NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LAS MERCEDES. Antique model ship of the famous Spanish frigate. Sunk in 1804 in the battle of the Cape of Santa Maria. Is an original early 1900's model. Extraordinarily beautiful and completely made by hand. All its parts were created and assembled by an expert craftsman. Solid hull with its original paint. Watch the magnificent marquetry work. In the stern and embedded in the wood retains the figure with relief of Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes. The figurehead is one arabian head. Conservation: The ship is in good condition. But with the passing of the years the ship suffered some damages, has some loose strings, the upper part of the mast has a break and the bowsprit was split and lacks one of the two anchors as well as one of the two stern lights. It has also lost some of their cannons. Dimensions: Overall ... moreheight: 50 cm. Hull length: 42 cm. With the bowsprit length: 54 cms. History: was traveling in a small fleet of four ships returning to Spain from South America in 1804 carrying enormous quantities of gold. Silver and jewels. Antique german "Mercedes" mechanical clock
Very nice and well preserved antique german clock. Cremaic case with a very pretty and cool two light green color. The movement is signed"Gerb.Hause" and is in full working order and has been oiled recently. I took it a part to inspect and the original owner had this serviced as you can smell the oil whe it is taken apart. I wound this about four times and the time keeping is dead on and it has very sound"tick" The dial is a gold tone metal dial with roman numerals and it has gold tone metal art deco hands. Diali is signed"Mercedes: and"Made in germany" All original parts. Crystal and hardware. The winder on the back widns as it should and is a very solid wind. This is an old clock and should be treated as such when winding. You dont need to do anythign special other than remember that this is an old clock ... morefrom Germany. Antique & original Mercedes/Daimler advertising poster/MEIN BENZ/1915-1920/rare!
This is an original and very rare print on laminated wood of a famous ad/poster for Mercedes. Titled. MEIN BENZ, this piece dates from around 1915 to 1920. Through research on the Internet, I found a couple of"Mein Benz" posters, a period cigarette case and only one version of it on wood as shown here. The wood version like mine, sold with another Mercedes collectable for over $3600. One of the posters for sale is over $3000. The cigarette case sold in the $4000 range. There are contemporary reprints of the poster that can be purchased for $50 or so. The one that I am selling came directly from a local estate where it has been for over 30 years. I guarantee it to be original or I will gladly take it back. As mentioned, it is printed on laminated wood with a beveled edge all around it. In the lower left, it reads"D. R. Patent, ... morethe DR standing for the name of Germany pre-1940. Size is about 12&1/4" by 17&3/4. Condition is as found and as shown. The only problem is some wood loss in the beveled areas in all four corners- however, that doesn't not take away from the overall presentation. This is an exceptionally rare offering, one that already demands big money and I would assume, will continue to do so. I am not sure of one thing- in the back the is a half circle cut out and this is usually to set the clock if it is going to fast or to slow- but there is not a piece there to move one direction or the other. Very old antique Mercedes Shelf Mantle Clock
Structurally this clock looks very solid to me. It is a cast metal with a bronze type finish on it. I am a novice so please look at the pictures very carefully. The clock is untested and probably needs repair. Selling as-is. The face is very dirty and there is patina on the cherub's face. Back of hair and elsewhere. Some of the finish is coming off on the back. There is a small bolt on the back that seems missing. There is a hole in the cherub's bottom and in the head. Antique 1930'S MERCEDES PRIMA TYPEWRITER IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION.
This is a really fantastic piece of machinery! It is in terrific condition and looks beautiful! There are some minor nicks on the case from hanging around for 65+ years. This typewriter was brought home from Germany by a GI in 1945. It looks like a museum piece or a product that just left the factory. The 13mm ribbon still has life in it. It has a German keyboard and is in excellent working condition. Limitations noted above, notwithstanding. Not only is the key like new, but the string that's attached goes back the same 65+ years. Perhaps one of the most beautiful clocks we'll ever see. A magnificent. Vintage pair of Italian ceramic horses, a mare and her colt, with time consuming and finely painted surfaces baked into a scene that nearly comes alive with movement! Every muscle is finely crafted. The style presented here is indicative of other objects that I've seen from 1883. Accent that with generous gold painted surfaces! After all these years there are no chips. Or crazing that I can find. This piece of old ceramic is very. Very delicate. Treat it with care if you buy it. =] There are two very small hairline cracks that I can find, but I can't feel them via the fingernail test. In my opinion they represent very minor paint flaws. I could only find them with my magnifying glass. Oh, and by the way, the antique German Mercedes clock now runs like a.clock. ... morelol.
