My mother in law was an AVID antique collector. She passed away 8 years ago at the age of 92. This piece(along with several others I'm about to list) was among her collection. When she passed away and we were settling her estate. I set many of her pieces aside(thinking that I would go through her antique books and research them and list them) THIS is one of the pieces that has me stumped. I can't figure out what the blue mark in scripted letters means/stands for. THIS piece is just stunning. I KNOW that it's good quality because that's all Martha(Nafe.Paris. TX) ever collected. I KNOW it's very old. What I DON'T know is what the makers mark on the bottom stands for(see pictures below) If YOU KNOW.please fill me in! It's a hand-painted white and gold egg. It stands 5 3/4" tall. it is 4" wide. Just out of a local house is this wonderful antique miniature painting on porcelain in its original carved walnut frame. It depicts a dark haired beauty wearing a revealing off the shoulder dress. With the frame it measures 5 13/16 inches high and 5 1/16 inches wide. The plaque alone measures about 3 7/16 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide. It is signed on the front Sieb and the back is marked"Anita Nach Sichel" It also has Made in Germany in a circular mark and is marked faintly with the Bros. Heubach Lichte Rising sun mark. Used from 1882. The frames backboard has an old US customs label. The plaque and frame are both in excellent condition with no damage. Would make a nice addition to any collection. Guaranteed old and as described.

Two vintage sweet Delft style bunny rabbit and cow pitcher creamers. Traditional white with blue floral designs. Seem to be a combination on both of hand painting and decals. The bunny stands 4-3/4" high. And the cow is 3-1/2" high x 5-1/2" long. Both are in very nice condition, with no chips or cracks. The cow is unmarked, and the bunny has a stamp, J.S.N.Y. Taiwan. 2003 Glazed Redware Egg Sgraffito of Stylized Bird by Lester Breininger in Robesonia. Berks County, Southeastern Pennsylvania This is a beautiful redware decorative piece made by master potter Lester Breininger. With Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. A Great addition to your redware collection. Large. Lovely contemporary pottery egg, sgraffito decorated over yellow clay slip( on redware by Lester Brieninger. It has a design of a stylized bird, sun, flower, grass and decorative star pattern with additional glaze in black and dark yellow. The back of the egg is also glazed clear over ground, and has the maker's mark. The point where the yellow color and the brown colors meet is highlighted with green(copper oxide) sponged decoration. This egg measures: ~3 1/4" long and is ~2 1/8" high and ~2 1/8" wide. Marks: on the bottom. It's ... morestamped with something I can't determine including a name beginning with"Se. and then the word"eggs" and a number. And underneath that the block letters, LB 03" in black underglaze. Condition: Egg is in excellent condition. It has no cracks. Repairs, crazing, or hairlines. In addition, as is the case with all handmade(esp. primitive) redware pieces, this piece has a few of the usual characteristics you would expect such as pops, unglazed areas and uneven spots, especially marks on the bottom from the pronged stilts used to prop it up during firing-which can be seen in the last photo. Milk glass AMERICAN HEN covered dish. The covered dish was made circa 1898 and measures 6 inches by 3 5/8 inches and 3 5/8 inches in height. It was made to commemorate the Spanish American War. It has an eagle with spread wings in a nest protecting three eggs marked"PORTO RIC A" not a typo) CUBA" and"PHILIPPINES" It has 2 chips; I have tried to show them in the above pictures. I t is in excellent shape for being over a 100 years old. The edges are not perf ect but I don't think they are damaged just old. 2 places on its edge that appear to be chips are actually trapped bubbles.

Copeland 19th Century Porcelain Hand Painted Plates Bowl Gold, Red Floral Sprays
Up for sale are 12 Copeland plates and 1 serving bowl. Each piece is chip and crack free. But one plate has grazing and another plate has a water spot appearing area in the red band(see pic) Otherwise, each piece is in excellent condition! Each plate measures a little over 6 3/4" and matches but uses varying flower sprays. The pieces are handpainted and no two plates are exactly alike. The bowl is 4" tall and 6" wide. The green Copeland mark of two"C's" interlocking with Copeland underneath dates from 1851 to 1895. Each piece has a letter above the number 78 impressed on the bottom. This is a very cute Alfred Meakin Reverie pitcher from Staffordshire England. It says on the bottom of the pitcher that it has a hand engraved pattern applied under the gaze(transfer ware) It is in unused condition. The pattern has a sleepy little town in the meadows of England hills and dales and trees. This piece measures 6.5" wide x 5" tall x 4" deep and is in great condition. I can see no flaws. Antique Austrian Victoria Carlsbad Fine China 13 1/2" Bread/Celery Tray
Featured is an antique fine porcelain celery/bread dish by Victoria/Carlsbad of Austria. It measures 13 1/2" long x 5 1/2" wide x 1 5/8" deep. It has a high gloss white background with a pattern of pink roses and what appears to at one time have been a bluish gray iridescent border in the inside bottom. There was also gold trim around the scalloped top edge but it is rather faded due to age and use. The Victoria/Carlsbad Schmidt Co. was in operation from 1891-1918 in Austria. I am not sure of an exact year on this piece. The hallmark is stamped on the bottom as is the word Austria and the number 35. There is one small chip under the top edge(as seen in photo) This does not show from the top and does not effect the looks. Other than that and some fading in the colors.
