Here for purchase is a lot of 2 vintage Almanacs. The first almanac is a Telephone Almanac from 1958 for the Bell Telephone System. The picture on the front of the almanac is a farmhouse with a tractor digging a ditch. On the back is the picture of a sad child who states. I wish Grandma would call me today. This almanac has wear on the cover including bends in the upper right and lower right. There are two light brown stains in the lower right. The lower right corner of this almanac is folded as if dog-eared underneath. There are some stains in the inside, most significantly on a color advertisement, but it does not affect the readability of this item. The almanac is 24 pages. The most interesting part of this almanac is the story about the experimental pocket-sized transistor that lets a person know that they have a message waiting for it. ... moreI suppose this means it is an article about the first pager. There is writing at the top of the cover in pencil regarding the birth of a child in 1912. There are some brown stins on the cover and wear along the edge. Inside the almanac there are some similar stains for the first couple pages. You can still read the almanac quite well. The back cover has some stains the minor tears in the edge in 3 spots of less than 1/2 cm. The pages are still intact with no detachment from the spine. There is no other writing that I saw other than the cover. These almanacs are neat items that have interesting articles regarding the times in which they were published. However, please recognize that there are some flaws here.

For auction is a working 1958 Pink Western Electric 500 rotary telephone. The housing and the handset buffed out to nice shine and only a few light scratches that can only be seen in direct sunlight. There is one very small nick on the back of the housing please see photos. The phone has the original long pink line cord and 4 prong wall plug. A modular line has been added while keeping the retro look. It is ready to plug in and use. The base. Network and ringer has 1958 date stamps the dial is later date replaced in service. I suspect this was handcrafted by a very talented carpenter. It stands 31 inches high to the top of the posts on the back. It is 16.5 inches high to the top of the telephone book storage place. It is 26.5 inches between the back posts. It is 18 inches from the back leg to the front leg. I can find no stamps or labels. Never seen another one like it. No stains. Early American Country Style Telephone Gossip Table This classic piece of furniture is in great condition for it's age. I'm not sure just how old it is. But I would guess it was made in the 1960's. The only markings are the makers stamp inside the drawer and the number 4886 on the bottom. The makers stamp is actually into the wood. The number on the bottom is an ink stamp. It's made of Sugar Maple wood- very solid and fairly heavy. Excellent quality workmanship. Built when American manufacturers proudly made things to last. I tried to get a good photo of the stamp but you can only really make out the manufacturer- O'Hearn- and the location- Gardner Mass. You can barely make out the Sugar Maple on the stamp in between. This is a fully working original and more sought after 1982 BT/ GPO Snowdon Range or Phoenix Trimphone in the desirable and contemporary two tone brown/ cream colour. On the base it is marked. TELE 8722G B.T. QC/CCF BATCH SAMPLED FWR 82 for 1982, so this telephone is now 31 years old. The case and handset have been cleaned and polished thoroughly and have come up very good, with the usual marks and scratches from careful use over the years but hardly noticable, please see the pictures. There is only minor discolouration here and there but overall this phone is a very good, clean working example. There is one small minor crack on the top edge of the handset, however it is barely noticable and looks more llike a small scratch please see picture 10. The curly cream handset cord has been thoroughly cleaned, has no twists and is tight and not ... morestretched like some. The line cord has also been thoroughly cleaned and is a very good length, making it a very practical telephone. I have removed and cleaned the dial and the number plate. The rotary dial is working well. Nice and smooth and it has the original clear plastic centre cover intact. It retains its vintage original paper label for, Cambridge 871441' Speech is very clear and the warble ringer is working very well in the'loud' and'soft' positions on the plastic dial at the base. The four rubber feet are in very good condition. Due to its rarity. This example overall would grace any telephone collection nicely or just for everyday use as these telephones will outlast any modern replica It is fitted with a standard BT plug so it is ready to use straight away with any landline that supports pulse dialling. Phones that use pulse dialling are compatible with most cable networks in that they will still accept incoming calls but will not dial out. This is a beautiful. Fully working and converted 1970's BT/ GPO 746 telephone in the very popular, desirable and contemporary glossy black colour. On the base it is marked, 746F GEN 74/1 for 1974, so it is now 39 years old. It was manufactured by G.E.C. The General Electric Co Ltd of England) I have removed the case. The mouth piece, the ear piece, dial outer ring and blanking button on top and cleaned and polished them thoroughly, including careful removal and cleaning of the dial and the number plate, the casing and handset have come up good, with the usual usage marks/ scratches for the age, remember this isn't a brand new item. There are no splits or cracks to the black plastic and no obvious signs of discolouration. Overall. This example would grace any telephone collection nicely or just for everyday use as these telephones ... morewill outlast any modern replica. The original clear plastic centre disc is in place and retains one of my very good quality paper disc for'Park Lane 2984' The dial is very smooth and the curly black handset cable has been thoroughly cleaned, has no twists and is tight and not stretched. The black line cord is brand new. The four rubber feet are in good condition. Speech is very clear and the switch ringer is working very well, nice and loud! It has a standard BT plug and is ready to use straight away with any landline that supports pulse dialling. Phones that use pulse dialling are compatible with most cable networks in that they will still accept incoming calls but will not dial out. So please be aware if your telephone line has pulse and tone dialling. I tested this phone on a BT and Virgin line making calls and receiving calls without any problems including mobiles. Antique mirror on Scissor Bracket cast iron expanding OC White telephone lamp
I have lots of antiques listed and more on the way. This is a RARE find great scissor bracket that does work and still has the original mirro with it. The mirror has no chips or cracks but the silvering is aged as it should be for one this old. These brackets are great for phones or whatever. This probably came from an old dentist or somewhere they needed a mirror handy and it could stay in place.

Vintage Large Brown Ceramic Telephone/Power Transformer Insulator/10 Chance 1960
WELCOME! You are bidding on a vintage brown ceramic and cast metal telephone or power transformer insulator. This is a large one that I think will interlock with others. On the metal it is marked 2852 on one side and Chance on the other. And on the ceramic it is marked"10 Chance 1960" There is a crack in the ceramic on the under side. It is probably from uninstalling it or being tossed around in storage. It is heavy. I do have a couple more of these with different markings listed. Check them out!
