A stunning. ... moreChic classical antique French boudoir clock set. It is beautifully made in crisp white marble mounted with ormolu(fine gilded bronze/ brass) in the classical taste of Louis XVI. To the top is a flaming finial and quiver of arrows with a swag and flowers. The front is blind fretted with a motif of musical horns and flowers. The side urns have rams head handles and pineapple finials. This is a clock set of excellent quality, the white marble contrasts very nicely with the ormolu which is in excellent condition. The beautifully understated dial is white convex enamel. Elegantly lettered, and fitted with the original finely fretted gilt brass hands and convex glass. The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. A most exquisite original ... moreantique French clock by the famous maker Japy Freres. It is finely modelled in ormolu(finely gilded bronze) Beautifully finished and in stunning original condition. It is mounted with Sevres style porcelain. Each piece is signed faintly on the reverse by the artist. It is decorated with a pompadour rose pink background, the panel below the dial is delicately painted with a scene of a young couple in a country scene with panels of floral swags to each side. The dial itself is decorated with a cherub with a pair of laurel wreaths, an allegory for success. It is lettered in white cartouches against the pink background with turquoise coloured enamel'jewel' half-hour markers. This is a stunning clock, fine ormolu rather then the usual gilt spelter and very original, unusually the case is stamped with the movement's serial number. The dial is mounted in a gilded drum with a pink porcelain urn above. This is decorated with floral swags and ormolu handles. Laurel swags hang below the dial. The original gesso base is covered with pink velvet. It bears a number that is one less then that of the clock, however it is a perfect fit and therefore we think this is an original numbering error. The rear door is glazed with convex frosted glass. Please note that this style of clock does not have a glazed bezel over the dial) The French movement is by Japy Freres and has the makers mark on the backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. Late 1800s vintage New Haven Clock Co. French-style keywind Desk Clock in a birds eye maple veneer case. Not running- I took the movement out and inspected it- needs cleaning and lubrication at minimum. I have no idea if it will run then. But it all looks correct and undamaged other than aging. Very good original condition inside. Clock face is porcelain and has some damage. Crystal is beveled cut glass. Veneer has damage and will need work as well, but it is exquisite. It is beautifully modelled in gilded brass in the Louis XVI classical style. The unusual enamel dial is supported by twin columns flanking an intricately decorated panel of an urn and foliage. The clock is profusely decorated with trailing entangled foliage and a large urn to the top. The dial is enamel on copper. An off-white background with raised cartouche style letters of black on white and blued steel hands. A glazed rear door allows the movement to be seen. The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. Offered for sale is this very impressive German mantel clock. It was made by the Emes Clock Company likely in the third quarter of the twemtieth century but is a"dead ringer" for beautiful French gilded bronze design of the Belle Epoche era. The figural case features a seated lady and lots of fancy detail. The top of the clock is a musical lyre. It is mounted on polished marble base. The clock measures 11" high. 13" long and 5 3/4" deep. It is in very good estate condition with the only significant flaw I find the missing glass over the face. It is currently running but is not keeping time. This ornate French style clock is sure to be a beautiful addition to your elegant period home! The cost of U.S. insured shipping and proper packing is $30.00. French Art Deco Marble Clock This amazing and beautiful original clock was manufactured in France in the late 1920s- early 1930s. The great art deco design and substantial construction make this a very desireable clock. The wonderful multi colored marble case measures 13" wide x 8" high x 4" deep and the clock weighs around 15 pounds. The marble case is in excellent condition with the exception of a small chipped area that may be seen in the top view image. The dial is in good shape as is the original steel and convex glass hinged dial cover. The wind up mechanism does not seem to work but this may just be a simple adjustment. Dish Set, Clock, Wallhanging Utencil Holder, Platters, Dishes etc This is such an interesting set of children's canister set and matching tin dishes with unusual accessories. They are in a nice shade of light blue with interesting Aesop's fables or nursery rhyme figures on the different items. The pictures of nursery rhymes have a very different. European look. I cannot tell exactly which nursery rhymes these represent. There is a little girl with a wolf, but she does not wear a red cape and hood, but could still represent Little Red Riding Hood. The cat could be Puss in Boots, the running man representing the Giant in Jack and the Beanstock. Others are more like Aesop's Fables, the fox ... moreand the stork the wolf and the crane and the turtle and the hare. The words on the canister set are in French. One has the turtle and the hare with the rabbit resting during the race. There is also the Giant with Jack hiding. A fox with a heron and two with a fox and crow. I can't even guess what stories those would represent. The canisters read: Farine, Sucre, Cafe, Fates and E'pices. There are a total of 21 pieces. The unusual pieces are 1. a clock with hands that turn. 2 1/2" square. 2. a wallhanging rack for ladles or spatulas. 6 1/4" tall, 4" wide, 1 1/2" deep. 3. a trivit. 2 3/4" square 4. a small oval platter. 4 1/4" by 2 3/8" and 5. two cake or cookie serving plates. 4 3/8" diameter. There are 5 canisters in the set. 2 1/2" tall, 1 3/4" wide, 1 1/4" deep, and 10 plates with a 3 1/8" diameter. These probably date from the late 1800s or early 1900s and are in nice condition for the age. They are played with and there are bumps. Scratches and rust spots typical of tin that would be played with over many years. The trivet and tray clearly show some of the problems. Two canisters have something in them. One

