I ncluded is three sizes: Large measuring 13" L x 13" D x 10 H. Medium measuring 13" L x 13" D x 7" H and the Small measuring 8 1/2" W x 8 1/2" D x 6 1/2" H. The large crate's capacity is 7 1/2 dozen eggs and has 3 pulp fiber cardboard separators each holding 30 eggs. The medium crate's capacity is 5 dozen eggs and has 2 pulp fiber cardboard separators each holding 30 eggs. The small crate's capacity is 1 1/2 dozen eggs and has 2 pulp fiber cardboard separators each holding 9 eggs. T hey were used on farms for gathering the Hen's eggs from the chicken coop that were to be sold. The eggs would be transported to the Country Store or Market in these to prevent the breaking of the eggs. They are constructed with a sturdy wood slat design with a wire and wood handle on the secure lock top. The top's design is made to not come off while they were being carried. The crate is in pretty good condition with a couple of cracks on one side. The label is also in good condition with no rips, tears or stains. It is about 19.5" tall, 12" wide and 9" deep. Cats sitting on a wooden picket fence note paper display was purchased sometime in the early 1980's. There are no markings on the crate to indicate origin or manufacturer. Crate is approximately 5 1/2" long. 3 3/4" high and 1 1/2" deep. I am unsure of how many sheets of 5" x 3 1/2" paper is included, however, the paper measures approximately 3/4" thick. Paper is discolored due to age. Crate construction appears to be glue and metal staples. Item was used for decorative purposes only in a smoke free. Pet free home environment. Some sides have held up better from age, use, etc. than others. Metal strapping is all intact- don't see any missing nails. Inside is marked"Miller Mfg. Co.
