ANTIQUE NOVELTY GERMAN ALABASTER ROCK MANTEL CLOCK BRONZE FOX RABBITS WORKING
An unusual Antique Novelty German mechanical(wind up) Mantel Clock. The body is sculptured out of alabaster(white with grey veins and heavy) modelled in the shape of a rock. The clock has a silvered(guilloche type) face with brass rim and black hands with brass backplate. Key for winding up and for the hands. I think this would have had an alarm setting but, if so, the fitting is missing. But the best features are the beautifully sculptured bronze animals. The large and beautifully detailed bronze fox peering over the top of the rock to the two little bronze rabbits huddled in the cave below. Both the fox and the rabbits are beautifully crafted with well detailed hairy coats. Size: Approx 22cms height x 10.5cms length x 7.5cms width. Weight: Very heavy for size at approx 1.8kgs! Date: C1900-1920 Condition: Very good. No sign of any damage(eg ... morecracks/chips nor restoration) And this is still working! Bought working and since tested for the past 48hrs and now. Since winding, has not stopped since. Any wear(eg slight wear to the dial) is commensurate and to be expected with an item aged 90 years plus. But I am happy to rate this as being very good taking into account age and use. Please note that I have not attempted to take off the back cover. Please ask any questions before bidding. This beautiful E. Ingraham. American Mantel 8 day clock with key work's. It is lovely example of hand crafted workmanship. The ornate center and porcelain face is a wonderful addition to this antique E. Ingraham 8 day clock. I am unsure of the wook. I don't know if it is cherry or walnut. The measures 13" tall x 9 1/2" wide. The chimes on the hour and half hour. The clock is missing two small screw's. It has a scratch on one on left side of the clock which can be repaired. I see some tiny speckles on the top of the clock which I think are white paint. This is a wonderful working E. Ingraham 8 day mantel/shelf clock. This listing is for a lovely hanging corner shelf which was possibly used as a clock shelf. I am not sure whether this is more of an Eastlake or Victorian piece. This shelf has very nice detailing with black accents. Measures approximately 16" along the back spine from top to bottom and 12" across. I would consider this piece to be in good condition- no cracks or splits. There is some separation at the top which I tried to show in one of the photos. The cream colored bakelite is in super condition with only minor signs of wear but it could use a bit of cleaning. The metal sides and back shows the wear the most. The back plate has paint worn off. There is some discoloration in the roll top. The whole clock needs a good cleaning. This clock is a little gem. The plastic face is in excellent condition with no chips or deep scratches. The face plate is also in super condition. It`s nice and white with gold numbers it looks really good. The roll top rolls from the bottom up. and it rolls nice and smooth. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with makers mark J.G. 4.6" high and 3.8" wide at base. Clock frame is 2.1" It weighs 310g. The clock is not running but does tick away when moved. Antique New Haven 8 Day Mantle Clock Peaked Roof Late 1800's Needs 1 Bushing
This is a beautiful old New Haven mantle clock in very good condition dating to about 1880. It has it's original key and pendulum. The pin that holds the escape wheel has a little play in it and it needs a new bushing to hold it steady. The clock wants to run but when the lever engages the teeth on the gear it moves just enough to interrupt the rhythm and the clock stops. Some of the paint on the glass is missing but a new stencil can be applied. The clock case is free of any bad damage. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the right corner but the wood grain blends in well and the areas are barely noticable. The wood has that beautiful rich patina and this clock will look great in any room. I am enclosing a picture of the clock's original owner's home showing the clock on his mantle. This stands 17" tall by 10" ... morewide at the base by 4-1/4" deep. Shipping weight will be about 10 pounds. I prefer to ship antique clocks by priority mail for handling reasons. LARGE ANTIQUE GILBERT CLOCK COMPANY BRASS SHELF REGULATOR MANTEL CLOCK
Offered for auction is an antique brass regulator clock by Glbert Clock Company. The clock measures 10 1/2" tall x 6 1/3" wide and 5" deep. The clock was serviced and polished in 2002 and has been in storage since. In good running order and comes with its key. the case is in very nice condition with no dings or dents. All four glass panels are beveled and in good condition with no chips or cracks. The pendulum is mercury free and has silver tubes.There is an access door in the front as well as the rear. There is a crack on the dial at the 2 position. signed Gilbert Clock Company. Overall weight is 8.3 pounds.

