ANTIQUE 1880-90 19.5" PA FOLKY RAG DOLL. ORIG BLUE CALICO CLOTHES SUPER! AAFA
For your consideration is an ABSOLUTELY FOLKY and FANTASTIC LARGE PA Rag Doll. I hate selling her. My loss your gain. I bought her about 12 years ago on Ebay from a CA lady and it had been in her family since the late 1800's. She has orgiginal Blue Calico clothes with the wonderful sailor collar and original pantelets. She is made from muslin, hard cotton stuffed hand and treadle machine sewn. She is jointed body and in great condition. I am not sure if she had an inked face or not, the face is not discernable. I believe that the inked face may have been on the soiled side. I have shown her light side of her face since I have had her, the reverse is darkened. The interesting thing is that her hands face the same way as her light side face. Maybe a deft seamstress reversed the soiled side? Her knees and elbows are jointed. She has wonderful ... morenylon stockings. She is such a WONDERFUL folky doll. You will love her! Size: 19" high 7.5" arm 9" leg 9" waist Condition: Exceptionally good condition As noted above reverse of face is soiled and may be old face that was reversed. There is slight loss to mitten hands and slight soiling to body. The fastner on the skirt is missing the eye so secured with pin. Wear is commensurate with age. Please see photos for details. AAFA Rare 19th Century Coverlet Poor Man's Hunting Bag
Purchased in North Carolina. This is a very hard to find early hunting item known as a poor man's hunting bag, for small game. During the 1800s, there were not stores to run out and buy supplies so many just used what was on hand, even an old coverlet quilt! This one is made out of a woven overshot coverlet in dark reds and olive, with a wide canvas band in olive green and is canvas lined. It is all hand sewn and has a'patches' or musket ball tin pocket inside. It certainly has been used, and may have been made for a child. A great display item for a hunting cabin. Approximate age would be circa 1850s-1870s. The shoulder length is about 20 inches through the middle, about 9 inches wide by 9 inches in length.

RARE 14" EARLY AMERICAN TURNED WOODEN CANDLESTICKS AAFA PRIMITIVE TREEN
Rare. Early American Wooden Candlesticks in as-found condition. I personally pulled these out of a barn in central Wisconsin. I am not sure what type of wood they are made from. They are light in weight, yet sturdy. 14" tall from base to cup. The bases are 6" round. The skill and craftsmanship is apparent overall but especially considering the very thin neck and lower section. One cup has the metal insert, the other does not. Tiny, pencil-tip size, chip on one base. 1/4" split on cup of one. Normal wear/ patina to stained/painted surface. Minor scuffs. I have left these in as-found, primitive condition and they are as nice or nicer than those I've seen in museums. The color ranges from a deep mahogany, dark brown, and lighter reddish brown. Original red paint on the wood frame is worn and adds to the natural antique primitive look of this piece. Measures approx 16 3/8" x 16" Slate is good with no cracks. Being natural. The surface is not flat in all areas. There are some sections where there are some indents as shown in the photographs. Antique Primitive..Hand Made Forged Iron & Wood Milking Stool or Bench Seat AAFA
Antique Primitive.Iron& Wood Milking Stool or Bench Seat RARE.I have never seen another quite like this! The iron portion on this stool appears to be handmade. It has a solid. Rugged yet dainty base with simple turned up iron feet. It is likely the top was replaced at some point. As it is also in excellent condition! It appears to be a sturdy piece of rough sawn walnut. Made of heavy hard wood. This hanging on the wall of a deteriorating barn that was established in 1884. Measures approximately 11.5" Tall. Seat is 11.5" long and 8.5" wide. Such a cute. Unique item to use as a plant stand, stool or decorative stand in your home!
Antique American Homespun Linen Towel c 1840? AAFA NR
This is a wonderful piece of Americana. All handmade with wonderful hand rolled hems on the top and along one side. Notice the two tabs in either top corner for hanging. I believe they are original! The piece measure about 17 inches by 49. There is very light age spotting throughout as shown in the last picture. That area is where the most spotting can be seen. Try to find another! Good Luck!
