Sterling Silver Watch Bracelet with natural Evans Turquoise by Clement Nalwood
This is an original sterling silver watch bracelet with eight natural turquoise stones from the old Evans Mine in Baja. It was done by Clement Nalwood(well known Navajo silversmith) and he signed it but a lot of his signature has worn away over the years. He has a very artistic style of silversmithing with soft flowing lines and intricate raindrops. Leaves, clamshells and other original pieces all made from sterling sheet and wire construction. There are no castings in this piece. The Seiko watch works and I just put in a new battery a couple months ago. You can see a hole cut in the bottom of the bracelet so the battery can easily be changed. It weighs 3.4 oz on my postal scale. Inside dimensions is 5.5" with a 1.25" opening and fits a standard ladies wrist. My late husband Stan and I were in the turquoise mining. Green amber, garnet, amethyst, pink coral) 9 pendants(approx. 1" to 1 1/2" long) with various lengths(15-17" and styles of sterling silver chains(the large multi-stone piece(2 1/4" long) is featured on a 17" black leather cord) Genuine stones featured in the pendants: turquoise. Amber, green amber, white jasper, lapis, red coral, topaz, and labradorite. 3 pendants- the large amber pendant is 2" long. Vintage Chinese Sterling Silver Filigree Fire Opal Pendant Charm This auction is for a finely made and striking. Sterling filigree and opal pendant or charm, that was made in China during the 1940's- 50's. This piece is not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. I don't know if the opal is natural or glass but my guess since this piece is Chinese made from this time period that it is natural. The pendant(not including the bale) is 3/4" x 5/8" and is a bit thicker than 1/4" at its thickest point. The opal measures just under 1/2" long and has a nice amount of fire and color that was difficult to capture in the photographs. The opal is open at the back to enhance the light and there are no chips or surface wear to the stone. The silver filigree is tightly woven and there are no irregularities or signs ... moreof solder or repair. The silver has a bright patina that shows off the detail. This piece is petite- it weighs only 3.4 grams and could be used as a charm as well. Overall this is a finely made and striking. Large Vintage 3-3/8" Sterling Silver Filigree Cross Pendant Guglielmo Cini
Cross Pendant This is a stunning large sterling silver cross pendant. It was made by Guglielmo Cini sometime between 1922 and 1957. Including the bail it is 3-3/4" long. The cross alone is 3-3/8" long and 2-3/16" wide. It weighs 15.5 grams. The design of the cross is a lovely scrolled filigree and the back is almost as pretty as the front. The bail is large enough to accept a substantial chain. On the back of the bail it is marked G. Cini Bos Sterling. The'Bos' stands for Boston. Where Cini worked after he immigrated to the US from Florence, Italy in 1922 and worked until he moved to Califoria in 1957. Condition is very nice. Sterling silver & turquoise butterfly necklace signed by Rosita Wallace
Hand crafted 850 Mexican silver. Turquoise, and mother of pearl necklace signed by Rosita Wallace, Zuni. Excellent condition, perfectly legible signature. I took this piece in to a jeweler and he educated me on what the 850 on the back of the butterfly meant. It is actually common for silver from Mexico to be stamped at 850 because there are 850 parts of silver per 1000 pieces of metal. Although it is not as fine of silver as what is mostly used in America(925 parts of silver per 1000) he let me know of the value of my necklace and informed me that it will only be skyrocketing in value do to Rosita Wallace's unfortunate death last year. Since this amazing artist is no longer with us to bless us with her fine jewelry, it will only rise in value as does most work of famous and talented artits' that have passed away. For auction is a Vintage Taxco Sterling Silver and Mother of Pearl ring made by Alfredo Villasana ca.1934- 1948. The ring is size 6.5. Weighs 10 grams and is an adjustable ring.
