Lovely Queen Anne Victorian Oak Arched Window Cupboard Architectural Salvage
Wonderful Queen Anne Victorian oak cupboard. Salvaged from Jackson, Michigan. Made with high quality workmanship as the home had some of the finest details I have ever seen. City of Jackson has great homes as one of the wealthiest men in the area brought European craftsmen to the city to build for him. Measures 5'2" wide, and 7'1" high including the molding at the top. Two arched windows in the cabinet door taper down to a third arch that is open with an ornate oak shelf with oak panels at the rear. In the home was built originally with the staircase behind it. Inside the glass the back of the cabinet is oak bead board. Below the two windows is a shelf that is rounded on each side. Beneath a wide drawer with two brass, square, cup pulls. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE pair of COLUMNs. Hi for sale I have ONE Pair of Antique architectural salvaged wood carved porch Columns or pilllars. I believe the wood is pine. They are painted white and have a chippy patina. 2 soild ~4 sided pieces. Photos 1- 7 show the full piece columns. 8-12 show the 1/2 columns. The second photo shows how I have used a pair in my home. I added hang hood and heavy wire to the back of the columns. I then added a heavy photo hook to my wall, then I hung the columns to the wall. They each have some damage to the bottoms. WONDERFUL ESTATE FIND. Up for auction. Is this fabulous wood column post. The column is solid wood, nicely carved with ridged design and a button like flower top. Top of the column has a wood dowel inserted along with predrilled holes and the bottom has predrilled holes as well. Measures overall 24 1/2"in. tall and up to 4 3/4"in. wide. EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. Has wear, a few splits in the wood with some being previously repaired, a few chips, tiny paint marks, but a marvelous vintage find. Not marked. We are pleased to offer this VINTAGE pair of salvaged. Architectural columns. The pair were used indoors in a formal dining room and we salvaged during the home's remodel. The columns are about 30 to 40 years old. They are heavy, solid(not hollow) and feature a BEAUTIFUL MAHOGANY finish. They are Art Deco in style and are 8 sided(octagon shaped) They have a fabulous, Art Deco styled"Skyscraper" design which is featured on both the top and bottom caps. The caps are fixed and are not removable. The octagon pattern is raised at the point of attachment between the two sections(picture 3) The columns are in very good condition with no rot or broken/missing pieces. They do have some surface scuffs and scratches but these are fairly minor and can be sanded and refinished. The attachment screws are in place for you as well. Antique Architectural Salvage Weathered Column Cap - Christmas Tree Pedestal
If this column cap could talk. I would be willing to bet it has more sordid stories and harrowing tales than Rob Ford. This exquisitely ornate, gorgeously weathered column cap is a magnificent piece of historic salvage. Chipped, peeling paint unearth the gritty texture hidden beneath the bone white exterior. The imperfect details, like cracked corners and a slight lean, give it character, while the flourishing curliques and imposing European charm belie what must have been a wealthy past in a building of grand stature. Shockingly, this isn't as heavy as you might expect(around 20 lbs, easy enough for this admittedly weak-armed shopkeep to lift) which makes it easy to repurpose for plenty of uses. My first thought was that this would be an incredible, one-of-a-kind pedestal for a Christmas tree, either real or fake(though you might need ... moreto slip something underneath one side to make it a bit more stable and cure the lean) However, if you have a bigger table, it would make an incredible centerpiece on its own, and could easily be accented with a candelabra, tealights, or bottlebrush trees. Year round, use it as a plant stand, small accent table, or just as salvage-chic decor. Measures approximately 14.5" wide. 15" tall. Lovely pair of stained glass windows. From the early 1900's, originating from a playhouse in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. These windows are very rare, both in great condition. One window features the theater masks. Comedy and tragedy, with flamed torchiers on both sides of the masks, with twisted, flowing ribbons between them. The other windows center is a mandolin and piccolo, also with flamed torchiers, and ribbons. At the top of each window. Near the center, two light fixtures were hanging and I couldn't get them down for the photograph, not included in the auction, and the windows would look much nicer without them in the photo. Here is an beautiful old Art Nouveau stained leaded glass window salvaged from a 1907 house. Nice lines and colors. With a flower motif in the center. This window is quite heavy and solid. Frame is made of pine and painted on the outside, with a quarter-sawn oak veneer on the inside. Condition is really good, with only two very small pieces cracked near the edges. No other broken pieces, no repairs, just slightly bulged in the center as they all do over time. Overall frame dimensions are 21 1/2 inches by 45 1/4 inches. This would be the size of the hole you would need to make to install this window. The visible part of the glass is 17 inches by 40 3/4 inches putty to putty. It is 1 3/4 inches thick. Antique carved Oak Pediment Header Back Splash Crown Architectural Salvage
This piece came off a dresser or cabinet. I can't remember which. There is a groove across the back where something fit onto it and there are screw holes as well. It was refinished at some point with what looks like an oil based clear finish under which I see what looks like swirl marks from an orbital sander. They're not deep. So the whole front could be sanded and re-finished which is what I would do if I had a good place for this in my house. It measures: 19.5" long x 2.25" tall(in the center) 3.5" on the ends x 7/8" thick(not counting the medallions) It's 1" thick with the medallions. Antique walnut and pine stair part that have been carefully removed and stored. The handrail measures 2 1/8" tall and 4" wide. There are 38 long spindles[31" to 32" and 16 short spindles[ 27" to 28" all walnut. The walnut rail pc that connects to the bottom octagon post is 13' 3" and it is spliced towards the bottom end. The 2 balcony boards that have the walnut scrollwork on it are 8'8" and 47" by 10" wide and there is one half circle pc and one quarter circle pc[Both have the scrollwork on them] and the balcony rail pc is around 10' 3" not counting the"wings" on the rail. There are walnut caps to cover the ends of the treads and risers. There are no treads and risers included. The rise and run of the stair is 7 7/8" by 9 1/4" The baseboard that would ... morego below the paneled section is not pictured. But it would go with these parts. The condition is used and there are some splits and cracks here and there. There are some small missing pcs, but for the most part it is pretty complete. Antique Vintage Hard Wood Balusters Stair Staircase Spindles Lot of 26 This is a lot of 26 hardwood antique stair balusters removed from a building in PA. I am also listing two newel posts that were removed from the same staircase. You can see them in my other auctions. There are 3 balusters that have flat bottoms as opposed to the slanted ones that were going up the staircase. They measure 30 5/8' There are 13 balusters with the slanted bottoms(shown in the middle) They measure 30¼' There are 10 slanted bottom ones(shown on the right) that measure 26 3/4' The'turned area' on ALL of the spindles measures 18' The tops are 1 3/4" square. Two of the flat ones have a piece gone at the tops from being removed from the railing. I have taken a photo of that section to show the wood grain so that it could possible ... morebe identified. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. This has great design and colors. The central feature is a flower with ribbons and bell flowers. There are 7 facet cut jewels. I see no cracks or breaks. It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is painted on both sides. It measures 22.25 inches wide by 35.5 tall. It is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 18 x 32. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. One piece of glass is not matching perfectly. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 11459 Shipping. We use FedEx Ground and insurance is included.
