Vintage Mid Century Temple Rubbings Signed Bamboo Frame
Marked on the back of the frame. Temple Rubbings 5056 and inspector#3. I found one similar to this that says it's from the 1950's. Signed on the front, but I can't figure out the name. I hope the pictures do it justice. The frame is 15 1/2 inches by 22 3/8 inches and made of bamboo. The practice was outlawed because it was causing damage to the temples. That's about all I know. Oh my gosh. What a beautiful print this is! As you can see in the photos, the print itself is more of a sepia color. Not really black and white. More brown and cream. I think this may be an old advertisement but I'm not sure. The information that I can glean from the print is this: the print is titled"Pick-A-Back" In the upper right-hand corner is says"McLeon-Bracker 1936. In the lower right-hand corner is printed"Copyright, 1936, The Hoover Company" The print is an old frame. I don't know if this is the original frame. I understand my great Aunts purchased them in the 1950s. Maybe, you read my information regarding their lovely Estate/Mansion. I have put on many, many pictures, frames, items from their Magnificent home. they were my grandmother's sisters who never married and lived in their family Estate all their life. It was like a Museum. They really had taste in everything that was in the home and of course things they grew up with. Therefore, I do not know dates exactly, prices, etc. I just keep unwrapping all the boxes that I feel I will never finished opening. My understanding of what happened in their home that left some of their items not perfect wasn't only the age of the items. ... moreBut. When they were away on a trip their home was broken into. Of course, it wasn't in the days of the computer or electronics. They were after Silver, Gold, Jewelry, Oil Paintings, etc. From what I heard they just knocked things off of walls that they didn't want- Broke Glassware, etc. Therefore these pictures are not perfect. There are some water marks on the beige backing. However, a restoration art dealer could no doubt fix them up easily. However, they were placed back on the walls in my Aunts house and no want really noticed the imperfections. Ran Su just kind of disappeared from the Art World from what I understand and I tried to look him up. His art pieces are going for a lot of money. Because of the damage I feel I am pricing them right. The Picture unscrews easily from the back removing the picture from the outer frame. The water droplets looks like they belong almost. That they are trying to catch them in the bowl. THERE IS THE MATCHING LADY PICTURE THAT I WILL BE PUTTING ON. They had them facing each other on their Walls. They are tunning looking. Small vintage pietra dura plaque depicting a mountain scene and I see it is artist signed. The frame it's in which looks to be original measures 7 1/2 by 8 1/4in. the plaque itself measures 3 by 3 3/4in. and is very nicely done, it looks to be in perfect condition and I do see the artists name on the lower left corner, if you collect pietra dura pieces which seem to becoming harder and harder to find this is a nice one and does show good age.

Have up for sale Vintage Photo of Military uniformed man from WWI. This is a studio original photo on vintage photo paper of a very handsome man. The photo is inside a very old antique wood frame. This is OLD! The photo has aged and is actually bubbled outwards from the backside of frame. The inside glass of frame needs to be wiped clean. It has some dirty areas on inside. Photo has some aged spots and discoloration but otherwise looks great. The wood frame itself has aged. There is areas of some damage, given its age it has held up really good. The nails on backside of this frame are definitely primitive(unlike modern nails of today) and old. ID tags or markings on the engine that we can find. There is a piece of the engine mounting base broken and missing at a mount bolt hole and can be seen in the photos. The governor belt is somewhat loose and not driving as it should. The boiler ash door is missing a hinge. Vintage core 4k memory block with frame, wiring,and connectors - rare rare!!!!
This is a very rare and beautiful piece of true Computer History. This is a complete giant carbon core memory block with frame. Wiring,and connectors that came out of a second generation( completely Transistoized- no ICs)General Electric 235 Mainframe computer that was made in the 1960's. This is a 4K memory block and there were 4 of them in the mainframe for a total of 16K– imagine that– only 16 k. We used to call it the memory core- or the memory Stack. Back then this memory was only used as input and output so a lot of memory was not needed as all the data was handled out on the tape drives. Plus it was all text and numbers based. This block has 25-26 plains I believe. I guess you could break it apart but these memory blocks are so rare and in such great shape it would be a shame to break it down. I have always left them intact. When ... morethese items were new they sold for over $9.000.00– I know because I used to have to order one now and then. They were hand made by the General Electric Computer Division in Phoenix AZ and took 100’s of hours to weave. It was quite an interesting process. It’s hard to believe but I think they contain over 100,000 extremely small carbon ferrite donuts(see pic) Too small for me to count so that is a guess. The pictures say it all. Pretty nice looking as you can see. There are not many of these around and are extremely rare. If you are a collector of fine old vintage computer parts then this will be an asset to your collection. If you want more information on the GE 235 all you have to do it Google it. It really was a great system. I worked on them for 20 years and still have fond memories. This was back when computer technicians were really computer techs. You had to know electronics and you had to know logic and know them well. The good old days. Beautiful Gold paint on wooden frame. Small oval shaped. Glass frame featuring an nice ornate design. Very nice Rose Cross Stitch included with this frame, I am assuming it is the original. The frame has a sticker on the back from the T. Eaton Co Limited of Montreal and a reference number(See pic) for the Picture Department. The frame measures roughly 12.25" long and 10.25" wide and is about 1.5" deep. In great condition for the age some scuffs and a chip off the bottom. Very solid and fairly heavy weighing almost 685 Grams.

LARGE Vintage/ANTIQUE OVAL BUBBLE GLASS PICTURE AND FRAME MILITARY 23" x 17"
Beautiful Gold paint on wooden frame. Very large oval shaped. Bubble glass frame featuring an amazing ornate design. Very nice image included with this frame, I am assuming it is the original. Nice distinguished military gentleman. The frame measures roughly 23" long and 17" wide and is about 1.5" deep. In great condition for the age some scuffs and light gouging. One repair that isn't so obvious but I've taken a close up of it in picture#8. Very solid and fairly heavy weighing almost 2.3kg.

Offered is a wonderful old dark walnut pucture frame from an estate. Circa late 1800s to early 1900s. Nice orange peeled look to finish. A bit of finish wear, origianl gold gilt inner border over gesso. Some cracking in border, some silvering to gold. Some scuffing to frame finish. It measures 11 1/4"w x 13 3/8"h.
