RARE UNUSUAL ART DECO ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SLAG GLASS BRASS PENDANT LIGHT LAMP
Fabulous. Unusual and rare, beautiful art deco slag glass egg or bullet shaped pendant hanging lamp or light in good condition. The slag glass is encased in a lovely architectural designed framework probably made of brass with a fantastic patina! A magnet does not stick to any part of this light except the rod connecting the chain to the ceiling cover. Even the ceiling dome or cover does not attract a magnet. The total length of this light from ceiling cover to pointed finial is 29" while the length of the bullet itself is 16 1/2" from the finial to the ring attached on the bottom. The circumference around the largest center part of the light is 26 1/2" The light opens on a hinge to expose the socket for a light bulb. The old cloth wiring is not good so I could not try this light to see if it works but I have no reason to think ... morethat it does not. There is corrosion on the chain and inside the dome ceiling cover but no damage to the lovely caramel colored slag glass inserts. This is a heavy piece and will require extra padding and packing to insure it's safe delivery but I always refund any overages for shipping. Insurance will be required by the buyer. Don't let this wonderful piece of lighting history get away from you!

Vintage Art Deco Mid Century Retro Tulip Iridescent Crystal Prism Lamp Light 44"
STUNNING vintage art deco/mid century retro ornate and unusual cast metal tulip lamp with iridescent crystal prisms/stones. This was a great estate find! This is a very unique piece. I have not seen anything else like this! As you can see, it's tested and working wonderfully. It has a very cool light switch that controls the top light, it is on the socket and you pull it down and it clicks off and on. It measures 44" tall to the top of the finial and 35" to the top of the bulb. The round bottom is 8 1/2" across. It's 13" to the top of the flat portion of the first three lights. It measures about 6 1/4" across the flat middle portion. The tulip shade is 7 1/2" tall by about 10" across. Great piece to display in your home! Thanks for looking!

This beautiful lamp measures 18 inches high to the top of the finial. And about 7 inches across. I can find no signature/makers mark on it. The surfaces have a lovely warm tone to them, that almost seem to glow. Condition: Most of the paint has come off the finial; it should be re-wired; there is scattered verdigris toning to the gold gilt. With overall patination, and one finds a few small scratches to the patina on the copper gilt, stylized, snail-like, feet. The metal parts show typical age toning. with light scattered surface oxidization. There are no chips or cracks. The interior clay appears to be a kind of heavy yellow ware. There is no shade. Up for auction is a unique Art Deco Electric Lamp purchased at an estate sale. Two musicians seated on either side of the globe. It measures about 12" long x 8" tall and 5" deep. This graceful nude holds aloft the globe lamp. Moulded in glass as a stylised Lotus flower, again showing the eastern influence. All is in lovely original condition, with virtually no loss to the cold-painted gilded finish. The figure is seperatly cast& screw-bolted to the heavy alabaster-stone stand, which has the usual minor age-related nibbling-bruising to some edges, with the lamp wiring running through a matching cold-painted spelter-support to the rear of the nude. The lamp itself takes a standard-fitting bayonet bulb, which works fine and has at some time been re-wired and earthed. But as with all old electrical items, it should be tested and checked by a qualified electrician before prolonged use. The moulded milk-glass'Lotus-Flower' shade is free from any cracks or chips and diffuses the light beautifully. This stylish period lamp is an impressive 530mm's tall. Vintage ceiling shade lamp light milk white regency retro art deco huge
this is a very large(11"long x 11" wide) And very heavy(10 lbs) shade. the shade tapers from the 11" width to 5 1/4" end. the glass is thick! it has 3 holes for the shade to hang by or to attach to more light/electrical fittings. there is a substantial lip on the rim that MIGHT be used to hold the shade with screws to a fixture(the weight would require careful consideration of this) the design is georgeous. I can imagine it in a 30's mansion. It would be stunning in an entrance or long hallway. the design is deeply incised into the glass(the glass has to be thick for this depth) I sprinkled pink chalk into the design so that it would show better. My photo skills are not nearly good enough to do the piece justice. the white glass is pressed. a 1/2" band of gold paint is at the rim. there is a tiny amount of this ... morepaint in the crease of the end/medallion and the side. I don't know if this is original or was added thru the years. I have several shades. Some unusual listed, from small to VERY large and heavy, now. Most are from the 30-50's I think. I have a hard time dating them. they are in very good condition but since they are old there usually is some appropriate wear or paint specks. please look at the pictures and ask your questions before bidding. This beautiful bronze lamp base. Nude Woman with Flowers” is an exquisite sculpture, and represents a fine example of Art Nouveau“Femmes-Fleur” motif, a woman metamorphosing from the blossom of a plant. She has leaves and flowers extending from her raised arms, forming a shade above her and an elegantly sculpted face depicted by a master artist. Her figure is reminiscent of Frankart sculptures of that era. The foot of the lamp base depicts another traditional Art Nouveau motif. The entire sculpture is finished in a classic rich bronze patina. The sculpture is signed by Jules Jouant. A French sculptor, who was renowned for his portrait busts of music composers. He lived from 1882 to 1921, which dates this sculpture to that time period. Jules Jouants’ works have most recently been seen for sale at Sotheby’s. Art Nouveau Deco Cast Bronze Boudoir Dresser Nightstand Lamp w/ Trinket/Pin Tray
This reproduction Art Nouveau boudoir dresser nightstand light is very well made from cast bronze. It has a pin/trinket tray in the footed base. The shade is off white lace with fringe around the bottom. The lamp uses a night light bulb(not included) or any bulb with a small socket fitting up to 25W. The lamp measures between 8.5"10" tall with the shade in place. Depending on which type bulb is used. The base is 5.5"x8.5" and has a molded tray for holding trinkets. It has a switch on the cord as shown in the picture. This lamp was purchased at J.C. Penney in the 1990's and was used only in a guest room, so mainly was just displayed. It still has the J.C. Penny tag on the bottom as shown. What looks like scratching in the tray are actually manufacturing marks and they are not nearly as bad as they look in the photos. ... moreThey are barely visible. It is a very nice decorating item for an Art Nouveau or Art Deco decor. We are downsizing and will be adding more items. So please check back.

