Mexican Sterling Silver Belt Buckle and Collar Tips
Really cool. Some of the inlay is missing on the front of the buckle. These are stamped Mexico, Sterling 0925 on the back. The price tag shows them from Tijuana. The buckle is approx. 2 3/4" long X 1 5/8" tall and it will handle about a 1 1/2" belt. The shirt collar tips are approx. 1 1/4" and all the inlay is solid and the collar screws work great. There are initials on top and on the handle the Date Feb. 28'14. Design is beautiful but there are some dings on the bottom of the handle and some on the side. Up for auction and from Wewoka St Pawn of Oklahoma we have a Sterling Silver Manicure Set by Watrous Mfg Co. This set is comprised of a nail file. Cuticle remover knife and a buffer. These are vintage pieces probably from the 1920's. They all have the intials AG and are in the same floral pattern. See photos for more details. They are marked Sterling and have been tested and are Sterling Silver. They are also marked with(W symbol for Watrous Mfg Co. These are pre-owned but I would consider them to be in very good condition. They do show wear and have several scratches and a dent/ ding here and there. They do need a professional to clean them as there is tarnish. The buffer has a small hole in the cloth and you can see the wood under it. The buffer measures 4 1/2" long. The silver conchos are as follows 4 rope edge type with a flower design approx 3/4"1" 3-of them are stamped with sterling and some other numbers and such that I can not make out 1-of them has Mexico on it and some other stuff I can not make out. The 2 dome shape conchos are approx.1 1" and have a flower design and are stamped Sterling this silver is the good old silver that you no longer come by and is getting harder to find. Beautiful Ewer with bead work on the base and the spout of the Ewer. Hallmarked"980" I believe this is an earlier piece of Hector Aguilar just by the style and silver content of 980. You can see that it is hand-wrought by the tooling marks on the back side. It is also made with 2 layers joined together. Brooch measures about 2 1/8" wide by 2 1/2" tall. Weighs about 19.9 grams. I believe the 3 sections that go around in a circle are Abalone but I am not sure. It measures 1 3/8" across. It has the standard pin back and closes tightly. I see 4 fine cracks in the Abalone.
