The beveled edge marble top is original to the piece and has the marble candle stands intact. Marble is in wonderful antique condition with no chips or cracks. This is a fabulous 19th century piece that can be use about anywhere in your home for a lamp table or side table. It features ornate heavy brass original hardware and has its original brass casters intact on the base. This table measures 30 1/4 inches in height.36 1/2 inches wide and 20 1/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 45 lbs. This nightstand/ side table features a solid mahogany top( top does have some scratches from use) with a single storage drawer below with period dove-tailed ends and ornate heavy brass pulls. This is a splendid size washstand that would make a terrific bed side stand/ nightstand.This 19th century washstand features its original marble top. Beautiful carved pulls with dove-tailed joinery on the ends and oval race-track molding on the drawer front. A storage cabinet below arched molding on the recessed panels on the doors. We believe this piece to have its original casters intact on the base. This washstand measures 29 1/4 inches in height.31 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches deep and weighs approximately 60 lbs. This is late 18th century. Early 19th, authenticated by Mr.Dick Withington. His auctions brought dealers from all over and I wanted this piece for a night table. It is perfect for that, even with its crack and scratches. I paid $700 way back when I bought it.

I was very happy when I paid over $450 for this antique washstand at a very reputable shop. Sadly. I did let water seep into the wood on the top. The top is not warped in any way, but the stain is white and has been damaged, so I will be selling this for a low price. Plus, I am moving and can not take all my things with me.

This 19th century washstand features lovely period Eastlake carvings. Burl walnut panels on the drawer and door fronts, period dove-tailed ends on the drawers and what we believe the original casters intact on the bass. Charming 19th c Victorian Oak Marble Top Half Commode Washstand Nightstand Being presented for sale is this charming 19th century Victorian Oak Marble Top Half Commode/ washstand/ nightstand. We believe this piece to have its original finish as well as the original marble top and features substantial carved columns that flank the cabinet door with picture frame moldings and raised panels of oak accenting the door. This piece rests on four large bun feet and with the back being chamfered as well as the bottom side of the drawer. Its solid and tight with no issues noted other than normal wear from age and usage. This 19th century half commode is a perfect size to be placed about anywhere you need a small cabinet and would be a fabulous piece next to a bed for a nightstand. Being offered for sale is this lovely Flamed Mahogany Empire ~ Victorian Marble Top Washstand with Key circa 1860's.This beautiful 19th century washstand features gorgeous flamed mahogany.A beautiful marble top with a shaped backsplash and marble shelf, its original drawer pulls, with early hand-cut dove-tailed ends on the drawers, a chamfered back,inside of doors and drawer bottoms and casters intact on all four feet. This 19th century washstand measures 39 1/2 inches tall to the top of the marble backsplash.31 inches tall to the top of the marble at the front,33 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches deep and weighs approximately 100 lbs. The marble shelf measures 31 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches deep. The marble top appears to be an old replacement and has no chips or cracks but some slight staining as common with old marble. There is an area ... moreup under the left shelf bracket that has been"colored in" with white perhaps to cover a stain and blends very well and not very noticeable at all in my opinion unless very close inspection. The lock is intact on the doors below but the key provided just aids in opening the doors and doesn't work the lock. On the right side there is a small square opening about 1 inch where there once was a pull out towel rode but its no longer present. Just a splendid 19th century transitional Empire into Victorian era washstand that would be a great addition to a Victorian bedroom as a bedside nightstand. Please view. This lovely 19th century washstand features a single serpentine front flamed mahogany storage drawer with its original flamed mahogany wood pulls and period dove-tailed ends. The storage area below features gorgeous recessed panels of flamed mahogany surrounded by beaded molding on the doors that are chamfered inside and have a vintage replaced lock and working key. This Empire washstand is in wonderful antique condition for being around 160 years old. Its tight and solid but does show some small areas f veneer loss around the feet and a spot on the backsplash which is common in these old period Empire pieces and not an issue in my ... moreopinion. This piece would be a perfect companion to a Mahogany Empire bed as a fine bedside table/ night stand.
