It's not perfect but still looks pretty good. All of the drawers are dovetailed. The back of one of the larger drawers has split in half and is missing the top section. Beautiful Antique Reuge Musical Baby Brush West Germany
Offered here at auction for your consideration is a very sweet well preserved antique musical baby brush made in West Germany. The music box plays a lovely tune when it is wound and the little stem pulled out(unknown) and is marked Reuge St.Croix. The brush itself is excellent with no missing bristles that I can see. The top is quite decorative with swirls of silver and little flowers.Not sure if it is silver or silverplate. There is a label on the handle which reads: C.H.Schafer Pforzheim No. 17010M It is stamped West Germany and on the winder it is marked Reuge St.Croix. Happy Bidding! Antique Oak Larkin Bureau / High Boy
Antique bureau/ high boy. I believe it is oak. But I am not positive. I was told by an antique dealer that it is a Larkin, but there are no stickers or marks on the back to prove it. Great carved detail on each drawer. The top surface has some wear to it, but it is not noticeable unless looking very close. The white shown in the picture is paper towel stuck in the very small cracks. The four bottom legs have wheels for easier maneuvering. Size is about 4' tall x 2' 9' wide x 1.5' deep. There is a small lip on the back at the top, which I previously used to rest an antique mirror when it was up against a wall. It looked great, and put use to the lip, where there was originally supposed to be an attached decorative piece.
