VINTAGE 1929 MCCLELLAND BARCLAY BRONZE BOOKENDS
Hello Bidders- I have a really special treat for art and animal lovers. Here is a set of bronze bookends by artist McClelland Barclay. There were two different sizes of this bronze made and I have both of them. This auction is for the smaller 7 5/8 inch tall bronze bookend. The base measures 3.5 squared. The pieces are signed and original. I found them in a 100 year old clothing store in Cleveland. TN in a storage room. Really beautiful patina and a great find. AWESOME VANITY TRAY I love this tray and its been a part of my collection for many years. I am finally willing to part with it. Its got a pink color velvet fabric inside, its not perfect, some light staining and discoloration in areas from age, but its pink and what girl doesn't love pink. Its got great porcelain pieces on the 2 sides of a lady and mad and its got great filigree work around its perimeter. Its a nice heavy piece and made well. IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS This is amazing and I cant believe I am parting with it. So rare and so stunning. I think its a murano piece but I am not 100% certain but its made so well and the attention to detail is incredible and its extremely large. I hope you can get an idea for how large this piece is from the photos. Its got a ton of these amazing crystal flowers and some are clear and some are amber and its got a great gold patina frame. This is an unusual piece. I really don't know what it was used for it seems to be a dish that might've been use on a desk to hold something small. Connecticut's largest hardware producer, and were quite famous for their work. This piece has often been copied, but none are ever quite as good as the original! VINTAGE CHILD KNEELING BY POND CAST IRON DOOR STOP
Up for bid is this beautiful vintage nude child kneeling by pond doorstop. The child is sitting on his or hers knees besides a pond th at is shaped like a li lly pad. The stop is about 7 1/4" tall from the table to the top o f the childs head. The pond is about about 6 1/2" wide and about 4 1/4" from front to back. The doorstop weighs 4lbs 10 oz.The paint has chipped and wo r n off in places all around the door stop. There is a spot(chip) on the front left side lip of the lilly where it looks like it has been repaired in the past(pic) Other than that spot. The s top is in good shape and is solid. Vintage Cast Iron dog puppy on pillow Doorstop
Estate found this is 5.5" tall cast iron dog puppy doorstop sits on a 7" wide painted pillow. Cute dog seems to have the RCA Victor dog Nipper pose. As can be expected with these old doorstops there is some loss of surface paint and some flaking. Part of one ear is broken off. Looks natural from the front and a little black paint will make it look more natural from the side and rear. Nice item to add to your collection! Please email with any questions. Arts Crafts Elizabeth Eaton Burton Style Hammered Lamp Shade Original Patina
Very well done handmade hammered brass lamp shade from the Arts& Crafts era. Resembles work by Elizabeth Eaton Burton both in construction. Design and subject matter. Many of her shades had similar concentric oval designs such as this which has beautiful oak trees incorporated into the design. There are many examples of her work featuring the oak tree motif as well. Not signed, but many pieces by her were unsigned. This was purchased from a California estate; she did most of her work in Santa Barbara. Original patina, lined in brass mesh, 15 3/4" wide by about 5" tall. Antique hand wrought copper 2 handled cup laver
Antique hand-wrought. Well-made two handled copper cup, with no cracks or breaks, in excellent condition as shown. Cup is 5" high and 5" wide across opening at top. Copper is thick and feels substantial, with light verdigris speckling at rim. Based on the visual evidence, this may be a 19th century Jewish eastern European laver for ritual handwashing, but I don't know enough about the subject to make any definite claims. In any case, this is a robust hand made piece in fine condition with a lot of presence. Free shipping on this item is ONLY available within the continental United States. Collection of vintage brass candlesticks
I've pulled together of candesticks I've acquired but have not used in a while. The lotus design piece is made in Hong Kong; the two smaller are made in China; the medium one has a label but it is too worn to read. Sizes range from 7" for the lotus flower to 2-1/2" for the smallest. All hold conventional size candles. I have not re-polished lately and won't do so because some people like the patina. Up for sale is a beautiful antique Islamic copper tea kettle or teapot from Persia or the Ottoman Empire. At least 100 years old- has patina that takes years to form. Made of fairly heavy copper with applied copper decorations on both the kettle and lid. Measures 12" to the top of the fixed handle and 12" to the tip of the spout. Signed on the bottom in Arabic script. Guaranteed old and authentic. An unusual piece with the applied copper medallions. In very good condition- there are a few tiny green specks on one side. The light purple spots on photos 1& 6 are glare from the flash and not on the piece. Kettle is water-tight and usable. A great old piece.

KREAMER TINWARE. Large storage container with hinged lid and latch. 10 1/2 inches tall, 9 1/4 inches diameter(exterior) Heavy- 2 lbs 15 oz. empty. KREAMER' stamped inside the lid. Black glossy paint on the outside, including the bottom of the container. Unpainted on the inside. Container has 2 handles and a hinged lid with latch but the catch on the side is missing. Decorative painting designs on the outside and lid were added after the catch was removed because the painted design covers that part of the container. Paint is crazed and the bottom has shelf wear. If you don't like the old painted decorations. remove all the paint and re-decorate yourself. Apply a base coat then use fabric instead of paint for the outside. So many possibilities for a large container with a hinged lid!

V. Old Antique Brass Water Jug, 1800s, Indian/Ottoman, sourced in N Africa
On auction is one very old brass jug. I sourced this in Sudan which was dug out of an old. Destroyed house and saved it from going to be melted. This piece is hefty and made for years of use. Antique experts in Sudan estimated it to be from the 18th or 19th century period of Egyptian/Ottoman rule in Sudan. They guessed this based on the quality of work and what they described as a typical Ottoman design on either side of this jug. At 1.1 kg(nearly 2.4 pounds) this piece is an ancient find that was built for use. The base seems to have a very old repair on it probably made by those who were using it. The spout. Although quite stoutly made in its own right, also seems to have had a very early repair on it as well. Yes. I had cleaned this carefully with Autosol when I first found it. I had to to see what it was and as I didn't have any intention ... moreof selling it at the time, I cleaned it for display with some of the other wonderful things we found in the Sudan. This piece stands just over 9" tall, is about 10.25" long and is about 4.5 inches wide. When it cleaned it some years ago. I found that the bottom patch weeped a bit. However, the spout poured straight and true. A truly wonderful piece. However. As we have hundreds of pounds of antique copper and brass, we are starting to move things on.