AAFA ANTIQUE MOCHA WARE YELLOW WARE PRIMITIVE CUP AND PLATE
I purchased this RARE cup and plate from a dealer over 40 years ago. I don't believe the plate and cup go together. However, this is the way they were purchased. Therefore I will sell them together. Both plate and cup are in perfect condition with the exception of very minor scratching in the bottom of the cup. I supposed this was dur to over a 100 years of use. I estimate that these pieces are circa 1800-1850. I bought them from a trusted dealer and collector whom said that they are very early pieces. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PHOTOS VERY CAREFULLY. THESE ARE TRUELY BEAUTIFUL PIECES!

Folk Art Top Hat Mans Head 1930s AAFA Circus Carnival Ride Oddity Antique VTG
I had this item listed a few weeks ago and ended the 5 day auction 2 days into it. I was trying to find more info on the item. I wasn't very successful in doing so but I am just going to let this one ride out. Ultra Rare Carnival/ Circus ride. This is a thick paper mache type head. It looks like this would have mounted on to the ride and kids would have held onto the string( the string that is attached is inside of the top hat) almost like they are riding it. The top hat is an 19th C Folding hat. Very weird and definitely really odd. From pictures I have seen in old carnival books most of these heads also had hats like the one that comes with this. Right now I have the head mounted and standing on a vtg clip board( doesn't come with item) I have never seen anything like it for sale in a long time. There is some damage as seen in photos ... morethe hole in near left eye. And the tape and cracks on back steam but you can imagine what it has been through with years of use. There is a stem like backing with nuts and bolts so I am assuming it mounted to something. It is crazy that this is even still in one piece! It stands about 20 inches long and about 17.5 inches tall. If you have any other questions please ask! Don't miss out on this early folk art piece! PAYPAL PAYMENTS

Antique 1800s New England SHAKER Turned & Pegged Yarn Wool KNIT Niddy Noddy AAFA
CCP TEMPLATE TEMPLATE Primitive 1800's Niddy Noddy. Description This auction is for a wonderful antique niddy noddy with rare bent decorative stabilizers. I purchased this at an auction house in New England that was commissioned to sell pieces from a museum downsizing it's Shaker spinning wheels and accessories. It's a prized primitive treasure. A Niddy- Noddy is a tool used to make skeins from yarn. It consists of a central bar. With crossbars at each end, offset from each other by 90 degrees. The Antique Wooden Niddy- Noddy is Hand Made of Maple Wood and finely turned. There is a beautiful incised scribe that graces the center bar. The Antique Shaker Niddy- Noddy is mortised at each end and has Wood Peg Construction. The workmanship and construction is characteristic of the New England Shakers and their commitment to detail. ... moreThe Antique Wooden Hand Turned Niddy- Noddy is in Excellent Condition Strong with an Age Appropriate Patina. There is a Slight Minor Age Crack as shown in the photos at either mortised end as well as a single tiny age crack one center bar end. One round bent end is loose in hole. I suspect it's tip is worn from use. Can be pulled out and slight wedge inserted to repair if you choose. This adds to the authenticity, character, and age of this Antique Shaker Niddy- Noddy. This remains to be a very solid, usuable primitive piece without any weakness. See the many photos below that I have provided for your viewing which details these very minor, expected time related flaws. It just does not get any better than American Shaker Handmade. This is a beauty and sure to a prize in the lucky winners primitive collection. No reserve ~! Shipping Terms Shipping is by Priority Mail only. SWEET ANTIQUE BLUE HOMESPUN EARLY PRIMITIVE DRESS FROM OHIO FOR A PEGRACK AAFA
