And the reverse painted glass shade wonderfully compliment the colors of the lamp. The lamp is significantly heavy and weighs over 15 pounds. The height of the lamp is 57+3/4 inches. The lamp base is 9+3/4 inches square. Because most of the weight is at the bottom the lamp has a low center of gravity resulting in very nice balance. Recommended placement of the lamp is on a hard surface floor or possibly on a very low-pile rug over a hard surface floor. The lamp like many(usually most) similar bridge lamps will not set well on carpeting with padding. Bridge lamps placed on carpeting have a tendency to lean slightly. Since the lamp is heavy it might work on carpeting but it is my personal recommendation not to use the lamp placed on carpeting. Working Art Deco Sleek Mid Century Green Panther Clock And Double Lamp Awesome Working vintage mid century art deco green panther clock and lamp with double lights. I am not sure what company made the lamp clock. Clock works and keeps time but has a low clicking sound to it~~~ It probably needs to be cleaned out it has been in storage. The main light socket on the top works as does the socket on the back of the lamp. Lamp can be used as a light or TV lamp and clock. It measures 13" long. 14 1/2" tall including the socket and about 5" 6" wide. Top metal piece that holds the shade is rusted but can be changed out. Metal piece on the back behind the clock has rust also. The gold metal around the clock has wear, clock face and glass are clean. Cord is grimy but will clean up. Cast in cold-painted spelter and attributed to Molins Ballestte, all mounted on an impressive tiered Rouge-Marble Striated-Base, created circa 1930. This period lamp. Is cast in cold-painted spelter with various hues of silvers. Golds and dark browns to the figure, and similar colours to the brass dragonfly firmly-attached to the glass-globe shade beside her. This impressively large French Art Deco sculptural lamp. Depicts a lady reclining on the rouge-marble base barefoot, wearing a classical diaphonous-like dress, almost as a second skin, as she carefully reaches out to catch the delicate dragonfly that has landed on the sun like glass globe beside her. All is in amazing condition for the pieces age. This particular lamp has a lovely'Pate de Verre' Shade in the'Champignon' or Mushroom shape. Created in France using the same techniques as Daum Nancy Glass, at the same time during the early 20th century. The base and pendant fitting is what sets this lamp apart, as an early table lamp. Where the shade is suspended in a large geometric Art Deco brass or bronze'Ovoid Gate' through which the elephant strides through ceremoniously. 1930's Vintage Art Specialty Co. Chicago Art Deco Water Fountain Cast iron Clawed Feet lamp. Handsome Art Deco Water Fountain Shade lamp. The frosted glass shade ridged and molded to resemble flowing water cascading into a three tier gradation. The 5 1/2" long- 3 1/2" diameter frosted Shade is embossed with"ART SPEC CHICAGO 32056" on the inside. The claw footed cast iron base has some paint loss on it along with wear from age and usage but overall patina is excellent. No rust any where. Combined height of the lamp with shade is 13 1/4 inches. Cord is excellent however I will recommend a change of the plug. The bulb socket seems to have a very light lean to it that can be straightened by a professional or just leave it like that for chracter. Please see all the pictures. The twirly yellow bulb seems pretty old and antique ... morelooking but I do not know if it is original to the lamp but it makes it look cool. Beautiful lamp in safe working condition. THE MILLER COMPANY EARLY 1900s BRASS DOUBLE BULB LAMP WITH ORIGINAL SHADE FRAME! Beautifully articulated small brass lamp with original shade frame that has been recovered in silk and lace. Brass finial seems to be original and if so is worth something on its own as a replacement part. Appears to be Empire style with two pull-chain bulbs that have candle cover bases. Also original. Lamp is fairly weighty for its size, nice sturdy piece. The Miller Lamp Company is comparable to Bradley, Hubbard, and Handel, started in the late ... more1800s to produce quality and innovative stylish lamps until the early 1900s. Bottom of base is marked Miller 1134, shade frame also is imprinted with the Miller name. Lamp was found at a local flea market 15 years ago covered in lavender paint and the fabric on the shade was torn beyond repair. At that time we gently flaked off most of the paint and repaired the shade with lace on the outside and silk inside, all hand sewn but not like the original and not professionally done, but looks acceptable. Some bits of the paint remain here and there mainly where it is not particularly visible, easy to remove with the help of paint remover but remains to be done, could not be scraped for fear of scratching the brass surface, which has been carefully preserved. The bulbs in place are the smallest wattage we could find to help keep the silk shade from deteriorating, but larger new energy saving bulbs can probably provide more light without heat today. Candle type bases for the bulbs are slightly worn and chipped. Vintage Art Deco Sconce lamp pair 1920's VERY nice slip-on shade
This is a very nice original 1920's era Art Deco Sconce set.a pair of two.The mfg is unknown to me and is stamped on the back of each aluminum frame"TWH" surrounded by a diamond(see photo)I have tested each and the both work. But old wiring is old wiring!the slip-on shades are in beautiful shape with no damage noted.These measure approx 9 1/4" tall x 6 1/2" wide(at top)electrical parts are Paulding.Good Luck!

Pair antique Vintage French 20" figural lamp statue art nouveau Deco light swiss
A pair of mid century chalkware figulral table lamps. The patina is golen/bronz and in a very good shape. They are 20 inches tall. the electrical wiring is fine and in a good working order. They are quite heavy. Photo# 4 shows the broken piece from the back of lady figure. Photo#5 shows when the broken piece is removed. I will leave it to the buyer to fix it. This auction is for a vintage and amazing art deco vase or lamp base. It is 14 1/2 inches tall and weighs 7 1/2 pounds without packing. It has a fabulous intentionally crazed bright mustard yellow glaze. It has a professionally drilled hole in the bottom that looks like it is original to the piece which made me think it may have been drilled for a lamp base. There is a stamped circular mark on the bottom with Made In Belgium Boch F and under that la Louviere. It is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Up for bid a beautiful antique french blue opaline it has miniature flowers and has very rich colors it has peforated base and the light works great on the bottom as well as the top. It measures 37inchesH to the socket it's 27.5in and it is 27in around the bottom base is 8inches is footed with gothic they look like fish but could be anything else and the brass and openwork is intact no damage. I bought the lamp several years ago in an antique shop as opaline floral lamp with the period that I mentioned above. This vintage art deco glass shade has nice circular ribbed patterns on its face which are clear alternating with a white baked or fired on finish. And two tone white and clear flared ribbed sides. It measures approximately 6 3/4" tall. By approximately 8 1/4" across at its widest points, and the mounting hole(fitter end) is 4" across to the outer edges and flares inward just below the lip for mounting screws to snug up to it. It is in very good condition overall. There is minor wear. And a couple of small nicks on the fitter rim which will not be seen when in place(see last two close up photos) No big deal in my opinion, but wanted to mention in case it would matter more to someone else. 30'S ART DECO STYLE CEILING LAMP LOOKS LIKE THE RINGS OF SATURN FROM OLD CHURCH
This sale is for a very nice Art Deco style hanging light. This light came out of a little country church that is over 100 years old. A older man told me that he knew it was at least 65 years old but he thought it was put in in the 30's. This light looks like the rings of Saturn. The glass ring slips over the main light. The glass ring is 22 inches in diameter. The main shade is 6 inches wide at the top and 16 inches wide at the widest part. The main shade is 10.5 inches tall. The chrome socket cap has a mogul socket that took a 500 watt bulb. There is about 14 feet of chain that goes from the ceiling cap to the light socket. There are some chips in the big ring but if you put some white paint on them I think they will not show. The hole light needs a good cleaning because it was stored in a barn for years.
