On the back is a metal ... moreplate with"Tyni Switch" on it and I assume is the model name. Also stamped in the black chassis is The Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn, and in another area 60 cycles. Clock motor 25 watt, and 110V AC. There are three wires for connecting the clock's electrical motor to a power source. One black, yellow and red wire. The clock is all metal with a round glass face plate. The brass edging is not real brass, but brass-plating. The four knobs are plastic. The face of the clock has a total of seven different colors used for the graphics. It is roughly 3 1/2 inches in diameter. About 3" deep, and weights about a pound. It looks like it belongs on the polished burl-wood dashboard of a 1949 Cadillac. The face-plate is in almost perfect condition. The scratches in the photos on the gold rim are from light reflecting off the brass plating. But there are very minute scratches from cleaning and polishing. But you only see them when the light hits them just right. They look like ones in a car's polished finish, which even a soft cloth can cause. You only see them in the right light. Three of the four control knobs are working. And you pull them out to engage the gears. Only the knob for the sleep setting is frozen and not working. The knob for the alarm is a little stiff and you have to wiggle it as you pull it out to engage the gears. We should assume the clock is not working. And is being sold as non-working. It's a really cool looking clock. With great colors, straight out the late 1940s early 1950s. I do not know the exact date of manufacture and its only a"best guess" on my part. But from the quality of the metal parts used in the construction, and the real glass face-plate, its a very nice clock, worth repairing or re-building. And then I reset it to the middle location and clock was running within seconds of the actual time. i do not know why this is there but it is probably some sort military setting for timing torpedoes or navigational applications. The black base that is mounted at the bottom is probably not the original way this clock was mounted, I mention this because my wife is from Ukraine and her father served in the Russian army during the Soviet Union era and he asked me to remove the base and there is three location hanging mounts on the back side and two of them are broken and suggested that some one had pulled it away from it's anchored location on the Submarine during the break up of the Soviet Union so he concluded it is a make shift base because it is made of plastic and the Russians did not use much of any plastic materials on Military equipment back then. This is for a vintage Cincinatti time clock. This is an early time clock with attractive wood grain case. Has glass door. There is also a metal tag inside it. This has cord but not working. I have never had one of these before so do not know what it needs to work. This is one for restoration as it needs to be fixed in parts, hinges of door, the metal plate is loose, some wood work needed but its a rare clock when done and has great potential at a low price. Rare Unusual Vintage Antique Waterbuy G L Time Switch Gallery Clock
Here is a very unusual(rare? Waterbury gallery clock- dial and movement are marked. Clock is 15 inches wide and 15 inches tall. Has a 24-hour metal setting dial with 2 pointers and at one time had 4 wires coming out of the bottom of the case. The label on the back says it was manufactured by the G L Time Switch Company in St Louis and has a couple diagrams. I have no idea what this clock was used for and had no luck looking on the internet. I assume the clock was used to initiate an electric current that would open or close a door/vault/ at the selected time by setting the points on the smaller dial. I'm sure some of you experts out there will know how this was used. I don't recall ever seeing one and I've been around clocks for some time now. Clock winds okay but is not running. Vintage Antique Metal Ansonia 8 Day Gallery Clock Running
Here is a nice looking 8 Day Ansonia gallery clock. Has a painted metal case that appears to be brass- but I'm not sure. Clock measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and has a 5 inch dial. Partial label on back. Antique Wag Clock - Dated 1832
Antique Wag clock dated 1832 on back and signed by what I do believe to be a German maker. Last time it was on the wall it worked fine. But it has been stored for about 5 years in a back bedroom. The clock comes with everything you see in the first picture, it is complete. Clock face measures 18" high by 13" wide. This clock was cleaned and new strings installed when I acquired it. I would prefer local pickup only as to not risk damage to the clock during shipping and also the weights of the clock alone weigh about 25 lbs. I will drive up to 50 miles to meet buyer if needed.

