a crack in the glass which can be placed more to the rear. But still shows on the side view of the lamp. Glows a lovely amber color as shown in photos. Would keep it myself but I don't have any sconce outlets!
