When you pull it out, a portion of the chest top surface actually opens along with it creating a spacious work top perfect for a laptop or desktop computer. Featured in this auction is are a great looking vintage Steel frame desk and dresser with wood drawers and chrome handles. The steel frames on both pieces are in good condition and are solid, some light rust in places, very minor, easy to give the frames a quick paint job with black paint but they can certainly be used as is. The drawers are wood, I believe the grey paint on the sides back and interior is original, the brown on the faces is not, some scratches and small dings, some staining on the interiors, the drawer bottoms do sag a bit and are a bit loose in the channels.
