Civil War or Indian War Period Original Uniform(coat and pants) The uniform has very little. If any moth damage. The uniform is blue wool and shows some period wear. The jacket has a couple of period repairs. The buttons are all there and in good condition. The buttons are New Hampshire State and are marked Waterbury Scovill MfgCo. I am no expert on the period of this uniform. Please keep that in mind. I thought this might be a M1872 uniform, but now I am not completely sure. This would make a great display. Artifact Indian Rock Bowl
This artifact was excavated in the western U.S. The person I obtained it from(a business partner) owned it for 15 years and prior to that it was owned by her father. She took it to be evaluated when she obtained it and it was authenticated and was told it dates back to when the Spaniards settled in the west or possibly older so were talking hundreds and hundreds of years old. While serving on a Rotary Group Study Exchange team to India in 1976. I ran across a collector of ancient Indian coins. He looked for old Indian coins like someone in the United States would look for Civil War ralics of dart points. He gave me an ancient Indian coin he said was 300 years old from Jamnagap state. The included photos are side one and side two of the same coin. It is approximately 5/8" across and 3/8" thick. The coin is very heavy.
