Be advised that the eye on the other side of the bird's head had chipped paint. Hopefully someone will be able to repair this or find a new purpose for this item. This bird weighs 8oz. It is 4.5" long(from the tip of the beak to the tip of the tail) The bottom of the tail is marked, GESCHUTZT" and there are numbers underneath. Large HAND MADE Copper ? EWER with Lid Amazing Piece Primitive Art
Amazing estate sale find! Large hand made metal ewer with lid I am not expert in this area but I believe this is copper and was hand made. You can be the judge of this by the pictures and asking me questions. Amazing and very cool primitive piece. Do not know what the metal is made of but guessing copper. Measures 15" tall and 8 1/2" across. Condition is good. Does have signs of age with some wear and some minor and typical dings. Lid and handle appears to have been hand made and hand forged to fit this item. Please ask questions before placing your bid.

This is a great box for any use where you want a light weight approximately 8-1/2" L x 5-1/2" W x 3" D tin box. Each side depicts a different pub scene in the 1700s dress. The bottom is stamped Container Made in Belgium. There is a locking mechanism but no key. The box in fairly good condition. There is some minor spotting on the top surface and some tin loss on the bottom but these do not material affect the appearance. The inside is in good condition with bright tin. Happy Bidding!

A very unique and interested Asian style covered urn on three legs. The urn has an aged look with green oxidation. It measures 14 inches tall with the lid on top. 8.75 inches tall without the lid. The head is made of real bronze and is a representation of the skull of Aknot the leader of the Mangalore's whoa beautiful girl comfortably resting.This ethereal sculpture was crafted using the lost wax method. It rests on a black marble base. It is signed by artist Fisher. The Art of Lost Wax Lost wax casting has been around for thousands of years. Yet few people understand how the process actually works. Although mechanization has facilitated the lost wax process of bronze casting. The procedure is basically the same as that used ... moreby the Chinese when they first developed the process in the 2nd millennium BC. The Rubber Mold First the artist creates an original sculpture out of any number of media. Including stone, wax, clay, wood and pottery. This image is coated with a silicone rubber molding material that makes two rubber mold halves(each rubber mold has a front and a back piece) A fiberglass outer shell is added to the back of each mold so it retains its shape and rigidity during subsequent uses.
