ANTIQUE SILVERPLATED PICKLE CASTOR Pressed Glass Jar "Diamond Block" VICTORIAN
Antique. Victorian era, pressed glass pickle jar is in a silverplated holder with it's matching lid. It stands approximately 10" tall x 4 1/4" wide. The jar fits a 3 1/4" lid. There are no tongs. It is marked on the bottom with a number: 2360. Etched 89 h also is on the bottom which might date it to 1889. Which would be about right. The jar is a nice pressed glass pattern made in 1894 by Duncan& Co. of Pennsylvania called PANELLED DIAMOND BLOCK. It is in very good condition without any chips. Cracks, or repairs. Victorian pressed amber glass figure of a dog
On offer is a small(10cm high) hollow pressed glass Victorian glass dog in amber glass. Although these dogs have not been definitively assigned to any maker as far as I know. It has the look and feel of Thomas Kidd in my opinion, although any of the North East makers(Sowerby, Davidson, Greener) may have made them as a side line. These dogs were cheap decorations in their day. And this is shown in the rough base(which is"as made" and the small glass seepage on the mould line under the dog's chin resulting in a small(5mm x 3mm) fin of glass crest(the opposite of a chip! There are other flaws, but no cracks. All in all, this is about as good as these dogs get. Any international buyers- please contact me for p7p costs. Happy bidding

ANTIQUE c1860-80's VICTORIAN EAPG HEAVY PRESSED GLASS LOTUS FLOWER JELLY COMPOTE
Description This antique circa 1860-80's EAPG early American pressed glass jelly compote. Is of large very heavy footed form with deeply moulded rounded bowl of lotus flowering buds and bubbles. The bowl is on a thick solid glass nine sided stem and spreading domed foot with lotus bud border similar to egg and tongue design. This seriously impressive piece of early pressed glass is apparently unmarked. There are some bubbles and little bits of kiln material trapped in the glass body, there are also some surface creases and shear marks to the inside of the bowl from manufacture. It is in good condition with only one small shallow chip to the outer edge of the petaled rim and a little bruise chip and some tiny nicks to the bottom edge of the well worn, ground and polished foot rim base. The bottom section has been acid etched and it stands on a raised rim with a lemon squeezer base. CONDITION: Good used condition. There is one chip on the top inner rim and a bruise on the very top section. There are several bubbles in the glass which is very common in glass of this age. With a Frosted Bowl with Hobnail Cut Stars around it, mounted on a 6 Sided Stem, from a round undercut base. There is a Very Clear Diamond Mark inside the bowl, for Class III, on the 18th January, W for 1865. It is in Very Good condition with no cracks, Just a couple of Very minor nicks on the stem edges. It is made in emerald green glass and decorated with crosses and hobstar diamonds around the body. This lovely sherbert dish stands on a starcut pedestal base and is in good condition for its age with just a small crack on the interior of the glass on the top rim. Which can be seen but not felt(see photo 4) and certainly does not detract from the overall beauty and desirability of the piece. Antique Victorian Frosted Pressed / Molded Glass Stand Double Greek Key Pattern
Small antique victorian frosted. Pressed glass patch stand comport/tazza with double greek key pattern. 3 1/2" high with rim diameter of 5 1/2" Similar to the Molineux& Webb greek key pattern. A three part mold. The pattern is not etched but impressed into the underneath. Not marked so ID is purely guesswork but possibly Derbyshire Glass, Davidson of Gateshead or one of the other Manchester Glass makers. Dates to around 1880s' I would think. Condition is very good for its age.The mold lines are still visible and there are a few small marks made during manufacture(straw marks etc) No cracks. Imperial Glass Co.Victorian Pressed Glass Basket ca. 1909- Mint!!
1909 Imperial Glass Wicker Basket#428 1/2 pattern. Handled basket is divided in two sections to hold a salt and pepper shaker set. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips or rough edges. Some straw marks and seed bubbles from manufacturing process. The Imperial Glass Company was founded in 1901 in Bellaire. Ohio, by Edward Muhleman, with production beginning in 1904. The handmade glasswares were sold worldwide and were usually made of pressed glass patterns. It has 4 tiny feet on the bottom. Wicker design around the outside with a rope band near the bottom and a rope design on the handle. It measures 4 inches long. 2 1/8 inches wide and stands 3 inches high to the top of the handle. Weight is 234 grams.

Here is a beautiful Victorian pressed glass bonbon dish with a twisted handle. In certain lights the glass has a slightly pink or lilac tinge to it. There is a registered mark on the handle and on the rim which relates to the year 1891. The dish is in wonderful condition when you think it is about 120 years old! Antique Victorian Pressed Amber Glass A GOOD GIRL Footed Cup EAPG? Sowerby? Antique 19th C Pressed Amber Glass Nursery/ Child's Mug or Footed Cup"A Good Girl" Offered for sale with no reserve! Here we have a lovely example of pressed glass- an amber coloured mug or cup with the words"A Good Girl" with floral sprays and a floral wreath on the reverse. I have seen similar pressed glass described as by Adams and Company of the USA- which would make it a piece of EAPG or early American pressed glass. However. It could have been made in the UK by a maker like Sowerby, Bagley or Davidson. The mug has been produced in a two part mould and there is a distinct mould line down either side. It measures 3 1/2 inches high and has a base diameter of 2 3/8ths inch. It is in very good order with just one tiny chip on the mould line ... morenear the rim. This could date from manufacture. It weighs 208g. This is a great example of 19th century pressed glass and ideal for a collector. Would also make a brilliant Christening or gift or Christmas stocking filler. Lovely Sowerby Victorian Antique Pressed Glass Jam Or Butter Dish February 1872
This is a beautiful Victorian antique pressed glass jam or butter dish which was made by Sowerby of Gateshead. It appears as Sowerby pattern 1032 in their pattern book XI(1885) It is from their registered design number 260404 or 260405. Registered by Sowerby on 12 February 1872. The Sowerby‘peacock’ head trademark(which is often found on Sowerby pieces) was not introduced until 1876, so this dish pre-dates the trademark. Sowerby only began registering their designs on the 2 February 1872. There is a Victorian"diamond" Registration Mark on the inside of the base which helps to date the registration of this design. Victorian Pressed Glass Celery Vase C.1880 This is a good example of a late Victorian pressed glass celery glass. There are no makers marks. Dates to between about 1870 and 1900. Size: 8 inches high( 20 cm) approximately. It weighs 672 grammes before packing. Condition: good. no chips. No cracks.There is wear, mainly to the base from use as you would expect, but overall it is in good condition. Payment must be made within 7 days of winning bid unless other arrangements have been made. If there is a problem with payment. Please contact me. I think this was never meant for drinking out of rather a novelty piece of packing for something else like jam. Crudely made and very sharp with lots of seeds and inclusions, no damage in lovely condition. how many have survived? 5 1/4 inches in height. 3 1/2 inches across the rim and 4 inches across the base. I will post abroad first class cheap postage if the buyer is willing to take the loss if it goes missing else it will go tracked. Please contact for correct postal costs for your country. Rare Victorian Percival Vickers Pressed Glass Forward Facing Dog c1870's
A large rare pressed glass dog attributed to the Manchester firm of Percival Vickers c1870's. The dog is forward facing and not the glass dog which is more often seen with its head facing sideways. The dog is not signed or marked. Height 4.75" Length 7.5" Weight approx 824 gm Condition is excellent. There is a tiny chip to the underside of the rim of the lid,there are also a few minute nicks/ roughness to the rim of the lid.
