The face diameter is 150mm 6" And was refinished some years ago with roman numerals. The bevelled glass is in very good condition. The case mounting flange diameter is 193mm 7 5/8" and the depth of the case is 80mm 3 1/8" With four countersunk fixing holes. The original key has been lost, but a radiator bleed key works well for rewinding. The brass of the case is dull and has a nice patina, so I have not polished it in the event that this is wanted, but it would be easily cleaned and has no major stains or defects. Antique Wall Clock LFS Lorenz Furtwangler Sohne
This is a very rare LFS Lorenz Furtwangler Sohne wall clock. This is an eight day clock that keeps very accurate time. The chimes are very nice and they chime like this: On the quarter hour there is one chime which is a two note chime. On the half hour there is two chimes of the two note chime, and on the three quarter hour there is three chimes of the two note chime, then on the hour there is a single note struck for each hour of the day, 1 through 12. The front door is cracked but has no effect on the clock itself. There is some numbers on the back that may mean something to date the clock or other information. The numbers are in a picture and I believe that one is 902 and the one underneath that is 112. The interior metal parts are gold color as well as the pendulum metal part. The key is a one piece key. There are two small doors, one ... moreon each side held in place by a strip of wood that turns to hold the doors on the clock. The Lorenz Furtwangler Sohne clock company was in business from1836 to 1929. The firm had began in 1836 when Lorenz Furtwangler( 1807- 66) established his own workshop. Lorenz had four sons who took over the business at his death and renamed it' L Furtwangler's Sons' clock Factory' in 1868. the factory developed and was provided with water and steam power. And it obtained a reputation for very solid movements with high quality finish. Mantel clocks, wall clocks, and longcase clocks were made. The trademark of the letters LFS inside a wheel was registered in 1881 and 1895. In 1900 the firm was incorporated as' L Furtwangler Sohne AG'and four year later as' Uhrenfabrik vormals L. Furtwangler Sohne Furtwangen. The firm even produced cuckoo clocks but the main product was movements of high quality, which could not compete during the 1920s and so the firm, even though it had broadened its program to include business machines unfortunately ended operation in 1929. For your consideration we are presenting for sale this antique Sessions Wooden Wall/ Regulator type Clock. The clock is in working condition. But the chimes aren't aligning up. Sometimes it will chime on the half and something it won't. Something it will chime 13 times and other times it is exact. The wood on the clock face is separating at the joints, but no real damage to the overall clock. The glass is good and comes with the pendulum and replacement key. I am selling this clock as is with the intention the clock is not working correctly. It needs some attention and you should have a nice antique clock for your collection or use. Antique Black Forest Clock Shelf With Hand Carved Deer Head
A very nice antique Victorian Era shelf. Just found this at an estate sale. The little lady who passed had these 2 houses just to store her collection/addiction. The shelf is hand carved from mahogany wood and is from the Black Forest region of Germany. Marked under shelf is the numbers 393. Measures approx 10" tall and 6" in depth. Both sides of antlers have previously been glued back on and there are some tips of the antlers missing. Tip of spool coming off upper right side is missing. This is still a beautiful display piece! Unique antique cabinet.It is different than anything I have ever seen. It is almost similar to an old Grandfather clock cabinet.It has a glass door with and arched wood frame.It's actually Plexiglas and t he bottom piece is missing. Inside are 4 shelves.The last photo shows some damage done to the bottom of the cabinet.Looks like a dog chewed on it.It doesn't show that clearly in person. The E. Ingraham Company changed the name of its company many times throughout the years. This particular name indicates the manufacturing time period of 1885-1958. The 8 DAY wind up alarm clock was a timepiece of around 1934.This is a beautiful antique clock and appears to keep accurate time. I purchased it at an estate auction.This has a steady ringing steel bell. VERY LOUD! Both winders work. The one on the left winds for the time. The one on the right winds the alarm. The metal seamless drawn case is in good condition, original black lacquer finish. A few very small chips in the paint. Attractive die cast metal base with a nickel plated bezel.The two-tone metal dial face is good, clean with a few tiny scratches, Silver center and number ring, green-gray center outline, black deco numbers and hands. Good convex dial glass no cracks. The ... moreknob at the back top of center turns to set the alarm time. The one at center sets the current time. The round knob at the top of the case pulls upward for alarm, push it back down to stop it. You can set the"fast/slow" with the little lever at the peak on the back.Stands 5-1/2inches tall, 4-5/8 inches wide at the base, 2 inches deep plus the curved glass. It is an extremely classy wall clock in need of a warm loving home. The clock case is in great/beautiful condition. 