This fine antique George III sterling silver samovar has plain urn shaped form supported by a spreading circular pedestal foot onto a plain square base and four bun style feet. The plain upper portion of the body is embellished with a fine and impressive bright cut engraved crest displaying a stag’s head couped. Between the attires a cross pattée above an Earls coronet and coat of arms quarterly, in the first and forth within a double tressure flory counter-flory three mullets, and to the second and third three cross pattée. The incurved shoulders of this impressive samovar are encircled with fine panels of bright cut engraved floral and leaf ornamentation flanked with bands of reed decoration. The lower portion of the body is embellished with impressive embossed fluted decoration. The decoration to the lower portion incorporates a fine and impressive reed decorated spigot. The spigot retains the impressive original semi-circular shaped carved natural handle. The samovar is fitted with a pair of fine and impressive narrow loop carrying handles embellished with singular leaf designs which are incorporated into the shaped thumbpieces. The collared upper terminal of each handle is embellished with an impressive chased decorated leaf ornament. This impressive Georgian samovar retains the original plain waisted push fit cover embellished with bright cut engraved and pin struck undulating borders and a band of reed decoration to the rim. The domed portion of the cover is encircled with an impressive central embossed floral motif surmounted with the original detachable sterling silver acorn style finial. Cambridge Amethyst Samovar in a Farberware holder. The brown spots in the last photo are from the cork that is used in the bottom of the lid. The cork is great coniditon. The knob does not turn on the samovar. Used- No chips. Stains or cracks to item. On Feb-18-14 at 13:39:09 PST. Seller added the following information: I have been informed by a Ebay customer that this samovar or beverage urn was made by Farber Brothers Bros. and is not Farberware. The bottom of the samovar does show Farber Brothers and a patent number.

The Tea Urn is one the nicest ... moreRegency Period examples I have sold in a long time. The Urn features excellent early 19th Century Cannon Ball form with wonderful sweeping side Handles. The Pot also features a great Flower finial and large footed design base. The Urn is top quality throughout and though unmarked. As most Sheffield Plate never was, it is certainly by a top maker of the period. The Urn is a great size for display or modern use measuring approx 14-1/2" tall by 11-1/4" wide across the handles and will hold approx 20 cups. The Urn is in excellent condition with no Plate wear, dents, cracks or repairs. Also when we filled it the tap worked perfectly. The only flaw is the knob on the handle looks to have been replaced, this is very minor but we prefer to point out everything. The Urn is much nicer in real life and I am certain the new owner will be most impressed. Large silverplate samovar antique-English?
Outstanding Silverplate samovar that measures 18 inches tall and 15 inches from handle to handle. This piece is very desirable with a very bright luster and no wear marks of any kind. The upper rim is finely chased as well as the double handle mounts. This piece is very heavy and has an extra thickness of metal on the bowl and the footed base. The silver luster is very brilliant and no polishing is needed. I could not find a makers name but there is a heavy plate with a square nut that may reveal a maker. Looks like English in design but I cannot tell you its origin. I have other pieces of silver plate on ebay at this time so combined shipping is possible. Check out my!

We purchased this magnificent, silver plated, Samovar at a prestigious auction house in Connecticut and though it is unmarked, it was noted as American made circa: 1900’s to 1910 due to its styling and form. The samovar measures 17 inches high, 11.75 inches wide from handle to handle, 5 inches in diameter at the top opening and 5 inches wide between each foot. This gorgeous piece holds 15, eight ounce cups when filled to the top which is a generous size for today’s entertaining purposes. Beautiful Art Deco Design Electric Percolator Coffee Pot by Royal Rochester and the Robeson Rochester Corp. in the early 1920's through the 1930's. The patent dates for this item are 1926/29. Yes. It does work perfectly! It was tested with water only, no coffee added. Ceramic parts were made by Fraunfelter/ Ohio China Co. until it went into bankruptcy in 1939. Made during the Depression, Royal Rochester products were considered top of the line luxury goods and produced in small quantities. This coffee pot has all of it parts(inside metal parts has some slight staining that may be polished out) and a accompanying cord. The ceramic parts have no cracks or chips and are in excellent condition. The silver metal base and lid are also in great shape but, do need a good polishing. The samovar stands 18 inches tall by 9.5 inches wide. The burner looks to be original and fits fine. Both handles are secure as is the finial. The inside is clean and usable and the spout works as it should. The samovar features repouse flowers forming a band. And over sized handle. The finish is in both the traditional silver plate finish and the Butler finish used to replicate years of polishing by the butler giving a superb contrast. The tea bowl is not present. Measurements: The pot is 2& 3/4" to the top of the finial. And 5" handle to spout. The samovar is 8& 3/4" tall. The tray is 8" long and 5& 5/8th" at the widest point. Assembled, this measures 11& 5/8th" tall. The total weight is 1.092 KG. Condition: One of the finials on the side of the handles on the samovar is a replacement(and not a very good fitting one at that) One of wood spacers on the finials on the shoulders of the samovar is missing. The wooden handles are dry and fracturing. This looks as if some sort of coating was applied to it(anti tarnish or something) It's mostly peeled off. I would leave it up to the buyer to decide what type of solvent to use to remove it.

