But it was salvaged ... morefrom an old estate in the Cincinnati area. It is solid wood with what appears to be some sort of lacquer on it. The motif looks floral, perhaps a tulip? In terms of condition. I would consider these to be good to very good. A few pieces have some minor cracking, but nothing that goes all the way through or causes them to be falling apart. Each piece is numbered on the back. And these 4 go in order, so they are fairly evenly matched. Each piece is roughly 6.5 inches long. 2.5 inches tall, and 0.75 inches deep at the base. Overall, this is a great lot of vintage/antique items and I think you will be very pleased. Please let me know if you have any questions or want to see anything in more detail. Also. I have several pieces of this if you are interested in buying more. If you are interested, or if you know any more about what this is, then feel free to send me a message. Tabernacle Box from an old church! This is great for a Halloween Haunted House to put the(dry ice) in the wine goblet and put it in this box that formerly was in an old church and holds the communion wine! I bought this from a very old gothic church. Its very cool! The ornate door has a great Gothic art deco relief in what appears to be some sort of casted. Maybe bronze, with brass inside trim. There are Satin Curtains inside which behind would hold the holy communion wine goblet. There is a lock on the door. But I don't have the key, door opens fine! This is in very good condition. This is very old and very cool. And very heavy! Gorgeous! This tabernacle is incased ... morein a box. Which is 12 inches by 16 inches by 13 inches, which sits on a wooden pedestal which is 3 feet long, 14 inches wide and 19 inches tall from bottom to top of tabernacle box. This is in very good condition, some of the corners have been scuffed and there is a light water spot on the long wood platform, but its light in color and this wood is shiny and in very good condition! On the very back of this cool box there are some small slivers out on the back top. It does not show as its the back and its small, only an inch or two long on the very edge.This is very cool! There is some discoloring tarnish on the door but its really cool, and its made of top quality metal! The art is beautiful! Heavy. Definitely near 50 pounds! I'll ship it fedex ground! Its so cool! For your Consideration: Antique/Vintage stair balusters 17 units in all. 2 different lengths. You are buying one at a time 12 pieces around 30 1/8 inches from the bottom of the square section to the upper tip. 5 pieces around 26 1/2 inches from the bottom of the square section to the upper tip. Bottom Square Section Measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" wide x 2 1/4"H One unit has a piece of wood missing.see picture. I am not a wood expert. But these appear to be made of mahogany. I would date these around 1875 or so.machine made. The fluting is concave. And is also tapered.a really nice shape. There is some paint.one coat on a few. But not all.the original finish is failing though, so these will need reconditioning. Shipped quickly to you. From my smoke fee home. Thanks for looking.

1896 Architectural Salvage ZINC Victorian Roof Top Finial turret Cap Corbal
Very interesting piece of Victorian architectural salvage. Circa 1896. I have a photograph that shows this piece as it once was, on the top corner of a building on a Main Street in Michigan. The piece was on top of the building in the corner. Originally there was two of these on the building. The brick building was once in Armada Michigan, on their main street. Years ago, about 40, the building caught on fire, and a friend of mine got this piece in the wreckage. The piece was not damaged by the fire. No signs of smoke or odor. My friend has had the piece in storage all this time. The piece would make a great wall hanging. It is a one of a kind piece, in all my years of buying salvage, this is my only roof piece. The piece is made of zinc and measures: 33 1/2" tall x 12" deep x 17" wide. Has a weight of: 11 pounds. Not the original ... morepaint. It also looks like some adornments on the face are missing. Antique architectural salvage cast iron overdoor pediment
This heavy cast iron overdoor pediment came from a local estate. It is cast in heavy cast iron and has seen several paint incarnations and is in the style of Louis XVI. The current one is gold over a dark translucent brown. The overall effect is quite stunning and will certainly stand out on any gable or over a door as intended. The piece is intact with no defects. They are NOS new old stock, from a batch that I found covered with layers of dust, stored way up top in an old hardware and lumber shed. On one of the few pcs that I still have has a manufacture date of 1912 stamped on it. Came from a home with alot of nautical pieces. Vintage solid brass architectural salvage mail slog that has a handle that looks to be a door knocker. Front door mail slot. Matte finish not real shiny. Just a beautiful piece for anyone's salvage collection. I can see this in a home of some historical of the that time. Historical homes etc. Condition is good for the overall age. And has the hardware for the back. It measures 8 1/2" to the widest part and the slot measures5" by 1 1/2" tall of the opening. Back has number on the bottom of 9817. Some rust on the hardware on the back, the screws with the bolts measures 3" long. I guess if your door is not of that thickness you could trim these down. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. There is one complete register in good working order with no cracks or breaks. The second piece has the face only. Great decor piece, and it has one small crack. Everything is cast iron. They are very ornate. There is black paint with light surface rust. The face is 15 inches wide by 12.75 tall. The other is 14.75 by 12.75 and is 2.25 deep. The inset is 11.75 wide by 10.25 tall. Overall they are in good condition. For your consideration is this rectangular cast iron heating grate. Age unknown, measuring approx. 9 3/4" x 11 5/8" and 2" deep overall. It is marked M M& F CO MILWAUKEE, WI 8 X10. It's rusty with chippy blue over white paint with 3 complete louvered vanes on the back. The vanes work fine- open& close with the lever. The screws attaching the cover are loosened and hard to turn.
