Condition: Used Location: Roanoke, United States You are bidding on 4 different antique Sterling Silver vanity sets. All are%100.00 hallmarked sterling silver. I could only upload the 12 photos you see ... morehere but I would be more than happy to email interested bidders as many as they like. The first set pictured is made by International Sterling and is just the mirror and brush. It is in good overall shape with the mirror having a little hazing. As you can see in the pictures it is monogrammed. But not quite sure what the initials are. The second set is made by Birks and consists of a brush, mirror. Nail file and the sterling holder for a comb but the comb is missing. All pieces are monogrammed with a N and again clearly hallmarked Birks Sterling. Overall the condition is good with slight clouding in the mirror. The nail file has some corrosion on the file portion. The 3rd set is hallmarked 925R sterling and consists of a brush. Mirror, scissors, nail file and comb holder which is missing the comb. Each piece of the set is monogrammed with a D. The scissors in the set have some corrosion on the cutting portions which are not silver, but overall condition is good. the 4th set is hallmarked Birks Sterling and consists of a brush and mirror only. Both pieces are monogrammed with a C. The brush is in great shape but the mirror portion of the set has come loose and there is some small dents around the mirror edges. Also included is 2 smaller brushes(last picture) both are ornate and hallmarked Sterling Silver. The smaller one is hallmarked Sterling while the larger one is hallmarked F&B Sterling. 1907. In total there are 15 pieces of Sterling Silver up for grabs. My local antique dealer offered me $350.00 for everything so that's what I'm started the bidding at. Again. I could only include 12 pictures but would be happy to email more to interested bidders. I inherited these from my aunt. Along with many, many other things as she was an antique dealer. You are bidding on 4 different antique Sterling Silver vanity sets. All are%100.00 hallmarked sterling silver. I could only upload the 12 photos you see here but I would be more than happy to email interested bidders as many as they like. The first set pictured is made by International Sterling and is just the mirror and brush. It is in good overall shape with the mirror having a little hazing. As you can see in the pictures it is monogrammed. But not quite sure what the initials are. The second set is made by Birks and consists of a brush, mirror. Nail file and the sterling holder for a comb but the comb is missing. All pieces are monogrammed with a N and again clearly hallmarked Birks Sterling. Overall the condition is good with slight clouding in the mirror. The nail file has some corrosion on the file portion. The 3rd set is hallmarked ... more925R sterling and consists of a brush. Mirror, scissors, nail file and comb holder which is missing the comb. Each piece of the set is monogrammed with a D. The scissors in the set have some corrosion on the cutting portions which are not silver, but overall condition is good. the 4th set is hallmarked Birks Sterling and consists of a brush and mirror only. Both pieces are monogrammed with a C. The brush is in great shape but the mirror portion of the set has come loose and there is some small dents around the mirror edges. Also included is 2 smaller brushes(last picture) both are ornate and hallmarked Sterling Silver. The smaller one is hallmarked Sterling while the larger one is hallmarked F&B Sterling. 1907. In total there are 15 pieces of Sterling Silver up for grabs. My local antique dealer offered me $350.00 for everything so that's what I'm started the bidding at. Again. This item measures 17 1/2" tall x 15 1/4" x 7 1/2" The mirror frame measures 12" x 9 1/2" The mirror itself measures 9 5/8" x 6 3/4" The mirror swings on the upright turned wood posts. There is one drawer with small brass knobs. This is a veneer wood item and there is some veneer damage.note that the front area around the drawer has had two repairs to original veneer. See my photo close-ups of these area. Note also there is a crack in the wood of one of the turned posts that holds the mirror. My finger is pointing to it in a photo. This one post appears to have been glued at the crack and there is some wood chipped at the base of this post. There is a ... morelittle wiggle to this post, but it is secure. This is a beautifully made. Solid wood vanity table with 2 small storage drawers. Intricate carved wood. It has a very heavy marble top. The marble is a pale green celedon color. The marble is in good condition, no stains. The picture that looks like there is an oval stain is actually the light reflected from the mirror. The right drawer pull is a little loose but attached securely. Not noticable except when you open the drawer. it comes with a Matching carved wood mirror. Mirror has some marks near the top bottom. Vintage Antique Wood Vanity Dresser Top Or Wall Mount With Mirror & Shelves
