This book shaped Whisky Decanter is hand painted and appears to be rather old. It was purchased from an estate sale many years ago. The top of the stopper is original. I only know it was made in Italy. No further details about it can be found. It's a unique one of a kind for any collector. The leather has worn off the edge a little and is shown in the photos. Antique Amphora Vase Italian Tan Clay Vessel Glazed Orange Interior Wine Pot
This auction features a vintage or antique Amphora handled wine pot or water vessel. Through my research I believe this pot is either Italian or Spanish in origin. It stands approximately 14.5" high and is made from a tan colored clay. I would call it terracotta except in my opinion I don't think it's red enough for a true terracotta clay. Even though there's a hint of reddish orange to the beige. The interior is glazed so that it can safely hold liquids; the top rim has a lighter beige colored glaze and the interior of the neck has a much more vibrant orange color. The exterior of the vase is in its natural flat earthenware finish, unglazed. There are no markings that I could find. ITALIAN SOCKET BAYONET, CA 1690-1720 INTRICATE DESIGN WINGED BIRD SHOWING PENIS
This style socket bayonet is often referred to as a hunting bayonet but obviously served as military. This bayonet is of imperial quality with deeply chiseled relief decoration. Usually these bayonets are found with simple engraving. The bayonet is made of steel with silver and brass overlay on the socket. The attachment of the blade to the socket is in the form of a human hand. Beautiful detail. Overall excellent condition with exception of one corrosion spot. One-half inch x one inch at the bottom of the blade. Probably Italian, possibly Sardinia. Overall length is 14 ¼ inches with a 10 inch blade x 1 ¾ inches wide.

17TH CENTURY ITALIAN OLD MASTER OIL ON LINEN OF FRIAR HOLDING ABANDONED CHILD
Offered for your review and consideration is this incredible. Simply fantastic newly discovered and 100% untouched 17TH CENTURY ITALIAN OLD MASTER OIL ON LINEN. WITH ORIGINAL CHAMFERED STRETCHER OF A FRANCISCAN FRIAR WITH AN ABANDONED CHILD WRAPPED IN WHITE LINEN PULLING THE TASSELED ROPE BELL OF A LARGE OAK DOOR TO A MONASTERY. The oil on linen measures 9 3/4" in width x 11 3/4" in height. This extraordinary. Recent'as found' discovery in southern New Hampshire of this 17th Century Italian Old Master oil on linen, of a Franciscan friar holding an abandoned baby, wrapped tightly in white linen, ringing the roped bell of a monastery, is still nailed to its original period chamfered stretcher, with additional wooden side rails, that acted as extensions, attached to each side of the wooden stretcher. The painting was found ... morewithout a frame, period or otherwise. The round nails on the linen seem to be later, which most likely means the piece was re-fastened to the stretcher at some point, due to its loosening and the sagging of the middle of the painting onto the wooden stretcher. This means the painting most likely was laying down for a number of years and the weight of the oil on the fine artist's linen, caused it to collapse onto the supporting wooden stretcher underneath. The refastening with later round nails was probably an attempt to tighten it to the stretcher. The stretcher itself is chamfered and very old. It seems to have had some kind of paper applied to the verso, quite possibly a dust cover of some sort, applied at a later date and since, partially removed. The painting only suffers from one very slight tear, which is quite minor and about 1/8" in length. No attempt has been made to repair it or to'in-paint' the area where the small tear occurs. The painting is in'100% completely untouched condition! It has not been cleaned. Since the surface grime is still present. Personally, I have not touched the painting. The surface of the painting shows evidence of crackling
