There is wear on the finish on the cases and what may be called pitting. The numbers 11 77 4 are on the backs of both pieces, possibly a date? The interior rim of the clock is marked with a 41 in two places. The wood stand has wear on it from age as well. THE CLOCK GLASS HAS chip under/by brass ring- difficult to photograph. Neat old clock with an advertising in the face for wallpaper. Nice nickel bezel in pretty clean condition. Brass accent"posts" would look really sharp polished. The finish is alligatored on the back of the clock. Appears all original. And is running, but the hand needs to be re-attached, and the glass is cracked.2 tiny little nuts are missing from the back as well. Only 4 1/2" tall. My"educated" guess puts this in the 1940's. Made in bronze, with many pieces of marble, the bronze cherubs with goat-legs are very nice, see the pictures, Clock original mechanism is missing. A pretty and small antique polished slate clock Simple in shape. It is most likely French dating to the latter part of the C19th with a working wind up HAC Wurttemberg movement Incised decoration as shown. The clock has Roman numerals and black painted hands. The face appears to be printed paper I have wound the clock and it is keeping time nicely- no chimes. It has an adjustable S- F adjustment on the back There are a couple of tiny losses on the very edges of the slate roof. Most notably at front left corner but the back corners have too been bumped Bottom right of the plinth has a loss too. To the peak of the roof. This is a New Haven Clock Co Cast Iron Mantle Clock. It is a very beautiful and ornate piece. The clock appears to work as intended but i does not come with a key. The original pendulum went missing so i replaced it with a similar but newer piece. It is the exact weight needed to make this clock work. One of the gold metal feet was glued on by a previous owner, as pictured. This is a very beautiful clock circa 1910's. The glass front piece opens so the clock can be wound. The hands are in excellent condition. This clock does chime. This is a heavy piece because it is cast iron. I can see very little ware to the shell of this clock. The case is in good condition and the movement is in excellent condition(see pictures) I’ve had this clock running on my workbench for a couple weeks now. The date on the bottom is 1898. The hands. Glass, bezel and pendulum appear original. The key is old, typical of a Seth Thomas, but may not be original. The dial is a replacement. The label on the back is in great condition and readable. The adamantine finish is in very good condition. The clock measures 16 x 11 x 7 inches. On the back. The model name is stenciled, but I can’t read it. What is truly wonderful is that the stencil crosses from the top of the case to the back board and the letters ... moreline up, attesting to the originality of even the back board. 8 day quarter chiming ting tang circa 1900. Very good condition. Silvered brass 6" diameter dial. Movement overhauled and in good working order and case in very good condition. The clock stands 15" high, 10" wide, 6.25" deep. Beautifully crafted antique spherical desk clock in the form of an ball/ globe/ paperweight Vintage production but cannot be sure of age exactly. The clock has a mechanical top winder but has not been tested for accuracy The face is marked YUCHANG with a smaller marking of 19 jewels; 1882 just above the roman numeral 6. The clock has a glass vision back where the mechanism can be seen running strong. It also has a small flat area on the glass at the back so it can sit nicely on any flat surface. Antique Wood Mantle Desk Clock w/ chimes - jenny Lind turned accents 1900's
Here is a very unique chime clock. I can envision this clock sitting in a homestead home at the end of the 1800's to early 1900's. Seems to be over-wound. So not working. The chime mechanism does work, however. It is quite small- 10" high and 8.5" wide. There are two small pieces of veneer missing from the front panel of the base, and it looks like there was at one time a finial attached to the top center. The knob on the back to adjust the hands is missing. There is a split in the wood above and below the clock face. But overall a very cute, rare clock. There is a maker's mark on the face consisting of"Trade Mark" and a"J" inside of a star. Photos describe best.
