Her hair is a soft ... morebrown mohair fixed very nice and she has a beautiful painted face. The bottom skirt area is tan with a bottom circle of covered cardboard and it is all in great condition with no damage. It seems to be stuffed with straw. I checked a doll book and it says she is bisque. There are similar ones also listed on e-bay that say bisque, I was told she is porcelain so I am unsure. It also has a small area of veneer loss at the top corner. I am unsure of the age or manufacture of the piece. It has the look of a chest on chest piece but it is actually a one piece chest, with five (5) drawers. It is made of solid wood, and has a maple veneer finish and dovetail joints on the drawers. The piece sits on bracket feet and is sturdy and stable. It is 52" tall, with the lower portion being about 30" tall. It is 19.5" wide from front to back, and 32.5" long side to side. It is a nice chest of drawers that will be a beautiful addition to your home with a little TLC.