This is a very rare solid brass handmade tea kettle. Burner and stand set made late 19th century. It is a very intricate high quality tea set and made from very heavy solid brass. the stand is crafted by hand and has two very dimensional. Large, and heavy standing monkeys with hands out. they are mounted to the beautifully footed base with their tails through their legs holding the burner mount. the hands of the monkeys also actually hold the knobs on the kettle. the kettle is extremely detailed and also hand made from very thick brass. the handle swivels and is in the shape of a king cobra. One side is the head and the other the tail. the spout is also a peacock head and the contents pour from its mouth. also has beautiful hand engraved feather detailing wrapping the top of the kettle. the sides also has a very detailed heavily engraved ... morehunting scene with figures and many different animals. the burner sits under the kettle. Holds fluid in the bottom part, and the small round spout at the top holds a wick. it is made to heat the kettle at top to brew the tea. the piece is in nice shape. Extremely heavy, and has a wonderful patina from age. it measures 10 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/4 inches tall without measuring the handle of the pot by 8 1/2 inches back to front. there is a repair on one of the monkeys tails but was a good repair. You are bidding on or looking at an antique Russian. 19" tall, ribbed vase style samovar. One foot is broken off and needs to be welded or maybe soldered on. Spigot key is a most unusual type and very nice looking. All original wood handles and knobs. There's a brass ring that fits between the lid and crown, these are not so common. There are heart shaped venting holes at base which I have never seen before. Samovar is in overall very nice condition and a very attractive display unit. This is a rather tall. Antique Manning Bowman Co. Samovar.This set was given to my dad years ago. This comes with 6 copper demitasse cups and also the copper tray. The samovar measures approx. 15" in height. Has the lid which is topped with glass and also the inside stem and basket. Parts of the spout and handles are brass. Each cup is copper with a handle and have porcelain Buffalo China inserts. Each cup with insert measures 2 1/2" One cup has hairline and one fleck on another. The serving tray is copper and measures 18" x 13" Patent dates on the bottom of the samovar are 1910, 1923,1935. This is an electric samovar. But. does not heat up. I do not know what is wrong with it, and do not know how to fix it, so that is up to buyer. There is a removable piece on the underside that houses a fuse and heating unit, so I assume that is what needs ... morerepair. The electric cord is unique for this piece and in good shape, and of course included. I have cleaned this the best I could, but it does need more polishing and reviving. Up for auction are Russian Imperial brass Turnip shaped samovar& chimney extension. Drip bowl and samovar tray with 2 handles. This 7-quart samovar measures 16" in height. 15" from the handle to handle and about 11" in diameter. It is stamped with double eagle Imperial mark. Profile of the Russian Emperor Alexander II. Some awards and partially visible maker's name.RNIN? The chimney: 7 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" base diameter. The drip bowl: 3" tall. 2 1/4" base and 5 1/2" top diameter. RARE STERLING SILVER SAMOVAR TILTING TEA POT COFFEE POT
Item up for auction You are bidding on lovely silver titling tea/coffee pot with warming stand and alcohol burner. The tipping pot stands almost 13 inches tall while resting on the stand and 10 1/2 inches tall resting on a table. Inside the hinged lid is a maker's mark and below is"Sterling 2152" To one side is the# 652. See picture. There are no other markings on the pot. The number 151 is marked on the bottom of the alcohol burner. I cannot see any markings on the stand. The pot looks like it has been repaired in several spots on the spout. The handle and the body. There are 2 small pin holes on the bottom of the handle(see pictures) I am not sure of the maker or the manufactured date, but would guess the piece is fairly old. This incredible Samovar is dated between 200- 400 years old. It appears to be solid brass. As when Got it it was black, and with just some elbow grease and Brasso, Ta da! I am in NO way an expert, in these or even in antiques, just helping a very dear friend who got these out of Iran over 50 years ago(yes there are a lot more to come 40 in all I believe) Will post as I go through them, and polish them up a bit.not fun! What a statement this exquisite Samovar will make at your next elegant dinner party or buffet. We purchased this magnificent. Silver plated, Samovar from an individual who stated it was seldom used as it mostly sat as an accent piece on their sideboard. This very fine piece bears the FB Rogers hallmark, a manufacturing firm founded in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1886. The samovar measures 15.25 inches high, 10 inches wide from handle to handle, 4.50 inches in diameter at the top opening and 5 inches wide between each elegant, scrolled foot. This gorgeous piece holds 13, eight ounce cups when filled to the top which is a generous size for today’s entertaining purposes. We filled up the samovar it does not leak, pours freely and shuts off easily. The urn shaped samovar rests upon four. Scrolled feet that have an ornate Acanthus leaf design. The ... moretwo flowing and curved handles also have a scroll and Acanthus leaf design which includes two leaves coming together to provide comfortable thumb rests. Insulators have been added to each handle to absorb the heat from the contents within. A working spout decorated with a scroll design attaches to the samovar with a similar decorated medallion. A domed cover is topped with a striking, topiary designed finial. The original burner is included and snugly fits into the bottom. A graceful samovar that will provide elegance for many more generations to come. Other than the small scratches found on estate pieces from prior use that gives a piece its luster and the tiniest of a ping on the front that is barely noticeable. The samovar is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no repairs. Flaking or silver wear to note. The inside is clean with no rust or pitting and the outside has a mirror like shine. There are also some letters on the medallion surrounding the spout(illegible) Very nice antique condition- no dents or cracks on samovar body. Teeny ding on cover of interior burner. Samovar cover fits tightly. Spout moves easily. Sits solidly and squarely on bun feet. Some silver rubbing to show copper(mainly on cover) Very warm patina. We have not polished the silver. Handle has been broken off, but is still functional. Places exposed can be covered with some kind of ornate or glass item to cover the area and will not be noticed that handle is broken. Item measures about 14" tall x 10" wide. Pot has ornate trim on spout, handle and lid and has a"hinged side lid" I just noticed a slight dent on one side just above the stand. Stand has some ornamentation and is undamaged with alcohol warming burner in tact. Item needs a good cleaning and polish. its been over a year since I did that!
