We are pleased to offer this lovely. Art Deco era(20s-30s) pair of wall lamp sconces. The sconces are simplistic yet elegant, and are perfect for"shabby" cottage or Paris apartment décor. The sconces are a soft, pink frosted glass with fluted details and floral rims. They have brass arms that are finished with a candlestick design. They operate on a single, standard sized, candelabra bulb(100w) They are currently lamps with long electrical cords, but the cords can be cut and the lamps can be wired directly into the wall. The wiring has been updated, probably in the 1970s and the lamps are working. The frosted glass does show some age/wear as the frost has worn on the fluted areas. The brass arms have age spots which adds to the character of the lamps. The glass is free of chips or cracks and is in very good condition. The lamps ... morehave a hanging bracket attached to the backs. This is a nice pair of wall lamps with a charming character. The pictured shades are not original and are not included with the lamps. VNTG PR ART DECO HOLLYWOOD REGENCY FLUTED MILK GLASS WALL SCONCE LAMP LARGE 20"
We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of vintage wall lamps/sconces. This pair is rather large and measures just under 20" tall. They feature ornate metal frames with large top and bottom finials. They retain their original glass shades. The shades are milk glass with fluted pattern. The lamps have on/off switches located on each back plate. They have been painted. At some point, in silver and black which is quite striking against the white glass. The sconces are in good condition with some minor evidence of age(1940s to 1950s) The shades are in good condition with some minor chipping on the fitters. One does have a chipped area on the fitter. There is a small, hairline crack just below the chip. However, it does appear that an adhesive was applied to repair the chip and stop the crack. This is not visible when the shade is on ... morethe sconce. The frames are good with some minor wear to the paint which can be resolved. The wiring is good, but it is the original, cloth wiring. The finial is a Antiqued Bronze finial and cap. The shade has some wear of paint on inside conducive to age and wear. The double pull chain-one of the sockets is not working but can be fixed or replaced(The other as in pictures works! A little attention and this lamp is a Fantastic item! The company got its start in lighting manufacture by producing metal candleholders, and then moved into kerosene lamps, gas lighting, and electric lighting ... moreas times changed. The name of the company changed too, becoming Edward Miller& Co. for a time, then The Miller Co. A mark of Miller or E M& CO on the base indicates a Miller lamp. Miller produced more expensive leaded glass lamps. But seized the opportunity to sell lighting for the middle classes as more and more homes were wired for electricity. The company sold lamps in bulk to utility companies in large cities who retailed them to their customers. A 1920 Philadelphia Electric Co. catalog shows lamps with prices from $12.50 to $60, depending on size. All the lamps are described as being“cast metal openwork” over“light amber art glass” and could be ordered in a variety of metal finishes including French brown, Grecian antique, Etruscan bronze and Florentine relief. While lamps were made with glass in colors other than amber. Or caramel as it is often called now, amber predominates. According to a lighting catalog from the period, Amber is the color used in all[our] lamps. Amber has, by scientific tests been proven to be easiest on the eyes, and most restful when reading. Vintage Hubley 1920s Art Deco floor lamp
This is a lovely original and vintage HUBLEY brand floor lamp. In the Art Deco style. The base. Column, and cluster body are all nickel-plated cast iron. The HUBLEY stamp on the underside of the base is fully intact and also bears a model number of"317 A. Some of the plating is in need of polish. see photos) There are two“candle lamp” type electrified housings with pull chains terminating in small wooden balls(one of the chains has become loose) The vintage MARIO NY brand mica lampshade is supported by an original steel frame. Around which a vintage mica shade is attached by means of a wool lanyard. The wool lanyard appears to be a modern restringing as I believe the original would have been leather. The shade washer fits perfectly to the lamp harp by means of a threaded original and matching finial. The MARIO NY stamp encircles the ... morewasher. The lamp has been rewired at some point but may need further attention as the switches appear frozen. These HUBLEY lamps have become extremely collectable. With some commanding thousands of dollars. For sale is a metal brown industrial art deco bankers desk lamp that was made sometime during the mid century or a little earlier. It is in excellent condition and measures about 13 inches high(but is bendable- could be higher or lower, lamp shade is 18 inches wide. And base is 7 inches X 5-1/2 inches. The whole light is a chocolate brown color- all metal. As one can see from the pictures the shade and neck are in great shape without any dents that I could find and only very minor scratches and discolorations expected of something of this vintage. The pull chain socket is in working condition. The beautiful Houze Vaseline& Caramel Slag Glass pieces of the lamp are in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, repairs. The glass pieces do glow bright under a black light. The metal parts of the lamp do have some paint loss visible. I am selling this beauty as purchased from a local estate sale. Further cleaning, polishing and refurbishing will be left for the new owner. The lamp measures 61 inches tall and the metal arm measures 9 inches long. RARE Vtge Art Deco Czech Beads & Gold Metallic Lace Bed Reading Light Lamp
Here is the most beautiful and very hard-to-find bed light that I have ever seen. It recently came out of a local mid-Nebraska estate and is all original in every way. Made with 2 layers of fabric- inner pink crepe silk and outer mocha fabric. This is covered with gold metallic lace over a wire frame. It is enhanced with Czech glass bead fringes. Pink and gold metallic trim and fabric(silk? apple blossom flowers and leaves. All fabrics are in good condition. The frame measures 10 1/2" wide by 8" high in the middle by 4" deep. It has 2 hooks to go over the head board and a single bulb. The fabric covered cord is original and should be replaced. My husband is a licensed electrician and can do this(not with fabric cord) if you would like. Did not want to touch anything. Antique Challenge Industrial Art Deco Steampunk Radiating Coil Heat Lamp Disk
Up for sale is an antique Challenge industrial radiating heat lamp. Piece is Art Deco in style with a beautiful streamlined base. It is finished in an iridescent seafoam green color. Back of lamp shows some deterioration to the paint. Mainly a mottled or crackled patina that really adds to unique look of the piece. Lamp can be rewired with a new porcelain socket and a miniature edison bulb for a fun steampunk look. It measures 12 inches tall and 9 3/4 inches wide. Base is 5 1/2 inches by 3 3/4 inches. I purchased this lamp at an antique store over 30 years ago. It has been used as a nightlight in my hallway during that time. Unfortunately. We are moving to a smaller home and some items have to go. The lamp has a really great Art Deco figure on the side that has a bronze spelter body and then a celluloid face. That celluloid face actually comes off easily and it needs to be reglued. It has a pedestal on the side that would have held some kind of shade and I believe it would have been a Millefiori style, but that has since gone missing. Vintage Mid Century Pendant Lamp Brass & White Glass Dome Cover Art Deco Globe
Up for sale is a vintage Mid-Century white glass pendant lamp cover. It measures 13 1/2 inches tall. From base to the tip of the brass finial, and has a diameter of 6 1/2 inches. The base should fit any standard 4 inch fixtures. One spot near the base, as seen in the photographs, shows a tiny bit of paint loss. Paint also shows slight discoloration in several tiny spots, as seen in the photographs, but can probably be cleaned with a good scrubbing. Piece was lightly cleaned before being photographed.
