Few manufacture air bubbles: chip, crack and damage free. Height of the glass is 6.15 inches. Bowl diameter is at 4.5 inches, and rim diameter is at 2.5 inches! Owned from the late 1990's. Up for bid we have a pair of beautiful white mantle lusters. I believe them to be from the 1920's. They came out of an estate sale. They are 10 1/2 inches high with a 4 1/2 inch base. Each prism is 7 inches in length. There are 4 prisms that each have one minor chip. There is some very minor wear to the gold trim. Also one minor chip at the base of one of the lusters. Pair Antique Sandwich Opalescent Flint Glass Curtain Tie Backs c 1850 Offered for sale is this rare pare of opalescent flint glass and pewter curtain tie backs. In an unusual round style with deeply molded swirls. They were made by Boston and Sandwich and date to circa 1850. The glass is heavy flint glass that rings like metal when tapped, and is of a fiery opalescent color. They have their original pewter 2 piece posts. Each piece is 4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide. When installed. The tiebacks stand 3 1/2 inches out from the wall. The pair weighs 12 oz(shipping weight 1 lbs) Condition: The pair is in excellent condition. Save for a few nibbles and the usual swirls and imperfections of such early glass. There is one tiny crack at the rim, very minor, as pointed out by the red arrow in the closeup picture. Up for your consideration is this scarce Victorian Wax Valentine. The piece depicts Little Red riding Hood and the Wolf and was lovingly put together. The dome is blown glass and Red Riding Hood and the Wolf are both hand painted. There are cloth flowers and leaves with a natural sprig of grass. The base is made of a stiff card board material. The feet are made of some type of ceramic material and one foot is missing. There is tape holding the base to the glass dome and another piece of tap e on the bottom that reads"Grandma Moore had this on her dresser" I believe these were made in Germany.Red Riding Hood is also missing her forearm. Description This antique circa 1870's Victorian Opaline glass vase of pale opaque buff colour. Has a rich red amber colour when held to a light. It is hand blown of rounded body shape with waisted flaring neck and ball above the stepped shoulder with opaque enamelled flowers and foliage. This nice little vase, ideal for wild and delicate garden flowers, has a ground and polished rim and no pontil mark. It is in good condition apart from the gilded rim is very worn with only traces left and there are a couple of little nicks which were done when the rim was cast and polished. Height 16.6cm. It is made of a beautifully coloured antique Bristol Green glass- which has a lovely subtle veridian green tone- it has a sparrow beak shaped lip for pouring- and is fluted al around the main section of the body- it has a round foot with old ground down pontil- lovely decorative twisted glass handle(as can be seen in my photographs) No chips. Cracks or damages, except for a little rough edge to one of the ribs on the handle.