100% All Original! Even has its original dial is near perfect condition) The bottom door and glass are original; many times these large office Clocks are broken and are missing many of their pieces. This is a real office clock. The real office clocks were very large and time only(did not strike– for obvious reasons! They were used in offices. Railroad stations, schools, etc. Later on the design became very popular and people wanted them for their homes and the smaller strike models come into being. This clock is more beautiful than the pictures. It measures 25 inches ... morehigh, 16 inches wide and 5 inches deep. It has its original 8 day New Haven movement(see picture) which runs very well– keeping very good time. The movement was just cleaned. Oiled, pivots polished and bushings added where needed. This is an EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL VERY LARGE 100% ALL ORIGINAL example of a German 2 weight Vienna Regulator Wall Clock in superior condition. German Vienna's are of the highest quality. This clock has a heavy duty 8 day time and strike WEIGHT DRIVEN movement. Which was one of the best German movements made. It was made in Germany circa 1890. Clocks with weights are more accurate than clocks with springs because when the springs are first wound they run slightly fast and as they lose tension the clock will run somewhat slower. Clocks that needed to keep nearly perfect time. Like jewelers regulators, were always driven by weights. The Vienna's in our collection is much more accurate that modern-day quartz clocks. This clock is accurate to a few seconds a month. The original pendulum has an adjustor! The clock is fun and very easy to wind ... morewith its included crank. Please consider this Seth Thomas 8 day mantle clock with the Westminster chimes. The clock is 20 inches wide. 9 and 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches deep. The clock movement has been cleaned and tested so is in good operating condition for both time and chime. The movement is marked as the 124 model. The clock plays the westminster melody at each quarter hour and then also counts the number of the hour on the hour. The clock case is in overall good condition. The dial has very mild fading but remains quite readable. The glass over the dial is excellent and the front bezel closes right. The rear door also snaps shut like it should. The finish has slight varnish loss in a couple of areas. Far left side and the inlay area. Almost looks like too much heat at some point and the finish cracked. This auction is for a really nice and very old mantel clock housing that came from the large estate auction I attended a while back. This old casing is cast of some sort of metal. Not steel, but some silver toned metal with a goldish inside. I do not know exactly what it is other than it is pretty heavy. The upper housing is very light and thin bu neither piece will attract a magnet. The opening for the face of the clock is 4 1/8 inches. The top case is mounted to the bottom with two screws that are not with it. This is just a great old mantel clock hat will make a great addition to your home decor or to your collections. Antique Egyptian Revival Shelf Mantel Clock N/R
This auction is for an antique Egyptian revival style pendulum clock. It has no markings on it. So I have been unable to determine the maker; it looks like it could be European. This works, but the chime does not ring when it runs. This stands about 16 inches high and is 10 5/8 inches wide at the base, and about 5 inches front to back. The face or dial of the clock appears to be enameled metal. There are light surface paint or enamel chips neat the hole where you wind the chimes.There is a missing finial that was not present when I got the clock(see photo) There is a small horizontal piece of wood missing on the back side near the case cover. It does not affect anything, and there is another short horizontal piece of wood missing in the right front side near the clock face.There is a key to wind it. Up for bid is a lot containing an old celluloid clock and a hand mirror. I believe the clock was made by New Haven? It measures 4.5 inches tall by 4 inches across. The clock is very clean and has no condition issues. I wound it and watched for an hour and it kept the correct time. I love the shape of this clock. When you wind it. You do need to give it a little shake to get it going. Also on this lot, is a vintage hand mirror made of celluloid. It has a pretty art deco design on the back. CONN. the glass frame made of brass has a significant bend in the bottom with silicone to hold the glass in. Tried to photo. there is also some kind of window glazing material visible when the glass door of the clock is open, near the hinge. The hinge itself is loose and the glass door sags when open.

Thought it looked old and interesting. Have not had anyone look at it, but found some information online that helped identify it. Not working at this time. Not sure if it has issues or just needs to be set or something. I don't know anything about clocks. It appears to have a wooden piece missing from the bottom, but it does not detract from the appearance and I didn't even realize it was missing until I saw a picture of one online.