Rougier "Bird of Paradise" Art Deco Mid-Century Modern Lamp
This genuine Rougier lamp is a whimsical accent anywhere in your home. The brass trim on the base is in very good condition with some slight tarnishing. The lowest"feather" is cracked and can be moved where it attaches to the base. But you can't see that when the lamp is in place, either lit or unlit. Bird of Paradise" lamp was designed by the famed Canadian firm Rougier of fan shaped shell design. This lamp was seen in the 1992 film Good Fellows. Produced of pearlescent acrylic and solid brass. Signed to the base, 20" H x 17" W, circa 1970's to 1980s. One like this. Without the damaged lowest"feather" sold at auction for $600 in November, 2012.

This satiny glass lamp in beautiful shades of yellows. Oranges and reds looks like a gorgeous sunrise/sunset when illuiminated. The base alone can be lit or the combination of the base and shade together may be on. Both the base and shade are signed Le Verre Francais followed by the Lorraine Cross. The plug and switch are original while the frayed silk cord looks newer. As these were handmade, each have their own patterns. A screw type joint on its top end to adjust the vertical angle of the lampshade The lamps are in very good original condition. Rare Art Deco Bronzed Spelter 'Seated Nude' Beehive Lamp, by Nuart, c.1928
A Rare American. Bronzed Spelter, Seated Nude' Odeon Style Lamp, with it's Original Iridescent Amber-Glass'Beehive' Shade, circa 1928. This period Art Deco lamp. Is cast in cold-painted bronzed spelter, with a balancing seated nude, drawn by the light of the'beehive' iridescent glass shade. This nude is modeled to look like the many screen goddess' of the 1920-30's, with an Odeon style architectural feel to her sculpting and the lamp base, typical of Nuart& Frankart designs of the period. These foundries paved the way in the United States for the new'moderne look' of the Art Deco Period, with their sleek stylised appearance, where the models were incorporated as part of the overall design, almost like the caryatids of the ancient world temples. She appears quite elfin-like, similar to models used ... moreby Lorenzl, as she balances cheekily on the classical plynth seat. The spelter base has a strong geometric feel, which is echoed in the shape of the rare original amber-glass'beehive' shade. Overall it has a nice aged bronze-patina, adding to the character of the piece and is free from any major damage. The iridescent-glass shade is also in excellent condition and has a lovely warm glow when alight. The lamp itself takes a standard screw-bulb, which works fine, and retains vintage wiring. But as with all old electrical items, it should be tested and checked by a qualified electrician before prolonged use. The original rotary'on/off' switch is located to the rear of the shade gallery& still works fine for ease of use. This period lamp is 180mm's tall. By 200mm's long and 115mm's deep, and quite weighty for it's size. The glass shade slots into the rounded raised gallery on the base. All pieces are very well wrapped& packed individually in strong boxes to secure safety in transit. And are sent recorded parcel post.
