I'm presuming Wedgwood from what I've read but cameo has not been removed to check for markings) Tray is marked"bronze" but looks more like copper to me. Measures 10" long. Width tapers from 3 1/8" to 2 3/4" About 5/8" deep. Please view all photos as I'm not an expert on describing metalware. I'm selling this in"as found" condition from an estate. As you can see there is wear. Soiling/staining, a few tiny oxidation spots, light scuffing. I think some may be ink(probably a pen tray) that may be able to be cleaned but I will leave that to expert. Heintz Arts and Crafts 12" - Sterling Poppy Design on Mottled Bronze Vase
This clean. Fresh looking 12& 1/4" bronze vase was made by the Heintz Art Metal Shop and their logo and other markings can be seen on the bottom of the vase as follows: 3809 Heintz logo of HAMT STERLING ON BRONZE PAT.AUG.27,12 The vase itself is in excellent condition with no bends.Bumps or dents and the original surface mottling appears to be in fine condition save for a slight supeficial scrape just above the top of the tallest poppy. The scrape seems apparent only upon close inspection. The vase measures 12& 1/4" tall, the mouth of the vase is appproximately 3& 1/2" across and it is about 5" across at its widest. It is fine enough to add to a serious collector's stash.

Offering this fabulous Arts and Craft period large sterling silver on bronze vase manufactured in the early part of the 20th century by the Heintz Art Metal Studio. An extremely fine example of Heintz's work and highly prized amongst collectors. This wonderful piece is a large cylinder vase decorated with sterling silver cattails heavily overlayed on bronze. The silver overlay depicted in Arts& Crafts motifs are often organic and taken from nature. We believe this is in pristine condition it is our opinion that there are no dents dings bends or damage has original applied Verde Patina finish. It has the brown mottling which according to an expert was more of a special order. Imprint stamped mark on bottom has Heintz Art Metal diamond logo Sterling on bronze Pat Aug 27 12. This has never been polished and does have some normal patina on the applied sterling daffodil flowers. This vase style is featured on the Heintz Collector website which is a must read for those who are not aware of this metal art artist from arts and crafts period early 20th century. ANTIQUE HEINTZ ART METAL STERLING OVER BRONZE DOUBLE INKWELL- American. Circa 1907-1917. You are bidding on a very large Heintz Art Metal sterling silver on bronze double inkwell, the elongated form with pen holder between two capped wells, each with sterling silver overlay of geometric element designs. The entire piece is patinated in a rich dark mottled brown, with a few spots of minor rubbing to one side and in the pen holder. Retains it's 2 original glass inserts and their clever lids, in excellent condition overall for it's age. Most of the Heintz inkwells that we have seen are much smaller than this one. The silver is all intact but could stand some gentle polishing. Measures 14-1/4" long x 2.75" high x 2.875" diameter.

