ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DOOR ORNATE HARDWARE BEVELED GLASS ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE OLD
This door is from a Victorian home built around the 1890's. It's a true beauty if you can over look the dust. The front has beautiful detailing around the thick beveled glass(no cracks/breaks) and 2 panels at the bottom of a carved flowers. It still has the original hardware. Look closely at the pictures to see how ornate they are. It has a pad lock that they carved into the detailing(see picture 3) The back of the door does have a black door knob. Two Vintage industrial tin clad firedoor: architectural salvage loft headboard
Antique/Vintage Industrial Loft chic at its best. Two tin clad fire doors salvaged from renovated building in Fort Port Channel Boston. Both doors measure 33.5" wide x 93.5" tall x 1.75" thick. They are made of solid wood covered with tin sheeting(see diagram) They are painted the typical primer gray. The doors do have some minor small dents. Dings and marks as one might expect from a door this old, but it gives them character. Doors have misc hardware attached. And unfortunately one of the door hinges were cut during removal, while the other is intact(see pics) They were manufactured by West Side Metal Door in Western MA which is still in business: westsidemetaldoorDOTcom/tincladDOThtml Could be used as a decorative element. Urbana, Il, When Altar Was Turned To Face the People We obtained these from an Urbana resident who saved these pieces when St. Patrick’s Catholic Church remodeled their altar to face their congregants after Vatican II’s reforms. There will be 3 listings. Each item is just as we found it. Lot A: set of 4 wood apparently hanging drop ornaments or accents or enormous bulbous finials OR perhaps even massive feet. Measuring about 71/4” tall by about 5” at its widest diameter. 3 of the 4 retain their grime& thick paint as they were removed from the church; the last one has been stripped down to its raw pine wood. The 2 square made nails still protruding have been cut off. A 1 ½” tall by 1 3/16” wood peg extends from the middle of the flat“base” on each of these to fasten them with ... morethe added support of 2 or 3 large iron square nails. The paint ranges from less than 1/16” to 1/16” thick. I believe most if not all the paint used was“white” although there may have been a greenish gray much earlier. Each piece“begins” with the thick peg which emerges from a large somewhat flattened“donut” shape which leads down a vertically curved short column to a much smaller version of the first“donut” shape. FOR SALE We have 3 old corbels that were removed from a house recently demolished in the area. This house was from the 1800's They measure 12" tall and 7 3/4" deep and 3 1/8" wide. Made from two 7/8" wood pieces on either side and a 1 3/8" piece in the middle. Most pieces still have the old square nails in them! This set is in rough condition. Here's a Victorian bathroom set consisting of a metal cup holder and a rare two toothbrush holder. Both items were taken from an older home when owners decided to retile the bathroom. Holders will need cleaning. they are in"as found" condition. No mounting hardware included. The sconce style metal cup holder measures 7.5" tall and the cup holder will fit a cup up to 3" in diameter. It is unmarked. The toothbrush holder has a neat stamped trademark on the back(see picture#4) The toothbrush holder measures 2.75" by 1" and will only hold two toothbrushes. Here is a piece of glazed terra cotta facade. This nice little piece is 2 color. Green and yellow and has a lovely leaf rosette design from the art deco period. Unusual to see 2 colors together. I took photos with and without a flash to show the shine on the glaze in bright light, and the warm muted surface with dim light. This small piece would make a great accent on a shelf or garden, bringing history and character. Some years back I was passing a dumpster in front of the Elmwood Movie Theater in Queens NY. Two Vintage industrial tin clad fire door: architectural salvage loft headboard
Antique/ Vintage Industrial Loft chic at its best. Two tin clad fire doors salvaged from renovated building in Fort Port Channel Boston. Both doors measure 33.5" wide x 93.5" tall x 1.75" thick. They are made of solid wood covered with tin sheeting(see diagram) They are painted the typical primer gray. The doors do have some minor small dents.
