They are in perfect condition They were painted light green when I purchased them. I do professional antique restoration and I stripped and finished them. They have many coats of hand-rubbed finish on them. I have finished them in a mixture I combine myself so they are weather resistant and have some UV protection. Up for auction is a pair of hickory rocking chairs. These chairs were made by the Indiana Hickory Furniture Co. in Colfax Ind. They have a branding on the legs. These chairs are in good condition for there age which I would guess they are from the 1920s. All the wood is in good condition. The seats and backs are in solid condition but there are a few broken pieces on the hickory bark slats.webbing) The webbing appears to have been painted several times. There are 2 colors of green and some orange paint on them. The have a great patina. Anyway ask questions for I am not an expert on the Old Hickory Sytle furniture. I will be happy to try and answer. For auction are two antique Shaker rockers from the New Lebanon(Mt. Lebanon) Shaker Village. The smaller rocker measures 35 x20.5x15. This rocker is in good condition though there are cracks in each arm(see pics) This does not impact the function of the rocker. This rocker is not labeled though is the size 3. The larger rocker is signed(see pics) with the Shaker label and the number 7. It measures 42 x 25x 19. This rocker is in good condition though again there is a crack in the arm and in one of the back ladders. Both rockers appeared to have non-professional fixes to the cracks and they have been re- taped with the cotton Shaker tape. The price reflects the rockers imperfections, though these rockers are functional and beautiful and a great way to break into owning some amazing Shaker history. These are a pair of rocking chairs that have been well used but in fairly good condition. Not sure of the manufacturer or when they were built but they have been in my family for 40+ years. They need a little TLC to get back to looking great but are still sturdy. One has newer reupholstered cushion with some added bracing at some point. As shown in pictures. The other one has original cushion and fabric on it and does not have any added bracing.

Beautiful Antique Rocking Chairs- mid 1800's
These two"mom and pop" chairs were passed down in my family from my great-great-great grandparents and German immigrants. Wilhelm and Wilhelmine. I'm not sure about the exact date and origins of the chairs, but they came to America in the mid-1800s. 1860s I think? The smaller"mom" chair(with spindles on the back) has a crack forming on the bottom. Which makes the chair squeak a bit. There is a photo of this. The larger"pop" chair is in great condition, and doesn't squeak at all. Really beautiful antique chairs. And I'd love for them to stay together, if possible. Antique Pair of Rocking Chairs over 100 yrs. old botno
We're not sure of the exact age of these other than they are somewhere over 100; did not see a maker's name on them when taking the photos but perhaps you may know from the woodwork. Was going to list these separate but will list them as a pair first as it makes them rather unique. The cloth covering the chairs is good heavy material that will wear well but is not rough or uncomfortable to sit in. Listing as local pickup only but will deliver within 100 miles at $1.00 per mile. The one is complete and the one arm is a little loose, nothing that wood glue can't fix! The other is missing the bottom rockers and the veneer is missing in some places. Pair of antique mahogany folding rocking chairs with fabric seats and backs. In very good condition. I believe these were built in the 1930s. The finish on these chairs is missing paint/varnish in a few areas, and shows signs of wear as might be expected. The brocade trim is missing around the fabric on one of the seats. These are small and stand low to the ground and may actually be for children. When open for use they stand 28" high to the back of the seat, 16" high to the seat itself, 28" from front to back, and 17" wide. Folded, they are 36" high and 8" from front to back. Paypal only.
