Up for auction is this Outstanding Art Deco Ladies wristwatch made with a sterling silver case adorned with Marcasite's. This watch has a fabulous art deco geometrical design to it and is in very good vintage shape. It runs good and has one marcasite missing. The watch part, not including the band is 2 1/8 inches long and 7/16 wide( almost 1/2 inch wide) The total inside to inside measurement is 6 inches and it weighs altogether 14.6 grams. This piece is marked LS in a rectangle, an A in a square and is marked 925 in an oval shape, it has one more mark that I cannot make out. The band can be changed if it does not fit you. The print is in excellent condition and is housed in what looks like the original frame from the late 1940’s. You can see. Very faintly, on the print“ copyright 1947” The print is just under 6 x 8. The frame is just under 12 x 15. Note the staining of the mat on the right side which does not come in contact with the print and as well the discoloration at the top of the print which touches the print matt but not the print. Presented is a gorgeous Art Deco era sapphire blue crystal and gilt filigree metal hinged bracelet. This bracelet features a filigree panel on the top with a domed faceted crystal in the center and four blue rhinestones. The panel connects to the base of the bracelet with a hook clasp. The interior length is 7-1/4" long(all the way around) The top center element measures 1-1/8" wide x 1-3/4" long. This piece is in good condition commensurate with age. The crystal and rhinestone are securely intact and bright. The gilt metal has dulled a little with age. But still has a nice patina. Old Vintage 14k White Gold & Diamond Art Deco Post Drop Pierced Earrings 1920's
Here for your consideration are a pair of antique earrings post Victorian era. They are from the 1920's or so and have an Art Deco look to them. Earrings are white gold with"beveled" posts and a drop with a cut out design. There are two small diamonds. One at the top post and another at the lower part of the drop. They appear to be about the same size. About 1/4 carat or so. Post has"screw" on backs that hold securely to the ear. Gold is unmarked but test positive for 14k. Length is 1 1/4 inches and width at widest point is 3/8 inches. Total weight is 3.1 grams. Earrings are in excellent vintage condition! Some deeper gouges/scrapes on the interior are shown(possibly wear from the ringer, or from previous mounting) It has a really nice“ring” to it and the sound lasts a long time; you can tell it’s been“tuned”engineered for tone. There is a very superficial patina of rust on the inner and outer surfaces. If you intend to paint the bell(like the nice gold-tone example pictured) Your surface preparation need be only minimal. It appears that the bell originally had a very light coating of paint on it, but that’s mostly gone. Picture marked“99” is the actual cover with which this bell was originally mated. I am not certain of actual manufacture date. But I believe that some of the art deco covers date back as early as the 1930's. Covers come up for auction once or twice a month(see two links below) But rarely is the interior bell available.