There are side windows through which the movement and the pendulum can be seen. A new glass window has been installed because the old one had some scratches on it. The full body of this beauty is made of NUT wood and the pendulum is an artwork on its own. The"roof" has 3 ornaments on it. The dail is made of paper with a candle wax layer on top of it to protect it from wearing(original process) It shows the time in Arabic numbers; the hands come in black metal. Of course the Junghans star is on the dial! The chime works by means of a gong. Mounted at the rear plate of the clock. The movement is hallmarked with a patent date of 1874 with the numbers 5 3/8 and a K. The movement is in extremely fine working condition and just needs to be set up with the pendulum and start it swinging. The rod that hits the coil gong has fallen off but otherwise the strike mechanism on the movement is also in fantastic working condition. The original label is difficult to see because it must have been stained over at some point when the clock was worked on. If the stain can be removed there is a tremendous antique label still intact. Nice Antique French Brass Carriage Clock in Case R & C Paris (Restoration) c1880
This nice antique carriage clock was manufactured by R& C of Paris. France. The brass clock measures 4-3/8" tall(not including the handle) x 3-1/4" wide x 2-1/2" deep. The brass casing is in good undamaged condition and none of the beveled glass panels are damaged. The main winding port just spins around with no resistance(unable to wind) The smaller winding port does not turn. The hand changing port works fine. The face appears to be enamel with Roman numerals. The seconds finger is missing. It comes with its original key and wooden case(the case is a little beaten) Certainly worth restoration and most definitely needs a good clean. The underside has a round bell like dome. 6-3/8" Antique Clock Dial This is a nice old English or German 6-3/8" clock dial. It is 7-1/8" to the outside metal rim. The top of the rim is dented but could easily be straightened with pliers. The dial has a beautiful embossed copper leaf and flower pattern in the center. The ivory Arabic time ring has an aged look and could be cleaned. Its uncertain what material the time ring is made of. The key holes are approximately 2-1/4" apart and a 1-1/4" from the center hole to the winding arbor. When cleaned this will make a beautiful dial. Shipping listed is for ONE ONLY. I will be listings several lots of various cuckoo clock parts this week. From an estate sale, some big cases, some weights, some miscellaneous parts. A case, and a lot of wooden parts, the pieces were all inside this case, but that is not necessarily proof they belong together. Maybe the auctioneer or new owner just put them there, but they might be related. There are a couple more cases coming later in the week so they might go to those also) This is the mechanism. It says Made in Germany and gives that number. It has a very long chain wound inside, and the little wooden bird on top opens its mouth when pushed up on tail. This is a truly wonderful antique dated 1898 New York Self Winding Clock Co. This clock is in very good condition considering how old it is and is in WORKING condition as it was tested both by hand and with batteries and everything appears to be working as it should and the pendulum is working as well, it might need to be adjusted a bit and some cleaning but otherwise in very good condition, the glass is still very nice with really no scratches, the dark spot you see on the face in one photo is just from my camera and not on the clock, the wood has pulled apart a bit on a couple of the seams due to age as you can see in the one photo, but it does not affect it in anyway it is a very sturdy and heavy clock and the inside of the clock is all made out of heavy brass. These clocks were known to be one of the best an very accurate and were synchronized ... morethrough Western U. Co. who owned them and would lease them out and would send out a signal that would keep all the clocks synchronized so they would all be running on the same time which was very helpful for the Train Stations and they have a self winding system so they rewind themselves. We have run the clock now for a few weeks and all parts are operational and functioning perfectly. this is an August Schwer designed Cuckoo Clock Cuckoo Clock with 8-day movement/ running time(mechanical) This clock is a very fine carving model with one of the classic clock themes. This is a hunting clock. All over the clock you will find elements of the hunt. Centrally on top of the roof is the deer head. Framed by two rifles adorning the roof of the clock. To the right and left of the dial are the hunted animals, in this case a hare and a pheasant. Framing the dial is a hunting horn, with its horn right