This beautiful vintage wall clock is French Country in style. The green and gold tones with pink flowers have a wonderful patina. The is some very minor cracking in the wood due to the age and the way it was made. This is where the wood was glued together before it was carved. This is a wall clock meant to sit on the matching original shelf but could stand alone on a mantle. The works are marked Unghans with a large letter J inside of a star as shown in one of the photos. The clock while sitting on the shelf is 35" high x 19 1/2" wide. It does work and dongs on the hours and on the half hours. I can't find much information on this so if anyone has any info I would appreciate if you would share. There is a round stamp on the back but I am unable to make it out. Posted with

It is fresh from a old Forest Hills. NY estate. You are bidding on a very large and important French Gilt bronze clock made by Brocot Brevete of Paris from the mid 1800's. Wonderful quality and craftsmanship. It is signed in the back as seen on pictures. The condition is expected for its age. The arms on the dial are missing. In addition, the object held by the girl is missing. The chime and the pendulum are separated from the mechanism. The chime has a very pleasant lovely sound. Many of their clocks, like the one in this auction, were French made with the Theodore B. Starr logo on the enamel face. Measuring the white marble base, which is perfect, this mantle clock is 6” wide by 11” long and the overall height to the top of the grapes, which one Puti is holding, is 13 ½” Constructed from solid Bronze this Victorian Clock depicts two classical Puti squeezing grapes for wine. The clock is housed in a large Bronze Wine Barrel surrounded by a grape vine. The works are marked, S.H. Paris” with the serial number 45458 Both bronze Puti and all the bronze ormolu at the bottom are perfect with the original gilding. There are a couple of green verdigris spots just below the right Puti’s feet, but that’s it. The beveled convex Crystal, Enamel Face and Gilt Hands are original and perfect. Both springs are also in perfect condition and I can keep this clock working for short periods but it does eventually stop. Antique Very Rare French 5 Minute Repeater Carriage Brass Glass Clock 19th Cent
Very Rare French 19th Century Carriage Clock with Hour Repeater and 5 Minute Repeater Functions in Nice Fully Working Condition This is a very rare and a highly collectable clock. It has two repeater functions- the more common button on top for repeating hours and a very rare button on the back for repeating 5 minutes. In fact. I own six grande and petite sonnerie carriage clocks and this is only the second 5 minute repeater that I have ever come across. I am still highly debating whether I really want to sell it, but I do prefer carriage clocks with more ornate cases. This clock is fully functional- it runs and strikes properly, also both repeaters work perfectly. One side glass has a small chip(see the photos) Front glass has a tiny surface chip, so small that I have not been able to take a picture that shows it. Here is a truly elegant French clock with great style and quality. It combines superb gilt bronze figures with a white marble base and a blue& white porcelain column which houses the fine small movement. This clock stands just under 14 inches high. The dial is 3 inches across. The pictures suggest. But do not fully show, the high quality of the bronze castings. T h e movement has be e n running well. This is antique French clock movement. Manufactured by famous clock master Mougin(has his stamp on the back plate) as I believe around 18 5 0. The movement came from old clock master estate and looks very clean(shining) and works(there was note in the box from clock master that the movement was cleaned and oiled. That the mainsprings were changed and that the movement works perfectly) The movement runs and strikes on the hours and half hours. Though I did not test it for a long time. The distance between keyholes is approximately 38 mm. B etwee n center and keyhole 14 mm and the center and the axle for a d justment 42 mm. I n the box together with the movement there was also the bronze bezel with the front door with the porcelain dial and pan. It will go with the movement. The dial has small damage near numbers 7 and 11. The dial fits the ... moremovement. Antique French Bayard Shelf Mantel Alarm Clock Running w/ Case
Shown here is a French alarm clock in running condition with original case. I believe it to be a Bayard because of it's design and the lion on the dial which is its signature trade mark. However the name is not found so it cannot be guaranteed. Prior to 1930. Bayard was known as Duverdrey& Bloquel. So this clock was manufactured post 1930. Brass case has been polished too much and lost some of its finish. Dimensions are 2 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches. Outer case is worn and white satin is in pretty rough shape. This is an absolutely stunning French miniature carriage clock. With a fitted leather velvet travel case. This clock is made in France and retailed in United States by J. E. Caldwell& Co. J. E. Caldwell has been a famous Philadelphia jeweler from 1839 and is still in business. The case of this small carriage clock is beautifully decorated by three guilloché enamel panels and outlined by a very intricately hand-made brass mask with gilt finish. The front.
