Set the mood in your vintage home or artsy apartment with this antique pewter, pear shaped, (1850s?) Queen Anne coffee pot. It's in great condition, heavy, ... moresolid, not cracked or rusted, although the finial is filed down. Purchased in Massachusetts 25+ years ago. Purposely never polished. 7" high, 8" wide, opening 3". Hinged lid. Weighs 1 lb 8 oz before packing. We think it is English. As for the finial, perhaps a replacement can be made by a metalworker. The original might have been shaped like a beehive, because the pewter mark on the bottom is that of a bee -- though we can't identify the maker. Nice for a shelf or mantle, closed for display, or opened to hold pens or dried flowers.

Antique Pewter 8 3/4" plate American or English
Early plate just a hair under 8.75 inches across Unique and rare it is a very shallow plate under 1/2 inch Here is what I can say about this plate. While it has a tag that says American Henry Will which would place the plate as being made in the late 1700s. While it does have the characteristics of American make of that age. I cannot guarantee that it is a Will because the one reference I have on H Will marks does not seem to match although he did make 8.75" plates- as did other early American makers. Note the condition. Crack and hole in middle, bite" off rim, typical scratches and some light knife marks. Fine scratching all around the edge- almost seems like it was done on purpose to be decorative? Nice dark patina but not pitting through at all. About the marks- they are very faint. There looks to be the typical 4 small marks(sorry ... morecamera cannot do anything more to pick them up) The first looks to be a bird or eagle with wings spread. Second and third show a little but too far gone to venture a guess. Fourth could be the tops of initials. There may be a large touch that may be a lion rampant- but to be fair maybe I have my mind wanting some wear pattern to look like a touch- it is quite faint. So the markings are consistent with American make. But also with English makers. The booge is veryshallow and does not look to be hammered. Plate bottom has incribed circle line as do many American plates. So there it is. Issues but still very nice piece of pewter- and if you are better at identifying marks than I am, mabe you will find it to be as rare as I suspect. I have some other pewter listed. So take a look for possible combined shipping. Good luck and early bidding appreciated. Expertly packed so you get it in great shape. See my Positive Feedback and Buy with Confidence! QUESTIONS and COMMENTS Please email me with any questions or concerns or requests for other photos before bidding. But please give enough time to answer- I am happy to answer any and all questions but last minute questions are a prob
Antique 18th Century John Jupe Large Pewter Charge English Signed
Early 18th Century Pewter Charger Old estate find from the home of a collector. This is a nice 18th Century Pewter Piece. It was made by John Jupe(1737-1760) in London. It is marked on the back with a touchmark of a rose with a Fleur-de-lis and IOHN above, IUPE below with curved reserves and a palm frond to either side on the underside of the rim. The secondary mark is a rose with crown, above that it says MADE IN and below it should say LONDON, but the London is hard to make out. There is a quality mark of an X with a crown above that is stamped on the underside of the rim between the two marks. The charger has a hook on the back for hanging. It is in good antique condition with a dark ring mark near the bottom and some tarnish on the left rim and a little rough spot. I have not tried to clean it. The charger measures 16.5" across. ... moreNice Early Antique English Signed Pewter Piece. Great antique collectible. thanks for looking. Please email with any questions. The items that I sell are primitives/antiques/vintage items that I find and would buy for myself. I try to describe each item as well as I can but I am not an expert. I sell on ebay for fun and enjoy the people I meet here. I do not leave negative feedback and hope that if you are not happy with an item that we can work out any problems.

Antique English pewter half pint measure, marked
This antique measure has a very faded inscription on the front that seems to date it to May 15. 1811. It is very hard to read, and the rest is even more rubbed off over 200 years. There are two touch marks, one on either side of the handle: one is E R with a crown in the middle and one is WR under a crown. There are also the letters LCC and 239. Which I believe means the region. W R means it is made to the pre-imperial William III ale standard. ER is an enigma. May be William and Mary? The measure is quite heavy(I believe this one contains lead) and in good shape for its age. There are some marks on the rim and faint dings consistent with age. This measure came from a collector’s estate. With a note that said“18 th century. William and Mary William III ale standard Pre imperial Mutchken” Measurements are: 4 ½” handle to rim. 3 ½” ... moretall. Free domestic expedited shipping. ANTIQUE ENGLISH PEWTER CHURCH OFFERING PLATE WYKE PRIORY
I don't know how old this offering plate is. I am guessing 17th or 18th century because of the quaint inscription stamped around the rim of the plate in capital letters: FEARE GOD AND OBAYE THE KING WYKE PRIORY" There is a very worn decoration stamped into the bottom of the offering plate; on the bottom is a trademark depicting a bell with two words in capital letters underneath it; the first word begins with the letter"S" and the following letters are so worn I cannot read them. The second word underneath reads"HARDMETAL" The offering plate displays many small dents, bumps and surface irregularities owing to the very high lead content of the pewter from which it was made. It measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter and is 3 inches deep. The diameter of the base is 6 inches. Overseas bidders will pay more for shipping ... morethan the amount given in the auction. Add this very unusual old English pewter offering plate to your collection!

Early Antique London English Pewter Lidded Tankard Stein Hallmarks
Here is an early antique lidded pewter tankard. It has several hallmarks on the bottom including a larger one with a crown and plumes on the side. I believe this hallmark indicates it was made in London. Below are 4 smaller marks one I can tell is a lion. The tankard stands about 7" high to the top of the lid. The base is about 5" wide. It has a unique shape to it and added rings for decoration. There are a few minor dings. But I suppose that is to be expected on an older piece like this. Shipping is available Monday-Friday.