under the dial ... moreand just above the powder pouch. Wooden dial. Hands, cuckoo, pendulum. size: 23 1/2 inches tall with deer antlers(19 inches without antlers) 11 1/2 inches wide, 9 1/4 inches deep; 2 x 1260g weights shaped as pine cones, color: walnut high quality Regula movement night shut-off. Inside in the works is stamped Made in West Germany. And Regula. This clock has a very cheerful bird. Which sings to you every half-hour– once on the half hour and strikes the number of the hours on the hour with cuckoos and a gong strike. When the cuckoo sings it pops out of its house, smiles at you while singing, and jumps back in and slams the door! Also you can see the original fancy pendulum swing with each passing second. The weights are very large– making this cuckoo clock run 8 full days! The case, dial, movement are in superior condition and the clock runs perfectly. This clock will be packed very carefully. Antique Johann Gottlieb Allfarth Ca 1772 German Crown Escapment Mantle Clock
What you are looking at here is a extremely rare mantle clock that was manufactured by Johann Gottlieb Allfarth of Urn Germany sometime during the end of the 1700's. Johann Gottlieb was the master of the clockmakers guild in germany in 1792. This clock is in amazing condition for being over 220 years old. The clock features a unique door on the top to reach the top of the movement and the bell. And the case is a two tone wood design. That appears to be 100% original with original finish, and the hole on the right side is where a pull string would have gone to activate the chime when setting the time. The dial is a porcelain dial, with a large domed glass bezel. And the hands are very unusual with the hour hand being the sun, and the minute hand being the moon. The dial has some damage towards the top, and a couple other small points. ... moreThe movement in this clock is a 30 hour crown escapement movement, with an alarm and chiming feature. The clock does run great, and keep decent time for it's age, but the chime and alarm do not work, I have not removed the movement to investigate for fear to damaging something, so I am just leaving it alone since it runs just fine without it. The back of the movement is marked with the manufacturer's signature, and this clock is one extremely rare find. I have been told that the exact date of the clock may be either on the inside of one of the plates, or inside one of the mainspring cylinders, but I have not checked for myself, but I know the clock must date from 1772- 1812(as marked on the sticker on the back door) Please take the time to review all the pictures I have included prior to bidding, I try very hard to describe everything in the listing before hand, but occasionally I do miss something here and there, so please be sure to check out each picture for the true quality and condition of this clock. The cabinet is mostly walnut and in excellent condition. There are hardly any dings in it at all. The original dial is still on the clock as well as the glass which is still puttied in. The clock runs on a signed Welch brass movement and it strikes on the half and on the hour on a coil gong. The gong has had a minor repair at one time. I have cleaned the movement in ultrasonic solution and oiled it and adjusted it and installed a new suspension spring. The clock now runs and strikes great. Germany. Royal Bonn was the introduction to a line of porcelain. Royal Bonn clocks are dresser clocks or mantle clocks. They are designed with a Victorian style and are one of the most attractive clocks in production. They add a touch of elegance and grace to any room. They are beautifully hand-painted with many different styles. Royal Bonn clocks are generally painted with bright and cheerful colors which is what makes them so unique. Royal Bonn clocks were manufactured in the 1800′s. Most of the early production of Royal Bonn clocks took place in Germany. They were exported to America to the Ansonia Clock Company. This piece is in outstanding condition and works great. The only imperfections are common ones. Two hairline cracks in porcelain face and a small chip by numeral IV. It measures 13.25" tall by 13.5" wide and is 5" deep. the glass face is 5.25" diameter It has The Ansonia trademark over six numeral and"Manufactured by Ansonia Clock Co. New York. United States Of America" under six numeral at porcelain edge. The movement has"Ansonia Clock Co. Patented June 14th. 1881 New York U.S.A. stamped at bottom. The open escapement and porcelain roman numeral dial are stunningly adorned with a finely gilded brass and beveled crystal glass bezel. impressive addition to any Ansonia collection. The markings(trademark) on the back are in perfect. Legible condition and there is a serial number located on the bottom of the housing. The housing was most likely manufactured in the 1700's.
