There are 6 chairs and 2 extra leaves for the table. Some small scratches are on the table but you have to look for them. The third to last picture shows one slight blemish. The color is off in that picture. The set is in excellent condition. Beautifully crafted and lots of style. The table has custom pads. You can make the table smaller by dropping one or both of the ends. Or you can extend it with extra leaves. The leaves are a higher gloss than the rest of the table. Victorian Painted Table & 6 Chairs/Stenciled / 2 Leafs
An exceptional design and quality can be found in this late 1800's dining set. The table is made from maple and the chairs are made from pine. Painted a mustard yellow color and stenciled in a fruit and leaf motif. This set would add color and character to a sunny breakfast nook. The paint on this is not original to the set. We believe it was painted in the 70's or 80's. The set includes four matching chairs. Each chair has brown pinstriping accenting the fine lines. On the top rail there is a gorgeous fruit and leaf motif. The chairs have plank seats. There is some age appropriate paint loss and scratches at the bottoms of the chairs especially on the rungs. The other two chairs are painted to match the set. And are structurally a little different. The seats and the back rails are designed a little different but they are painted ... moreto match the others. Two of the chairs are loose on the backs and will need to be re-glued. The height of the chair seat is 17" The table has pin striping around the entire edge of the table. This is also found on the edges of each leaf and on the table legs. Originally the table had casters but hese were lost long ago. There is age appropriate paint loss and scuffs to the legs of the table also. The height of the table is 28" and it has a width of 43.5" The table closed measures 52.5" Each leaf is 10.5" opening fully to 73.5" There is a small crack that starts on the edge but it does not go all the way through. This can be filled in and repainted. Both sides of the table have the same fruit& leaf motif but painted larger. Preview is available by appointment. The detail is second to none and I included a picture of the feet against my hands(I'm 6'3 with very large fists) The table has some nicks, scrapes, bumps, and missing veneer but is in overall excellent condition. The underside of the table has been secured with wood to ensure rigidity. You can convert the table back to being able to expand easily. Very minor. 6 CHAIRS: 1 Captain and 5 regular all hand carved and matching. 17 1/2" deep x 19 1/4" wide x 42 1/4" high. BUFFET/SIDEBOARD all HAND CARVED 73 1/2" wide x 22 1/2" deep by 37 1/2" high. Carved, ornate Italian wood expandable dining table and 6 carved chairs - c 1890
Italian dining set c. 1890. Heavily carved, ornate, beautifully crafted. The carving work is exact, clean, rich. The table is 78.5"x41"x29" tall. I'm not sure how wide it slides open for additional leaves. It separates from the bottom legs on one side and seems to slide open for a few feet. I don't have leaves. So I have not opened it. It was put into the dining room for staging and sat for a few years as a focal point for the room. Six chairs. New seat cushions, good support and structure. Write with questions. Some chair backs have cracks here and there. The top of the the table has superficial wear. They are 120 years old and from Europe. Use and wear is fitting. The table still has a price tag on it from importing. Light use for dressing a home. The carvings are wonderful.

Up for auction is a high Society Victorian solid White oak and Quarter-sawn Oak Chairs. This table is all original. Table leaves and chairs are all original to this table. Table is 48" x 52"and is 28" tall, however extended all the way out with all 6-leaves, this table is a monster 10-feet long. What are the best options on this table? You tell me! is it the hidden compartment to hide all the table leaves? Is it the highly carved chairs that are all tiger oak and have NorthWind/Gargoyle faces carved all over them, or is it the Paw legs that are also quarter-sawn oak, or is it the center column that is also tiger oak and is ready to bear the load of the middle when this thing is open to 10-feet. ANTIQUE BARLEY TWIST TABLE 6 CHAIRS RESTORED
This table and 6 chairs have been totally restored. All joints. Nicks, upholstery and repairs have been completed. The pieces are all solid English oak, the upholstery is new. The party I purchased it from advised their grandparents brought these items over from England. It appears the items are probably 100 years old. The four dining chairs and table were a set. The 2 high back chairs appear to have been made by the same manufacturer. The dining room chairs are 34 1/2" high 16 3/4" wide. The high back chairs are 44 1/2" high 17 1/2: wide, all seats are 18 1/2" from the floor. The table with both leaves extended is 54" wide when opened
