Pair of Antique chinese oil small OPIUM LAMP brass
I offer you a pair of this unique and almost indentical opium lamps. They are in very nice condition for it's age. A beautiful patina has developed on the brass over the years. The size of each 4 1/2" tall. Base 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Marked Hong Kong. The globes have imperfections like you find in old glass. And there are two little chips on the top of one of the glass. No damage and no cracks. I was not able to take wick of one of the lamp because I don't want to damage anything. Anyways these two nice pieces of oriental art is not really to light up your house in these days. But for a beautiful decoration.

This is an antique oil on canvas maritime painting. Featuring a racing yacht on the sea at a distance from the rocky shore. Painting measures approx. 12" by 18" and is on stretchers with metal fasteners dated with an 1885 patent date. Painting is attached to the frame with nails driven through the stretchers into the frame. With the frame, the painting measures approx. 17 1/2" by 22" Painting does have some condition problems. There are four older repairs to the canvas that look as if there had been some small punctures at some point. It appears that the repairer used glue or some gummy substance to close the punctures. There may also have been some overpainting on the canvas at the site of the repairs. Painting also appears to need a good cleaning. As the varnish has yellowed and darkened over the years. this is an exquisite antique Art Deco horse head table lighter. and has a beautiful 3 dimensional design of a horse head with stunning scroll pedestal at the base. it has a very ornate mechanical lighter at the top which flips open by pushing the lever releasing a spring loaded top which also sparks the flint at the flip. under the spark wheel is a container for flint that unscrews. gas is added to a small hole at the base which is plugged with a decorative threaded plug. it is made from a pewter or some sort of white metal. And has some nice weight to it. its in good working shape and measures 5 x 3 inches measuring with lighter closed. it has wick just needs flint. extremely rare lighter. Adams Express brass lamp. Please note that the lamp had a weighted base. The sheet metal that enclosed the bottom has rusted away but it has not affected the brass on the lamp itself. Antique Sunoco Glass oil bottle set 8 bottles with carry rack
Up for your consideration is an 8 bottle Sunoco glass oil bottle set with the original carry rack. These bottles. Spouts, caps, and carrier are all original, not reproduction. The bottles are all Duraglass 1 liquid quart oil bottles. They all have Sunoco stickers on them except for one. All stickers are 10W stickers except for one which is 20W. 5 of the spouts are Brookin's spouts, 2 are Master manufacturing, and one is unmarked. Caps are included for all spouts. The rack has no broken welds on the wire frame. I could find no cracks or chips in any of the bottles. The stickers are faded a little but the overall set is a great piece from the past. Uncleaned condition This fantastic estate found set of oilers includes an exceeedingly rare Dover Stamping& Mfg. Company copper plated oiler. Dover Stamping became well known in the middle of the 19th century for their role in a U.S. Supreme Court Case in 1864. The Dover Stamping Oil Can is also marked on the side with"Kant Rust" and is a very early can. Also included is a very early swingspout style oil can/ can opener that is only marked"PAT. Antique Baroque 1800's Organ Oil Lamp, Converted
This is an ornate Victorian oil lamp from the late 1800's to approximately 1920's. It has been converted for electrical use. As you may be able to see from photographs. The conversion has been professionally done at some point, with authentic electrical plug from the 40's or 50's. The globe is original. It is ivory with primary colors of red and gold. It is truly exquisite. The cast iron is filigree. It has no imperfections that can be discerned by the naked eye. The lamp is clean. Has been kept impeccably, and is sturdy and strong. Antique Signed WILLS Victorian Lady Oil Painting on Celluloid in Celluloid frame
Here is an exceptionally beautiful oil portrait- An antique. Ca. 1860-1880 original painting on celluloid of a lovely lady dressed like Victorian royalty in velvet, lace, pearl necklace, earrings and an ornate headband with a ruby centerpiece. She has eyes of an intense blue and dark red lips. This enchanting portrait is housed in the original celluloid frame with the inner matting lined with with brown velveteen and a brass oval with bubble glass over the painting. To the lower right is a signature of the artist"Wills" The painting sight measures approximately 3-1/2" high x 2-2/4"wide. or 8.89 cm high x 6.985 cm wide) in frame approximately 6-3/4" high x 6" wide(17.145 cm high x 15.24 cm high) Celluloid is without cracks or chips, with the exception of one"ding" on the lower right hand corner of frame. ... moreThe paint on both portrait and frame is without peel. The frame is in the original finish, of"faux ivory" celluloid with tiny specks of brown, a green accent line on outer edge, and gold inner and outer edges. I believe this could be the work of Irish dramatist. Novelist and painter W. G. Wills, who for a period, attempted to make a career as an artist. He set up as a portrait-painter in 1868. Despite limited artistic training. He had some success, but his disorderly lifestyle and reputation for missing appointments undermined his career. Sounds like someone I know! Celluloid was invented by John Wesley Hyatt. An industrial genius who understood what could be done with such a shapeable, or"plastic, material. Awesome Rare Webster Oil Separator Solid Brass Plaque N J 1893 Antique Sign
This is a rare Webster Oil Separator Solid Brass Plaque from 1893. Just five years after Warren Webster and Co went into business! It has a great finish on it as you can see with original finish left intact, I only had to dust it a little. There are some small dings in it as you can see clearly in any of the photos. The plaque is 5" long. 3 3/8" tall and 1/8" thick. I have several other padlocks and brass tags listed this week that you may be interested in also! Eye Winker oil lamp is in great condition. No chips, cracks, or breaks but there is some roughness or flea bites around the base edge. Oil lamp stands approx 19" tall x 5 1/2" wide at the base. Antique Copper Brass Starboard Ship Lantern Early Dietz Convex Font Oil Lamp
Early. Copper& Brass Starboard Side Ships Lamp. This antique lamp was found at an estate sale in Henderson. NY on the eastern shore area of lake Ontario. The lamp is being offered as found for parts or refurbish or keep as is. The lamp stands 8.7/8" tall as is. The soot catcher or chimney cap is missing. The copper housing shows a lot of aged patina. There is a crack in the copper in the pierced trim that goes around the chimney(see image 9) The bottom door also has a split or crack(see image 5) The curved, green glass is in excellent condition for its age, just a few fine scratches and some dirt. The font/burner appears to be in very good condition, no holes or leaks, and is marked DIETZ CONVEX.