SWEET ANTIQUE BLUE CHECK HOMESPUN CHILD'S DRESS Description If you love sweet blue homespun this fabulous little child's dress is a'must have' for your collection. Check out all the pics below for more details. This measures about 18 inches long. It is about 10 inches across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. It buttons down the front off center and has a sweet little scalloped trim as you see in the pics and has little belt loops on the sides. There are a few small spots on it from natural aging but nothing to hurt the value of this and no holes or other problems. It is SO sweet for sure! The fabric is a light blue homespun check. The fabric has original selvages inside. It has been worn but is still in great shape. Treadle sewn and some hand stitching. A very sweet design and style that was popular from the late 1800's ... moreor early 1900's. Ruffled shoulder seams to make them puffy for that wonderful pioneer cabin dress style. This darling little dress could have been worn by a boy or a girl as they did back in the day. I found this in Ohio years ago and just had to add it to my collection because I love blue homespun checked fabric and this one has tiny checks so it is hard to find these days and I love early blues and child's clothing from the past so this displays great on your early peg rack or would be adorable worn by a toddler for an early pic. Add a nice little bonnet and button up shoes and old socks and this sweet dress is still totally wearable for a child and is MUCH better in person than my pics show. Proper wear as expected with a textile of this age and although there are a few spots from natural aging as I said it is still a true rare treasure and not one you find very often these days in this sweet style. You will LOVE it! Clean and in good shape with any apologies noted above. No pets or smoking in my home! This measures about 24 inches long and about 12 inches across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. It is all handmade so no tags inside to tell a true size but my son wore it for a sweet farm pic when he was about 4 years old and it was a great Easter memory from our gardens at our old farmhouse we owned when he was younger. The fabric is still SO strong and has a few age spots on it as you can see from the pics but no large holes or other apologies. I am guessing the dark spots are chocolate ice cream maybe from a fudge popsicle that melted and dripped on it and was not cleaned properly but the spots prove the true age and original condition of the sweet needful. It displays SO well on your peg rack of earlies and the color is gorgeous. As you can see from all the pics it has a nice style with a white sailor collar around the neck and it has handsewn button holes around the waist for the sweet old buttons that put the 2 pieces of this together. The tie is an old white shoe string that ties it at the top as you see in the pics.a unique make do improvision from a sweet mommy back in the day for her little boy. It is trimmed in white cotton as you
SWEET OLD ORIGINAL ANTIQUE BLUE CALICO PRAIRIE WORK DRESS & STRIPE APRON AAFA
ANTIQUE CADET BLUE CALICO FARMHOUSE PRAIRIE DRESS WITH APRON Description This is a fantastic ALL ORIGINAL 1800s antique blue ladies calico dress! Be sure to scroll down and see ALL the pics I have added for you. The first ones were done outside on a windy day as it is here in my part of the country and this sweet dress is hanging on an antique dinner bell outside at our farmhouse. The other pics are done inside in natural light so you can see more details but it has been hanging on one of my antique peg racks for a long time and it needs a good new home so you can enjoy it like I have all these years. Can't you just picture Tasha Tudor wearing this? This originally came from a private collector and has been very well preserved although it has definitely been worn back in the day and used for every day farm work and the sweet apron is ... moremore worn than the dress for sure. An absolutely FANTASTIC example of true American history from the early hardworking prairie days of our country.back when life was simple! ALL ORIGINAL! It does have some wear around the inside neckline and some small faded spots on the dress part and sleeves where it was probably worn while stirring a kettle over a fire and the steam might have caused the fabric to fade a bit but other than that there are absolutely no apologies on this dress and I don't consider those things apologies it just justifies the fact this IS a VERY OLD dress and is ALL ORIGINAL and is as found. Finding gorgeous dresses like this one is a rare thing these days as you know if you collect early blues or 1800's clothing. It was stored very well for many years and protected from the elements and is still strong and clean and very wearable today for your living history museum or reenactment needs. The sweet apron is also all original and as found and has lots of wear as expected for an early clothing piece. An inside pocket with a patch for storing valuables and an outside pocket with sweet decoration for a primfancy attitude. This is an OLD one.not newly made! Th