It has beautifully embossed gilt front panel featuring onyx inlay and lovely cupid figure. Along with other decorative details on top. There is white porcelain dial with black Roman numerals. It chimes at the 1/2 hour and at the hour. The bottom sticker reads Zephyr. The inside door paper reads"No. 120 Series 8 Day pendulum movements. Z-28" There are pencil written service dates on the inner door. The Key and Pendulum are included and appear original. Overall condition is good, the clock is a little dirty and there is age wear(noticeably on the bottom brass trim) and small scratches and nicks on the wood. There is scratching around the front hinged brass face cover and some small scratches on the bottom of the face itself. The tiny pin holding the hour& minute hand in place is not original. antique gilbert 1607 mantel shelf clock
this is a gilbert 1607 mantel shelf clock. the case is good and the face and hands and glass is all good. this clock was purchased at an estate sale by someone and it was running and striking very well but he oiled it and now it has run here for two weeks with the penulim swinging but the hands do not move. I thought maybe it would dry out and the hands would start working but not yet. i think it would be something simple. i just don't know how. thanks.

Working Vintage? Antique? Bradley Travel Alarm Clock Germany
This listing is for a Vintage Bradley Travel Alarm Clock. Has Germnay on the back. It is manual wind, works great and alarms. The clock is worn around the face and the case is in sad shape. You can pretty much see what is wrong with it in the pictures. No mechanical problems, just cosmetic. The case does close and latch. I didn't even try to clean it. Antique J. Eastburn Chistian Huygens Walnut Tall Case Grandfather Clock
Unique Rare J. Eastburn Chistian Huygens Rope Drive Tall Case Walnut Clock c. 1700: Up for bidding we have a beautiful antique J. Eastburn tall case clock. Exquisite piece that I will try to describe as accurately as possible. Base. Trunk, and Hood: Outstanding condition. The case as a whole is made from walnut with the door formed from a solid piece of crotch walnut. The grain of the wood is very well preserved over the total case. Four columns frame the hood, which tops off in a classic broken bonnet style. The center finial I doubt is original, as it should be brass associated with time period.still not a glaring issue. Front glass does have a crack on the upper right side of the plain. Im pretty confident that the case was refinished professionally in the past. Works: Now here is where it gets really interesting. The face is made from ... moresolid brass with dark roman numerals on the dial. The name is J. Eastburn which is directly beneath the"VI" in the dial. The center of the dial is a simple painting of a snow covered landscape with a bunny sitting on the west side. On the bottom right are the initials"A.C.D.E" and the date March 26. 1700. I have done research on both the initials and name and came up empty handed. Under the saddleboard, the date of 1700, is carved or burnt in the wood. The brass works are in tact and are operated by a continous rope drive(the rope obviously is not original) Wood pulleys hold one lead weight and a smaller one made of wood. This type of drive is attributed to the inventor Christian Huygens(1629-1695) Overall a great piece of history that would complement almost any decor. Any questions or more pictures desired. Heres an antique wood movement probably made by Eli Terry who worked in Plymouth Conn in the early 1800's. The wood dial is in superb original condition and is a fantastic piece of folk art, the whimsical bird at the top of the dial has bright colors and the flowers in the corners are very charming, the dial is 12" wide and 16" tall. the movement is in great condition no broken gears or missing parts and runs and strikes when pressure is applied to the gears. The hands are original and in good condition, new weight cables have recently been installed.
