Antique 19th Century English Spirit Barrel
Antique English Spirit Barrel that looks to be marked Turnstall Hollingshead& England. Figure on the under stamp appears to be horse and rider. Sorry the photo doesn't show this clearly. Transferware windmill with waterway and homes in background. Brass spigot is missing but barrel is intact and very nice. Note crazing and some staining. Round cap on top has been cracked but is also intact. Design is complete and in great condition. Gold has some wear spots as well as some rub on the RUM wording. Measures 12 5/8"h X 12"w. These barrels are hard to find and make wonderful decorative pieces as well as lamps. Offering this one. Which I have owned for years, at a great price!

An original exceptional antique circa 1900 Rosenthal Pate-Sur-Pate fine porcelain lamp base in the Art Nouveau manner which was designed and is signed by the artist Laura Kriesch. The lamp with the adjustable stem in the lowest position measures 26" tall with the Rosenthal porcelain itself measuring approximately 11 1/2" tall. The base and top mounting for the porcelain appears to be bronze. The scene which is in relief depicts two beautiful women with flowing hair floating above a lake with water lillies and fish below all of which is done in glazes of shades of grey. Base in perfect condition, no chips or cracks. Shade has small chips on its rim, hardly noticeable and and would not be seen when the shade is put in place. The pull chain works perfect. The cord also has an on/off switch to preserve/ avoid damage to the pull chain. Here is 1 PAIR of 1950's to early'60's Brass American Eagle table lamps. They belonged to my grandparents but my dad couldn't remember when they got them. These would be neat to put in your colonial-revival or'50's kitsch home decor. Or if you are just patriotic like my family. Measures 34.5" high, 14" at the base of the shade and 7" at the base of the lamp. Shades have some damage- a couple of wrinkles and perforations, but overall not terrible. Paulding lamp with glass base
Up for sale today is a glass lamp base with a Paulding light fixture. To me it looks as if this may have been an oil lamp converted to electric but I'm not completely sure. The top of the Paulding fixture unscrews from the base. It is 9.5 inches tall including the bulb and the base has a diameter of 3.25 inches. I have not plugged the lamp in but otherwise appears to be in good condition.

Great antique art deco/nouveau figural Egyptian Sphinx(made out of what I believe to be bronze) lamp with an exquisite marbled leaded slag glass multi colored shade. The arm holding the shade rotates from side to side. And I believe it is brass. This piece is in excellent condition, the shade is free from any chips or cracks. The lamp weighs over 6 pounds, it's a very solid heavy piece. There is some wear from age to the arm, and some age to the body of the Sphinx, so please look closely at the pictures. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. This is an absolutely gorgeous antique lamp. The brass body panel has an orchard scene with people finely dressed. Topiary trees, birds, and floral wreaths. It is stunning. I don't know if they would have cast the metal or pressed the pattern in. The collar is also finely detailed with a floral pattern and the on/off switch is also brass and turns. In fact the base is big, about 1 1/2" I bought a 175 watt bulb and screwed it in and when I turned it on it just flashed and then went out and wouldn't come back on. So I know there is power there, but I think I had the wrong bulb. To summarize. The fluorescent light works fine. The up-light has power, but I don't have a bulb for it. Additionally, it might be better to install a 100-watt standard light socket in the top for future convenience(easy 15 minute job) Base has marble accent and above that a row of faces cast into the metal. Lamp is 62” tall to the top of the globe. This would be a great piece to have a custom circular neon light made for. And then a custom globe blown for the top light. Antique German Dresden or Meissen Basket Weave Floral and Figural Lamp
This auction is for an antique German Dresden or Meissen lamp. The body of the lamp is of a woven basket texture and it is adorned with pretty pink roses and green leaves and is surrounded by three cute cherubs. The marble base is also adorned with the roses. Any mark on the porcelain is obscured by the marble base. But it is obviously a very fine German porcelain. The overall height of the lamp is 18 3/4 inches. Including the pretty floral finial. This lamp is in good condition considering its age. It needs a cleaning and the wiring is old and should be replaced. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance costs.

UNUSUAL METAL BRASS ISLAMIC EUROPEAN LAMP BASE JARDINIERE STAND ?
THIS beautiful piece mystifies me and at the same time it is so nicely decorated that it mesmerizes me! I'm not exactly sure what it does- looks like it can be a lamp base or a jardiniere stand( you be the judge. The decoration reminds me of some european influence- very similar to decorations on inlaid sorrento boxes that typically depicts stylized birds amongst foliage. It is also bears similarities to islamic or persian style decorations. It is made of mixed materials of brass and porcelain.