Here is a great old mirror/ shelf piece that can be used as a dresser top or stand alone and hung on a wall. I am uncertain as to what type of wood this is. But there are multiple places on the front where the wood has been carved, appears hand carved as there is nothing perfectly identical between the two sides. This piece is fairly large and measures 28 3/4" wide, 27" tall, and just under 5" deep. This piece is in very decent shape for its age, but does have a few condition issues- there are a couple of scratches on the mirror(you can see some of these on the back side, where the mirror was not covered) there is a darker spot/stain in the bottom left hand corner and a wood chip in that corner, The majority of the finish is in nice shape, but there are a few areas where the finish has been worn, and lastly, the piece needs ... moreto be'tightened up' perhaps glued in some areas. While this piece is fully intact, there are multiple seams in the piece where it was put together, and some of these areas are weak and need reinforement. It looks quite old based on looking at the back side. It does have a wire hanger also on the back side. A really unique and great looking vintage piece. This dresser was found in north west PA. The man who sold it to me said this was his grandmothers he was about 80. This looks to be at least 1880's. The mirror is in good shape for its age. The mirror will need put back into the frame and fixed. The drawers are bowed and almost like a Bombay style dresser. There is two small drawers at the top. All drawers are dovetailed. Antique Refinished Vanity and stool
Used Antique Vanity completely refinished. Body of the vanity was painted Satin Off White Color. Top and Details with Bombay Mahogany Polyurethane stain. I am not expert on wood so I do not know the original wood on this peace. The mirror was replaced since the original one has some marks and"smoke" look to it. The original mirror goes with the vanity. Also with the vanity a refinished stool with metal structure painted black and seat refinished with light beige color fabric. The vanity has two small drawers on top and two deep drawers on each side. Note: The inside of the drawers were not painted showing wear and scratches inside them. Antique 6 Drawer Vanity With 3 Panel Mirror Selling my grandmother's 6 drawer vanity with 3 panel mirror It's in pretty decent shape considering the age and usage. Grandma used it often. The tops of both sides are slightly worn as seen it photos 1 and 2 It's missing one wheel in the rear as seen in photo 3 perhaps during the move from Pennsylvania. I would assume you could just remove the remaining wheels and have it stationary. As seen in photo#4. It is missing a piece of wood that secures one of the folding mirrors. There are no screws to attach the mirror to the vanity itself. I just slid the larger mirror into place to take the photos. I'm not sure if the chair included with it is the original chair. But it's the one I've always seen granny use with it in her home for the 46 years I'm alive. I am not sure what ... moreera it's from nor do I know the type of wood. Victorian ? Antique Vintage Wood Shaving Mirror Vanity Dresser fleur de lee OAK
You are winning a Rare Victorian Antique Wood Shaving Mirror or Vanity. Dresser. It has carved into it the fleur de lee symbol of royalty. It may have belonged to a member of the royal nobility. The wood is OAK. I estimate the age to be mid to late 1800's but can be older. It's approx size is 42 L X 26 H X 2.5 D. For your consideration is a beautiful dresser vanity in great condition. It appears to from the late 1800's or early 1900's and all original. No repairs. Very solid with no issues. Casters still roll nicely, the drawers all open and close as they should, the mirror is nice and spins/rotates as it should. There are some scratches and signs of use on the marble but no cracks or chips. More pictures are available and we will gladly take specific pictures upon request. This has been in our home for about 5 years now. We have 2 grandchildren and it's time for a set of bunk beds. So it's got to go. It's in very good condition. I bought this at an estate sale just as you see it pictured. It measures 66" high, 39" wide and 18" deep. The one pic shows where there is a small space between the two boards on the top. I always said, it just adds a little character, it's quiet common in pieces this old and most of the time, far worse. I also have a bed listed that matches the dresser pretty good.
