Antique French Eight-Day Time and Strike Clock Movement This movement was originally in a good quality inlaid wooden case that was badly deteriorated. Condition is excellent. The springs are good and both trains run freely, but a cleaning is recommended. It has a 4 1/2" metal dial(probably silver on brass) that is darkened with a convex beveled glass door. Both front and back doors are approx. 5 1/4" diameter. Pendulum length is approx. 7" from top of movement. The original pendulum has the same serial# as the movement. The gong and base are also included. The hour hand is missing but the broken minute hand is included. Email me if you have any questions and thanks for looking at my auction. Here for auction is as exquisite an antique clock as you will find. This is a gorgeous Seth Thomas Beehive Clock that was made for Jas R. Armiger of Baltimore. The clock has a 48R movement probably made in Germany at the Turn of the Century. The case is absolutey beautiful with wonderful inlay and genuine purfling. I believe the included key and pendulum are original. As far as I can tell the clock is completely original and in extremely fine working condition. The glass face is the most special piece of heavy beveled glass or crystal. The clock stands approximately 10 2/3" tall. The coil gong has the most warm sound. RARE ANTIQUE ANSONIA BRASS"TROTTER" JOCKEY. HORSE& TRAP NOVELTY CLOCK c1895 RARE ANTIQUE ANSONIA BRASS"TROTTER" JOCKEY. HORSE& TRAP NOVELTY CLOCK c1896 Once again I have had to fall back on the knowledge of others to be able to identify this unusual clock. If my sources are right(and they usually are) then this model was known as"The Trotter" and was only produced for a very short period. 2 years? in 1896/97(at least these are the only two years this model appears in the Ansonia catalogues) The clock consists of a solid brass cast body depicting a jockey. Trap(or sulky) and horse at full trot. The clock is housed within the wheel of the sulky and is designed to be removable, with its own small feet and carry handle. This model was made by the Ansonia Clock company of New York. Who are world renowned for ... moretheir novelty clocks, however the small drum clock that sits within this one is not made by Ansonia. It is made by some unidentified maker, possibly HAC or Junghans. Condition: the clock works. Even keeps reasonable time, although would benefit from a service. The brass casting is in very good condition but the"sleeve" the clock slots into appears to have been repaired/re-soldered in the past. It measures 8 1/2 inches long and 5 1/2 inches high. This model is from a short production run. So there would have been a relatively small number produced. With the need for precious metals during the wars, many of them would have been consigned to the war effort. great antique fusee wall clock in mahogany(i think) has brass and glass hinged dial front. Has pendulum, a key and chain. The wooden case has a lovely finish to it. Case is 15" dia x 5 1/2" high, dial is 12" dia On the dial front the hands are loose. I can see writing"alfred e. baker. North finchley, the letters have all come off. Like a ghost image On the back there is handwriting"cleaned by john carroll. Dec 15 1937, cleaned again sept 12 1941 There are 2 doors one at the side and a curved one at the base of the case. I do not have the key for this The clock is untested and i do not know if it works as the chain is not on the movement. I have taken lots of shot of the movement which i know nothing about. I tried getting the face off to take a photo of the manufacturers name but did not succeed, I was able to make out the name by 1 of the winding key ports, Clock is not in running condition. It keeps stopping, I wound this once and a lot, and I have not been re-winding it) I only set the pendulum in motion, it will run for awhile then stops, the chimes do work, There are 2 key ports 1 for the time and 1 for the chimes. Paper label on face. With brass trim, gold reverse painting on door, there is some wear to the reverse painting and the painting has a musical theme. Bag piper, musical instruments& musicians, fife, piano, harp, drum, horn, Back panel of clock is a single board, there is 1 brace missing at the top of the back of clock. And 2 underneath the front corners, I do have 2 unattached braces which I found inside the clock, 1 is for the top back of clock and I am assuming the other is for the underneath front. This is accomplished by an ingenious movement, great fun to watch it chime and strike– the large silver metal disks revolve and slide in and out as it switches from chime to strike! This is a rare LUX Bank/Clock. Manufactured by the LUX CLOCK MFG. CO. WATERBURY CONN. USA IN 1920. It has a Patent Date of 6/4/1912. This is the way I received it except for the key which is included. It has a nice steel Case with a beautiful original Dial and original Hands. The Bank receives Dimes and Quarters also Bills. It has a Key which is not original but does work. The Clock itself ticks but it doesn't tick for a long period, it might need cleaning. The Case is about 4" square and 2" front to back. This auction is for a vintage 1940's German made globe/world clock. I have searched the internet. And have not found anything that comes close to resembling it. This clock features a beautiful two sided face depicting both sides of the earth, with all continents. It has a fantastic pearl white background with the continents done in what is likely gold leaf. You can see all of the latitude and longitudinal lines of the globe. The base is a silver color, and the other metal looks like brass. The globe swivels 160 degrees. This would be great for the serious collector. As you will likely never see another one like it. The clock weighs in at 1.7lbs. And stands just under 6" tall. It is in good working order. Vintage Antique Marigold Dairy Light Up Clock And Sign
