Offered is one antique 54" round tiger oak dining table with Griffin ball and claw feet and 6 tiger oak dining chairs with paw feet. This is a magnificent set that has been in our family for a while but we are now redecorating. The set has a very nice warm and inviting patina from decades of loving use. Look at the massive. Hand carved talon feet on the table! The detail is second to none and I included a picture of the feet against my hands(I'm 6'3 with very large fists) The table has some nicks, scrapes, bumps, and missing veneer but is in overall excellent condition. The underside of the table has been secured with wood to ensure rigidity. You can convert the table back to being able to expand easily. No leaves are included and the additional rail and pedestal extension are not included. The chairs are not original to the ... moretable but go well with the table. All chairs have caned seating and 4 of the 6 are functional. 2 chairs will need the caning replaced. Notice that the chairs are in excellent shape and are all sturdy but do have some nicks and bumps with one of the chairs with the broken caning having damage on the backside as pictured. Mid 1800's Jacobean dining set - 8 chairs + table, buffet, side table-11 pieces
This is a mid 1800's Jacobean refectory dining room set. The carvings are absolutely beautiful. These are very solid pieces. Probably quarter-sawn oak. There are 8 chairs- 6 regular and 2 captain- that were completely taken apart and refitted, reglued and reupholstered about 10 years ago. The table has some veneer chips on the top edge, and the side table has some finish issues on the bottom shelf, but otherwise everything is in great shape. Antique Large Mahogony Dining Room Table With Mix Matched Chairs
I have had this table for 3+ years. It is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. All together opened up it measures 48" wide by about 111" long. It is from the 1800's so it has eye and hook which connects the 3 pieces together and swing out extra legs to add strength and stability to the drop down leaves on the center piece. There are normal wear and tear for a piece this large but nothing substantial. The legs are beautifully crafted and it is a very solid table without being super heavy. The 6 chairs that came with it have repair damage on 2 of the chairs. It can seat 12 so I have 4 other chairs that do not match the other chairs and I also added 2 other mix matched chairs to seat all 12. I can't think of anything else about it but am open to any questions you might have. C1900, manufacturer unknown. Table with a 60 inch diameter top with carved frieze and standing on a heavy carved pillar pedestal with 4 large carved oak legs ending in ball& claw feet. Table has 9 original leaves, 2 with skirts that measure 12 inches wide and 7 plank leaves that measure 8 1/2 inches wide. Table when fully extended will measure 143 1/2 inches. Table does need some TLC work as the hinges for the drop down support legs are bent and legs are not solid standing when dropped. Some finish wear to top and pedestal due to age and use. The twin pillar table with its extra 18in leaf extends the table from 71.5 in to 89.5 inches long. Is supported on classic‘gun barrel’ pillars with tripod legs that have convenient casters, and the chairs are in the Hepplewhite design with attractive striped fabric. Arm chairs are 38.5H 21w 22.5D. Arms 27.5H, seats 19H. Side chairs are 38.5H 21W 22.5D, seats 19H.
