VINTAGE K&O ( Kronheim & Oldenbusch) (K & O) WHIMSICAL HORSE not KENTUCKY DERBY
Anyone who has been following the auctions I have been running featuring vintage KENTUCKY DERBY/CHURCHILL DOWNS memorabilia will most likely be interested in this cute cute cute horse I have up for bids in this auction. Check out the photograph I have attached of his facial expression. This guy looks like he's ready to win the KENTUCKY DERBY judging by that look on his face and the way he is prancing around. Though KENTUCKY DERBY or CHURCHILL DOWNS is not printed anywhere on it. I remember finding it in a box with some vintage KENTUCKY DERBY and CHURCHILL DOWNS items that I bought many years ago at an auction in Louisville, so it was possibly originally purchased in LOUISVILLE, at CHURCHILL DOWNS by the previous owner. I DO know that the date 1936. Or it might be 1930. It's difficult to read the last digit, is printed on the horse's ... morebelly along with the K& O maker's mark. Making this horse almost eighty years old. Kronheim& Oldenbusch(K&O) of Brooklyn. New York, manufactured many different kinds of metal objects from the early 1900s to the early 1940s. This well respected company's artistic creations have become much sought after by collectors of vintage metal objects. As can be seen from my photographs. The piece is MINT as MINT can be. Large Brass Figurine of A Girl Standing On A Chair
For your consideration is a brass reproduction(it's not signed) of Juan Carlos' Girl Standing On A Chair(Although I do not know the exact title of the original piece) I believe this piece is very old.early 20th century. Please check the condition description and the photos. There are NO fractures on this but there is oxidation and wear. Brass Buckles From Antique Horse Bridles: Tarnish, Patina Early 1900s
Six beautifully aged brass buckles salvaged from antique horse bridles. I am assuming that they are solid brass in that they have been exposed to every element over the years and they would have rusted if they were another metal. I believe they are hand forged as there are many slight differences: no two are exactly the same. Four measure approximately 2-1/8" X 1-7/8" these are outside measurements) and the other two. A little smaller, are about 1-7/8" X 1-5/8" There is no damage. But they are tarnished. I have done no clean up or polishing as a new owner may prefer their present appearance. ANTIQUE COLD PAINTED Vienna-Style Japanese BRONZE Scotty Terrier DOG Figurine NR
Up for auction I have a cute little miniature scotty dog or some type of terrier in the cold painted bronze Vienna- style. This little guy. However, was made in Japan, as embossed on his underside. I cannot make out what the maker's mark inside of the diamond shape says. This piece is about two inches long. I can get better measurements if needed. I assume it is bronze, but it could be a different metal, I am not entirely knowledgeable about types of metal. There is a loop on the dog's collar which may have held a leash or something. There is an unusual hole in the dog's mouth. Where he must have held something, or perhaps where he is meant to hold something(almost the size of a pencil or cigarette) Some paint is flaking off, as is usual for an old piece like this. 18th century kettle. Original it was used as a water kettle on the table and not as a water cooking kettle. They they made an extract of tea and and poured water on it in the china bone cup. So this is why the kettle is so decorative.

Beautifully detailed pair of Victorian brass candlesticks on marble bases depicting a boy playing with his dog. Old Antique Vintage Copper Metal Vase, German / Germany Pre-World War II
Up for auction is a copper vase. It stands about 10 inches high. The base is 3.25 inches diameter, the lip is 4” diameter. The bottom has a hallmark and the words“Made in Germany. Since it is old and used and not new. It being sold in“as is”condition. Carefully view the photographs to see its exact condition. I’m not sure how old it is; but it was made before the War because if it were made after it would specify“East Germany" or"West Germany. I obtained it around 1978. I don't know what the maker's hallmark signifies. It can use a cleaning. Has some normal wear and tear including minor scratches. The base shows damage in the form of a 1 1/8 inch impression.
