Art Nouveau Stained Glass Window- 60 " Long- Architectural Salvage-early 1900's
This is an original and wonderful Art Nouveau stained Glass large window. Firstly it is in a wood door frame. I can remove it for shipping to save costs. I photographed as is and if you want the frame it is fine. It is a very shabby chic door frame. With that said I have based shipping on frame included. It is large: 60 inches tall by 15 inches wide. The glass is actually in very good condition. A few lines but in general not that much damage to the glass. Some paint splatter that will come off. I am selling as is. The detail is exceptional. The glass is marble tones and thick. The urn design is very ornate and typical of the Nouveau period. It is best to look at photo's. Please as any questions. A wonderful pair of matching antique wooden Victorian corbels. Or gingerbread as some call it. These were salvaged from New Bedford, Massachusetts. These have original paint and patina. They measure approximately 15 1/2" x 12" and are 2 1/4" thick. One has a little damage to the top. Which any carpenter or woodworker can round off, do the same to the other, and make them both match exactly. The other one has a bit of a chunk out of the bottom, near the side, which can easily be filled. See all photos. These are substantially weighty pieces- the real deal. Coming to you original. 12 Antique Porcelain Electrical Insulators w/nail c.1920 Architectural Salvage
12 used antique porcelain electrical insulators w/double headed nails from a circa 1870 farmhouse. Architectural salvage. These date from about 1920 when electricity first came to our area. They are in two pieces. Connected by a double headed nail. The wire was placed between the two pieces of porcelain, then the nail driven into a stud forming a tight joint. The second nail head, which is under the lower piece of insulator kept the carpenter from driving the insulator in too far. There is damage to nearly every one as it was nearly impossible to drive these without the hammer causing minor damage. Porcelain portions measure about 2 inches, nails about 3 1/2. I have not cleaned these. The porcelain is also fragile as it has been exposed to heat and cold from the attic where they have been for the last 90 years. Nice pair of Architectural Salvage- Hand Made Terra Cotta In nice shape. a chip here or there. each piece is heavy and solid. And measure about 19 x 12 x 8 each. Nice age/ patina. They weigh 25 lbs each. There are all kinds of numbers and lettering marking the bottoms. What's great about these are the hand/finger prints on the inside of the claywork. which were the hands of the maker. when/where he or she had to push the clay had to be into molds. and you can clearly see the hand-work craftsmanship. I've enjoyed them for a decade or so. but time for a new home. This is PICK UP ONLY.

Pair Antique Rococo Column Capitals / Pedestals Architectural Salvage
Up For Auction This auction is for a pair of mid to late 19th century carved architectural wood trim offs. Identical pieces feature ornately carved Greek acanthus leaves and Victorian floral design. These beautiful corbels came from the estate of a collector specializing in French style interior design and architectural salvage. We believe the type of wood to be cherry or pecan. This capital would fit a column 5" in diameter. Pieces each measure 5 3/4" tall. 6 1/2" wide. If they were affixed to the wall, they would measure 4 3/4" deep at the deepest point. Each capital weighs 2 pounds. There is a small chip to one scroll. The finish on the wood is completely original and we have made no attempt to touch up or otherwise repair or change these lovely pedestals. Up for sale is a set of four(4) iron porch brackets/corbels from New Orleans. Although age is unknown similar brackets can be seen throughout New Orleans French Quarter and in the city's architecturally significant neighborhoods. They measure 34 inches x 34 inches and are 1.5 inches wide. There are holes for installing with screws. They are gorgeous in that chippy paint sort of way. They are not new and are sold as is. They are dirty and have flaking paint and some rust. The tops where they were attached have some remnants of other materials adhered. But could easily be chipped off before installation. They do have a few coats of paint on them and numerous small chips and dings. These are solid pine and still dusty- they need a good cleaning with a hose. They have repeating arched carved flowers with small turned spindles in between. The lower rail is deeper than the upper rail. Great looking pieces. Your bid buys the pair. It measures 43.25 inches long. By 4.75 inches tall and the upper is 1.5 inches deep and the lower is 2.75 thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It is in it's original frame which is in good shape and has chippy paint on one side. It measures 32.5 inches long by 26.5 tall and is 1.75 inches thick. The glass only is 28 x 22. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. A couple of pieces have hairlines. There are chips along the edge of the frame.
