A rare old power piece with 3 skirts. Smooth base and incused into the skirt- with embossing surround a crown- Trade Mark/ Imperial Porcelain. and"Manufactured by/ Imperial Porcelain Works, Tenton, N. Sheffield English Silverplate Double Inkwell Inkstand
Up for auction is a beautiful English silverplate over copper double inkstand. Dimensions are approximately 5-3/4” x 8” and it stands 1-3/4” high on paw feet. A pretty pierced border surrounds the inkstand and a small handle extends another ¾” on each end. Each cube inkwell is just under 1-1/2” in diameter. The bottom of the inkstand reads“Sheffield Made in England” and the mark is a pair of crossed keys inside a shield. This is an antique piece which has been used and naturally has slight signs of wear. One of the inkwells has a tiny chip at the bottom which doesn’t show when it’s sitting in the inkstand. The other inkwell has a crack in the glass but is barely noticeable when it’s in the stand—there is a crackfree side which can face the front! The overall height w/o the bail handle is 3 1/2" With the bail it is 5 1/4" It is 3" wide at the widest point. Mint condition glass. There is a straw mark on the very bottom. The lid is missing plating and shows rust. The lid does function properly. Vintage mint means as perfect as possible with prior use. No chips. John Derbyshire marked glass goblet/.souvenir "Love the Giver"
On offer is a John Derbyshire flint glass goblet with an applied handle(added soon after manufacture- but hand applied rather than being press moulded) with the goblet bowl hand engraved with the motto"Love the Given" flanked by two hand engraved upright fern fronts. The item is 17cm tall and has a clear JD and Anchore mark on the inside base together with te number 249(presumably the goblet style as I have others with this number) I have tried to photo the motto. This light blue or turquoise colored shaker has a surface with slanted wide ribs. It has a flat base and sides that rise to a ledge which continues into a threaded collar. It has a domed metal screw on lid with relatively large holes arranged in a five point star pattern. The shaker is of nice a smooth glass. Muffineers(also called sugar casters or sugar shakers) were a regular part of a well-set table. The muffineer would be filled with super fine"caster sugar, for sprinkling over any food in ... moreneed of sweetening. Date: Mid 1800s Origin: Probably continental. Size: 4 3/8" tall and 2 3/8" in diameter at the base and weighs almost 7 ounces. Maker: Unmarked. Marks: Unknown. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: Truly a beautiful antique. Which is difficult to come by. Condition: The shaker is in very good condition. With no breaks, cracks, chips, or repairs. There are a few small scratches on the base and few air bubbles in the glass. However, these are difficult to see and do not compromise the quality or beauty of the piece. The threaded collar has some soiling consistent with the rubbing of the metal against the glass when the cap in screwed on or off. The rim has a slight roughness which is original to the making of the piece. The lid is also in good condition having only a couple of relatively small dings. Victorian pressed amber glass figure of a dog
On offer is a small(10cm high) hollow pressed glass Victorian glass dog in amber glass. Although these dogs have not been definitively assigned to any maker as far as I know. It has the look and feel of Thomas Kidd in my opinion, although any of the North East makers(Sowerby, Davidson, Greener) may have made them as a side line. These dogs were cheap decorations in their day. And this is shown in the rough base(which is"as made" and the small glass seepage on the mould line under the dog's chin resulting in a small(5mm x 3mm) fin of glass crest(the opposite of a chip! There are other flaws, but no cracks. All in all, this is about as good as these dogs get. Any international buyers- please contact me for p7p costs. Happy bidding

I have for sale a Victorian pub Ale glass or Rummer dating to 19 th century. The glass stands 13.5 cm(5.25 inches) high. Has a rim diameter of 7.5 cm and a foot diameter of 7 cm. The glass has a bucket shaped bowl and a capstan stem. The foot is plain with visible gadget marks. It is made of heavy. Hand blown English lead glass of nice colour and dates to approx. 1880. Very large Victorian tumbler. I'd say its equivalent to a highball glass. Very unusual because of its size. It has an ornate etched pattern around the glass and I'd date it to the late Victorian period. I have three of these- search my other listings for the others. THEY ARE IN VERY FINE CONDITION WITH ONE OF THE ORIGINAL BOTTOM SEALS INTACT. THE OTHER THREE SEALS HAVE BEEN REPLACED AT SOME EARLIER TIME. THERE SOME SLIGHT OXIDATION AT BASES ON TWO OF THE GOBLETS SHOWN IN PHOTO#7. I HAVE COLLECTED MERCURY GLASS FOR 40 YEARS AND THIS IS THE ONLY MATCHING SET OF IDENTICAL GOBLETS I HAVE EVER SEEN. VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL KEARFOTT GLASS COMPASS GLOBE FOR DISPLAY DOME GARDEN CLOCHE
5 3/4" high. 4 7/8" exterior diameter, 4 1/8" interior diameter clear glass globe marked KEARFOTT COMPANY at the top of the dome. At first we thought that it was a bulb cover from an airport runway, but during a visit to a military surplus yard, the owner showed me a military compass enclosed in one of these globes. No chips or cracks, a little paint residue around the base that can be scraped off with your thumbnail or a knife. The molded glass is rather thick with a few ripples in the surface. The base is lightly frosted from being ground flat- a cool industrial item just to put on your desk with something underneath it. Makes a great garden cloche too- practical because it is made to be shatter-resistant- heavy for its size, it weighs just under 2 pounds.
