Carved ogee edges on marble top. There is an old repair to the marble but it blends in well. A carved solid wood framed mirror is attached to the back of each cabinet and can be removed and will be for shipping/moving. Original bronze hardware. The inside of the drawers is lined in a blonde veneer(most likely maple) The legs are splayed. All three finished sides are bombe in style. Crotch Mahogany Marble Top Victorian Commode
This is a great commode from the 1840's. It is crotch mahogany and walnut with cut crystal glass knobs. There is a small repair in the bottom right portion of the right door(see photos) This commode has the original finish and is structurally sound. The left door locks with a hook. Dimensions are 30 inches high. 30 inches wide, and 15 1/2 inches deep. The marble top has dimensions of 31 1/2 inches wide, 15 1/2 inches deep and an inch thick. The marble top can be used or removed with ease. The marble top is white in color with gray striations. The top board under the marble is solid walnut.

This is part of my parents estate. I found the receipt for it. They purchased it in 1977 for $295.00. This was one of two bedside tables that they had in their room. The other one is already sold.