You're bidding on a beautiful Buffalo Art Crafts Shop/ Heintz Art Metal Shop copper and sterling silver inkwell. Dating to about 1905. It measures 6.5"x 6.5" at the base, 3.75"x3.75" on the lid, and it's about 3" tall. It's in generally nice shape for its age. And I think the photos provide a pretty accurate description of its condition. There's definitely evidence of it having been used over all these years- patina' would be a good word to describe it. If you look at photo#6, you'll see the underside of the lid and the edge of the hole for the glass insert has green copper oxidization, plus there is some discoloration and some marks here and there on the entire piece. Nothing really that detracts from the beauty of the piece. If you look at photo#7. You'll see that the glass insert has ... morea pretty healthy chip out of its edge. This is the way I got it, and who knows when it may have received this injury. If you look at photo#8. You'll see that the beautiful overlay design is marked'STERLING' I'm sure if you wanted to polish it, it would shine beautifully, but I decided not to touch anything and let the patina speak for itself. Finally. If you look at photo#9, you'll notice the engraving'7219J' which may indicate the model number of this design. Can't say for certain, but further research may yield the definitive answer. Very Rare Heintz Art Metal Studios Tobacco Jar, circa 1910's
From 1906 to 1918. Otto Heintz produced a line of highly prized bronze art, which his company manufactured using unique, expertly applied patinas and a patented method of applying sterling silver to bronze without solder. Otto died suddenly in 1918, and the company's name was changed to Smith Metal Arts Co. This is an original Heintz Art Metal Shop tobacco jar. It is made between the time the silver application was patented in 1912 and the time Otto died in 1918. Because the piece exhibits the patented application, and still bears the company's original name, Heintz, which is stamped on the bottom(you can see the H crossed through the M) The loop on the inside of the lid is used to hold a damp sponge for keeping one's tobacco moist. Lovely antique Heintz Art Metal Shop sterling silver on bronze matchbox holder/ ashtray. Arts and Crafts style ashtray is 6 7/8 inches diameter. 7 7/8 inches wide, 4 inches tall. It will fit a match bow 1 1/2 inches wide, 2 3/8 inches long, 3/4 inch deep. Back plate of the matchbox stand is a little bent. Even medium bronze patina has a few marks(possibly cigarette burns) no dents, there are some tiny dings, the beautiful arts and crafts motif sterling silver decoration is tarnished. Stamped with Heintz Art Metal Shop's diamond HAMS logo and"2644 O Sterling on Bronze Pat Aug 27 12" in the center. High Bidder pays US funds within 4 days. Arts Crafts Copper or Bronze w Sterling appliqué frame Heintz? Don't know! OLD
4" X 5 3/8" very old picture frame. Solid copper or bronze(not sure. But looks like copper) with sterling silver overlay. The sterling has a mark"Sterling" in lower left corner of overlay. No other marks. I researched this and it could be quite early with the missing paper label from the dark maroon velvet back. Patina looks to be untouched. I've owned this for 30 years and never cleaned it whatsoever, and it was like this when I purchased it. A treasure! See all pics. Please ask questions. Wonderful condition.no damage. Hinged easel works great with no problems. A joy to behold. Only fault is with the velvet.it has worn and looks old. No glass. Nice, solid weight.

Heintz Art Metal Shop Sterling on Bronze Cigar Humidor Wonderful original condition. No dings, bumps or bruises. Beautiful patination. Lid fits squarely on base with a continuous hinge. Original wood interior and perforated metal liner for adding moisture. Overall Length 8&1/2" Width 3&1/2" Height 2&1/2" There is a piece of cardboard behind perforated metal which can be moistened to desired level. 4096 is stamped above the HAMS logo. And 30 is below the Sterling on Bronze, Pat. Aug 27, 1912. The bottom mark is a dragon stamp above the word, CROSS" This is a rare form. Especially in this condition. You see a fair amount of tobacco humidors and cigarette boxes, but this is the first cigar humidor I have seen. It will fit in many different collections from Heintz Art to Arts and Crafts to Tobacciana, but would ... morereally be a great gift for that special cigar afficionado.

Heintz Vase Bronze with Sterling Salamander RARE!
This is an authentic Heintz vase. It has the Maker's Mark Aug. 27. 1912. Has the diamond marker as well. 3586. The patina is lovely with a rare salamander design. The bronze has not and should not be cleaned as to keep the original patina. I have included photos on white and a red back ground to show the color more accurately. Antique Heintz Sterling on Bronze Verdigris Coaster Set Arts & Crafts Pat 1912
Signed Heintz Sterling Silver over Verdigris Bronze Coaster Set Estate find. This is a very nice Heintz Verdigris Coaster Set, or maybe they are ashtrays but I don't think so. It is signed with the Heintz diamond shape trademark on the bottom and says"sterling on bronze, Pat'd August 7, 12(1912) Original green verdigris patina, with sterling silver floral overlay design around the base of the outside piece. The inside pieces are skillfully graduated and fit snuggly inside each other. The largest inside top piece has a lip around the edge which givens the piece a nice finished look. The coaster pieces are bronze color inside and green verdigris finish on the outside. The largest inside piece with the little edge has a very small spot on the top edge where the green finish has worn away. In very good antique condition with minor ... morewear from years of use.