For your consideration is a vintage Marigold Dairy Products lighted sign and clock. The outer part of the piece is all metal and goes around the entire piece including the clock. The Marigold portion is made of plastic. Just guessing. But I think it weighs roughly 10 lbs. Both the clock and the sign are in working order and have no issues. There are a few minor scratches in the letter O and D and are hardly worth mentioning. But those are the only 2 flaws on this piece or I would consider it dang close to mint. The last picture shows the scratches. Get a piece of history on a Dairy Company that no longer exists. Sign measures 26 inches in length. 20 inches tall and 6 inches deep. This October. 1899"City Series" Seth Thomas clock is extremely rare. It is stamped on the back 9981J, and works great. It measures 23" tall x 14" wide x 4 1/2" deep, made of oak, 8 day movement, half hour strike, comes with key. This is an extremely rare clock and is not listed in the Tran Duy Ly references. Giving proper names to clock models was a common practice of most major clock manufacturing firms by the 1880s. One firm named many models after opera singers, another firm often used classical names, but one of the best known are the Seth Thomas models which were named after American cities. Various models were produced over a 40-year period, so it is doubtful that company actually considered them all a'series' but the name“City Series” has been coined by collectors.

The clock runs on an 8 day signed Gilbert movement and it strikes on the half and on the hour on a cathedral gong. The movement is clean and the clock runs and strikes great. Antique Waterbury Clock Co. Victorian Black Metal Case Clock W/Golden Accents& Feet; Spree Model; C.1899 Please review photos along with this description. Features for this fancy antique Waterbury cast iron mantle clock Spree model which was first manufacture in C.1893: Cast iron case is in good condition. It has been lightly restored to present well and yet retain its antique characteristics. The back plate’s door has a raised star pattern on it. There is a small piece missing from the back plate at the top left screw. It is not visible from front and does not affect the clock’s function. The case has golden cast feet and ornaments. Has a brass clock face bezel in good condition with working hinge and latch. The glass has some minor scratches that are not very visible. The clock face is a white paper dial with Roman numerals. A Waterbury ... moremark in the center, and the Waterbury Clock Co. name along the bottom. Dial shows some wear as expected for its age but is well preserved and considered to be in good condition for its age. Clock has proper Waterbury type hands in good condition. The movement is in good condition and has been fully serviced; ultrasonically cleaned. Oiled, and adjusted and should provide many years of service. It keeps good time. It counts the hour on a nice cathedral gong and strikes once for the half hour. Waterbury Clock Company signature trademark is stamped on movement. This style of the trademark was first used C. 1895 and appears to have been changed in C. 1905. Based on the trade mark style the movement would have been manufactured between those dates. The clock comes with a pentagon shaped pendulum bob marked with a W but is not an original. The bottom sounding board is in good shape and has the numbers 2322 stamped in it. A double sided winding key is included but not an original key. Pleased to offer a wonderful antique Gilbert"Normandy Chimes" footed column mantel Clock. Very good inside and out with no damage. Just age wear, and not much of that. Needs a new bezel glass, needs a key, has a bit of smudging on the celluloid face, could stand to have the top only refinished. Measures 11" tall, 17" wide. Runs quite well and chimes function properly. Faux green marbleized column mounts are excellent, don't let the black parts trick you into thinking they have damage. This was found at an estate and know nothing about the restoration of them. However I do know that there are Clock Repair People out there that can use parts from this or will restore it. There is a paper label on the bottom to identify the{ SOLE MANUFACTURER} of the clock. The clocks mechanism is also inscribed; F. KROEBER. NEW YORK, PAT. JUNE 23, OCTOBER, 1874{ see photos} This Clock measures 10 1/4" T. x 15 1/2" W. x 6 1/4" D. There are decorative Dragons/ Gargoyles at the ends of the clock case, the right side back of one of these is missing a small amount of filigree. With the exception of this issue and a statue for on top which is missing, it is in good whole ... moresolid physical condition and has no cracks or breaks. It has a beveled glass bezel{ no cracks or chips} white enamel face{ no chips but does have two small very tight hairline cracks, one at the outside edge between 12& 1 and one between 10& 11 at the inside edge of the center ring, see photos} Included is the original key for winding and pendulum that came with the clock. The hinge for the glass face is in good solid working condition. overall this is a very heavy clock} This clock will surely make a valued addition to your parts and or restoration collection.
